No he isn't. He has already spent more than Klopp on transfers in less time. He is a cheque book manager like Pep Guardiola. There is nothing special about Arteta, when you can go out and spend a billion each window. What is special about him is how he bottled a 10 point lead last season to end up empty handed as per usual.

it is impressive offensively aswell, scored the most goals this season now after tonight. It reminds me of city in seasons post aguero and pre haaland where midfielders would chip in all the time like gundogen, kdb, bernardo and others contributing. Only 2 of the 6 goals came from forwards tonight and none scored by saka whereas at other times this season people have said maybe they rely on saka
arsenal is good because Jorginho is playing where rice was meant to play and rice is playing higher up the pitch. rice is good at interceptions, so they defend higher naturally, but Jorginho is the difference maker to this team.
Jorginho and Partey is going to be the difference for Arsenal to push for the title. Both are great and Rice will excel with one of them playing as 6
Jorginho is better than partey, jewellery understand the rhythm of game soo well. Dictate the play so well for us. 12 million is a steal. Hope he signs a 2 year deal
As an Arsenal fan, Partey has been such a disappointment. He spent more time off the pitch than on the pitch. He's not reliable at all. Jorginho on the other hand, has been always available for the team since day one

@@samkhan5661 they struggled in the group stage. Then beat Porto, Benfica and Milan to get to the final where they were soundly beat.
As a Milan fan it pains me to say it. But the best team in European top leagues is Inter with 13 GA (out of 22 xGA) and 56 GD in Serie A. In UCL they have conceded 5. It's a solid team to beat and people are sleeping on them, ignoring their stats and the fact that they made the final last year with a very similar (poorer) squad.

It’s always been acknowledged, but listening to Henry say “WE” is impressive.
It's not by any means in Europe, Jamie, just look at Inter Milan numbers. In 26 games Arsenal has conceded 23 goals which is obviously excellent... until you realized that Inter has conceded only 12 in the same number of matches!. Arsenal has 10 clean sheets, Inter 17. On the attack front, Arsenal has scored 62, but again Inter has scored more, 67. The goal difference to Arsenal is +39 and Inter is +55 (and Arsenal has now 58 points and is in third place but Inter is 69, and lead Serie A by 12 points and literally about the end of the day could extend it to 15).

Yes we are simple as. Conceded an average xG of 0.31 in the last 7 games - for comparison City have conceded three times as much, Liverpool have conceded five times as much. It’s phenomenal what Arteta has done.

There are a lot of people, in the media, and fans, who don’t or won’t accept that Arsenal are very serious challengers for the title again this season. These people are also very critical of Arteta, often totally dismissing what he is doing at the club. I’ve been a Gooner since the days of ‘Chippy’ and this Arsenal team is one of the most exciting I’ve seen at the club.
Out of 3 goals we conceded... we gave away 2 of them. Could so easily have been 0 goals tbh.
