Acrylic sheeting can be painted with water-based paint on latex base or acrylic lacquer. Be sure to use a good primer that is suitable for plastic. The primer ensures that the paint adheres to the surface and doesn't flake or peel. I just used a cheap can of black spray paint and some scraps of acrylic I had on hand. Just like normal car bodies, paint on the inside.
Here is some run footage of the DR10 for your enjoyment.

Cool sand drag machine buddy!
Sometimes when I don't have extra cash I look for stuff to mess with. I always save scraps and have tons of hardware so it's my "fun for free". The DR-10 can rip in the dirt but managing the steering is difficult. lol - - I noticed after making the video that my super glue broke loose on my home made slipper eliminator and my right front suspension arm was cracked at the hinge pin and moving all around,. Still I had fun and the concept is good. lol ==== Thanks so much for watching. ===== 👌
Dope your latest updates on the DR10! It's cool to see how you've been experimenting with different setups, like switching from metal sliding to acrylic sheeting for the chassis. Your DIY approach is straightforward and practical, which is great. The added bucket to keep dirt out and the potential for a realistic-looking driver are nice touches. Sucks about the issues with the gearbox cover, but it's good to see you troubleshooting and getting it running on the street. Keep up the awesome work on your RC projects. Take care, and happy driving bud
Thanks so much for the kind comment. The DR10 has been a love hate experience but I enjoy tinkering on rainy days and keeping my dog company as I listen to the radio. I was going to shelf the DR-10 for now but as soon as I get it going again I'll do a good run video. I actually got a Tax return this year so I will be getting some toys. I just don't have the money to dump into my cars but the DR10 will get some attention. I just picked up a mini LMT and plan on showing it and possibly a Lasernut if the price stays the same as it is right now. Otherwise I might get a 4s Outcast or something similar. I really have no idea yet. The DR10m is super nice but I rarely do speed runs or drive on the street.
Awesome mods RC Roads you are the one guy who had done it all with a dr10 from street basher to off road basher
Thanks so much. Very kind of you. Yes I have bashed and smashed it a bit and on rainy days its fun to experiment on.
Interesting video my friend, thanks for sharing. Greetings.
Thanks for watching. The car needs some work but it's fun to mess with.
perfect buggy and job champ💪😎
Thanks for the nice complement. It's good for strait aways and perhaps I'll do a dirt speed run some day or maybe a drag race if I stumble into someone with another 2wd with paddles. lol
Woww.such a Amazing.video
Thanks kindly. Happy times.
That is coming along awesome. Love the choice of paddles! Nice job man
Thanks buddy. I like Proline tires because they are fairly adaptable simple to fit with the inserts they come with. The mohawks in front are Proline as well. It's just easy to shop for tires through them.
@@RCRoads i m a fan as well, they look so good
Sweet mods
Thanks.. I wanted to make a 2wd sandrail and that's what I came up with. The DR10 is a bit finicky in the dirt so I'll probably go with something else next time.
great video👍👍
Thanks for watching. 👍👍
That tire setup looks sweet! Can you tell me what they are/size or part number (dumont) I just subscribed to your channel. 👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much for the sub. I purchased the tires from ProLine Racing. FRONTS ---> PRO115700 | Mohawk SC 2.2"/3.0" Sand Front Tires REAR PADDLES ----> Pre-Mounted Dumont 3.8" Paddle Tires on Raid Black 8x32 Removable Hex Wheels..... I don't see a part number for the paddles but they come up on their sight. They are a good vendor and are US based. I'm not sure of their exact location but I receive my orders withing a day or 2 in California. They come with 17mm hex adaptors so if you need 12mm you can order them at the same time. The mohawks in front were purchased unmounted and I picked up some rims latter from the local hobby store. Stadium rims I thing? Proline might have the rims but It's been a while. Thanks again buddy.. Have fun with your build.
@RCRoads Thank you. I really appreciate it.👍👍
😂nice👍
Thanks Boris. 😊Your the best. I totally appreciate your support.
