@@yeahlav wdym. There were literally many nhl players in 2023. Even the IIHF in 2022 had weak players. I havent seen an allstar since 2019, let alone suprstar which was in 2018. The teams are getting worse each year and I hope the IIHF does something about it.

This year's team Canada will basically serve as a tryout for next year's 4 nations face off and the Olympics, Rick Nash is working with Doug Armstrong and that management team to get an idea of what players they want to see so this team could be pretty stacked

Yeah Connor Bedard should defenitly participate in the 2024 IIHF World Championship in Prag. Take the oppertunities to do so, gain valuable professional experience and compete for a medal. Heck if Sidney Crosby also participates, Canada will be dangerously difficult to play against. Crosby is of course already a Triple Gold Club member (2015), but why not go for another shot (!). Alexander Ovetchkin, Jaromir Jagr, Teemu Selanne, Mats Sundin etc. Often participated for there respective nation out of loyalty and gratitude and have won a lot of WC gold, silver & bronze medals.
One thing to note is that Chicago let dach go to the 2021 world juniors and he ended up with a fractured wrist, so they probably won’t risk bedard
Hall coming back next year will help Bedard? Yeah, I guess, for the 4 or 5 games he plays before he gets hurt again and misses the rest of the season. Sad to say it, but I don't think you can rely on Taylor Hall to do anything any more besides get injured.

I'm not sure what the rules are -- or if Bedard has any special stipulations in his contract -- but since the Hawks sent Dach to play in the world juniors a few years ago & he broke his wrist, I think management would probably be against him going 🤷. If it's entirely up to the player, I think he'd go.
