at 2m rpm, assuming that the engine is based on a cummins N14 (6" stroke), the pistons are moving at 136,363.6mph. they are changing direction 4m times per minute, or 66,667 times per second. the force exerted upon the crankshaft by each piston and rod assembly (approximately 23.5 lbs for rod, bearing, piston, pin, and retainers) is roughly 50,724 tons for each directional change.

Problem is the same as his 10k rpm 10.6 video. Beam seems to account for the fact that when you move your torque peak to higher RPM your bottom end suffers. Or better said that it took him way more boost to get the same 1700ftlbs as the stock 10.6. Still really fun though, just sad that we can’t get 1500ftlbs in a 10k rpm diesel Edit: okay went and looked, stock 10.6 1600 ftlbs on 39psi. 10k 10.6 700 ftlbs on 55psi.
