  • The only solution is using nuclear energy for production of green hydrogen after doing some research vast amounts of KOH is needed to be made and what to do with spent KOH pass it through reverse osmosis to extract K salts and water. Heavy water is a by product and useful for fusion energy that will be 40 years later . It takes 50KW of energy to produce 1 kg of hydrogen if we can lower the energy to 43KW that will be a plus . The only use of hydrogen in industrial scale is for ammonia production.

  • Everything looks neat, what is yield? How quickly do the plates oxidize?

  • This is a brilliant way to go! What’s the membrane technology that they’re utilising for these electrolysis cells? Those cell blocks look absolutely stunning!

  • it works and watts in equal 70%watts out nice conversion ratio....I run an HHO bottle on my RV And have conducted lots of my own "back yard" experiments,hydrogen on demand is best but we need storage and that presents it own unique challenges...

    • Sorry but highest state of art electrolyzer could reach only 94% efficiency in lab. Best you can do is close to 75%.

  • It takes 3 times as much energy to produce hydrogen by electrolysis as the hydrogen will produce and how much platinum is consumed! And that is why all industrial hydrogen production is done by cracking it from methane and produces vast amounts of CO2

    @terenceiutzi4003@terenceiutzi40033 жыл бұрын
    • It should go without saying that hydrogen generation from electrolysis will be the ideal transition from natural gas and can be readily utilized using the same infrastructure in providing energy and as a energy storage medium.
