TL of job that we had to redesign due to massive rainfall camera 2

In early April, Pittsburgh saw record-shattering rainfall that caused quite a bit of damage all over the area. We received a call from a customer that his pavers had shifted during the storms. What we discovered was that the entire wall system (all 613,000 pounds of weight) had moved causing the pavers to move.
We immediately scheduled a consultation with the designing engineer, put together a plan and then executed the plan to prevent future water damage.
It was a humbling experience to say the least and confirms that even if you do everything by the CMHA standards there is nothing perfect in this world.
We remain thoroughly convinced however, that if we would not have completed this wall to CMHA standards, it would have been lying in a heap at the bottom of the hill.
