Han Solo is an iconic character in the Star Wars universe. As a kid I wanted a blaster and now thanks to Battle Arms I am able to shoot a working replica of the famous pistol.

    • AR Pistols are the dumbest designs and then going .22 caliber is even dumber. If you want to make a replica Solo blaster then start with the actual gun used to make the movie prop.

    • Han was a great shot! But yes in general the blasters are pretty bad and pretty inaccurate… never understood, why would the imperial military/stormtroopers go with a blaster that’s literally designed to be fired from the WAIST as their primary weapon? I think their failure to even really be able to aim their weapons contributed to lack of accuracy as much as the blasters themselves😂my nerd-out rant of the day

  • Canto Arms has been making one for a while for under $1000 (the "Nocturne 22 Heavy Blaster")... and they have kits so that you can have fun building one for yourself (including the parts to build the version carried by Cassian Andor). They also currently have what they call the "E-11D MKII Blaster Carbine"

    @dababcock9@dababcock911 ай бұрын
    • This. I was early money on mine. No logo PSA lower, slick sided upper from I forget who, CMMG kit and barrel and the Canto arms parts and I’m less than half that even with an Ultradot pistol sight. The hardest part was waiting on the CMMG stuff. Although I’m thinking about changing it to Andor stuff. That is cool.

  • CMMG's 22LR kit with a dedicated 22LR barrel is the same design. It's similar enough that it's actually a CMMG kit or a copy of the same kit with what looks to be a CMMG 4" 22LR barrel. The interface for conversion kits are what you described but both types use the same BCG. The only specialty items are the grip, safety switch and muzzle devise everything else is just off the shelf AR parts which hardly justifies the price.
