I'm curious if I could build a bot to open my different online membership accounts (by giving it my login info to each one) then cross reference and analyze the data from each? Is that possible?
Or one that can also extract data from various site extensions or plugins depending on the query you're researching?
Man, I'm so stuck with the (.env) that I have no idea how to download it to Collaboratory! the rest is fine but I really don't know to make that happen! how the F do i do that? HELP bro
@@PulsechainVideos I'm on a mac and it was hidden since I saved it as a .env file. Heck if I know why. What I did was created a folder named "env" (name it whatever, it doesn't matter), went into Sublime Text where I was creating and saving the .env folder and saved the .env file in that new "env" folder. I was then able to go into my Finder/search for that "env" folder, open it up, and eventhough the .env file was faded out, I could still see it and I could click and drag it over to the "Files" icon he does in the video. Dunno but that worked for me, hope it helps!!
crewAI creator here, love to see this! We will keep shipping new versions with improvements!
Can't wait!
Y not add Google's gemin API support?
Is crewAI production ready?
You guys are making the future! Be good people please.
Could you make it easier for us to use local LM‘s for crew AI agents and all of their tools (where it makes sense)
This is so cool, I didnt expect to watch the whole thing, but im interested in seeing the next part. You explain things very clearly, this is really exciting stuff.
Thank you, David! I was looking for for somebody to clearly explain what AI agents are, how they are used, and what we can expect in the near future. And you did an excellent job answering all of my questions. Your video is exactly what I was looking for. Great information! I subscribed :)
This is so exciting! Superb starting exercise - can't wait for modules 3 & 4
The simplicity in presentation…Beautiful!! Wow now I’m pumped!!!
Great video halfway in. KZhead recommends a lot of videos of people who talk a lot but say nothing, but every now and then there is something worth watching. a def follow!
Glad it was helpful!
Loved the line "Talk a lot but say nothing" there are a lot of people on youtube like that.
Excellent tutorial, thanks for sharing!
Well done! First video that gave me results as a beginner ai enthusiast.
I've been using CrewAI for a couple of weeks now and I have to say that was a brilliant presentation, thank you
Thanks David, great video again!
Finally I understand agent in relation to AI thank you!
Great video, you do an awesome job explaining!
Good stuff man, you have the right approach to this.
In theory can A.I agents be used to calculate complex calculus questions?!
I’m a novice beginning to learn about AI. I’ve watched a dozen videos on the subject. This video is by far the best explanation on the subject of AI agents and the near future of AI. Thank you!
thank you mister, been waiting for for this
Very useful. Thank you David!
Subscribed - this video made me decide AI Agents are what I will be learning about a lot more
First time coming across this! Insanely valuable. Thanks David!!
Amazing Video. You help the progress. 💪🏻
Value has been provided. Thank you very much.
This guy is a great speaker, like I'm getting excited
Amazing tutorial David!!! I didn’t even know what an agent was before your video and you just taught me how to code and deploy a crew of them in a half of an hour!!! Thank you doesn’t begin to convey my appreciation. Keep up the tremendous work! 💪💪💪
This video is awesome. I cant wait for more about AI Agents.
I'd love to see your review of Agent Swarm. All looks good in the videos, but you know how to put them to the test. I am just as excited as you are about AI agents. Most exciting time in my 40 year career.
If anybody has the problem with importing .env file @21:02 - I was able to fix it by defining those two variables in the "Secrets" tab of Colab (the key icon in the left menu). No need for the .env file and no need to load it through load_ext
I am not a coder AT ALL, but your explanation is so clear that I feel this is within my reach. Very excited to get going with agents based on your work here!
Nicely done.
Thanks bro. Starting now
Amazing tutorial!
i have watched almost every ai agent video on youtube and i can tell you that this one is the best and easiest to understand for anyone who is trying to learn or understand what an Ai agent is/does. you should make more videos focused on ai agents tutorials/ explainers!
Agree!!!!
Hey guys how do you guys get around the openai api key subscription problem? I mean is there a way to get it for free(e.g for students)?
I had a problem that when i made a .env file it was of type 3dsenv eventhough i didnt specify the filetype as such. Then when i dragged the file onto google collab it wasnt visible.
@@Gamerlegendmodder I think it is free to everyone, USE EYE icon to see hidden files :)
I work as an AI Solutions architect for consulting company, and learning how to manage agents is the white collar work of the future. Whether the agent is solving big or small projects (love how this video goes through the difference) that will derive the jobs that manage them to keep the human glue.
What company do you work for?

Hi David. Great tutorial - thank you! I'm stuck at the .env file - I opened a notepad file, entered my API keys, saved it as .env into a folder on my drive, but dragging it from Windows Explorer into the left pane of the Colabs notebook doesn't save the file there. A progress circle appears an completes, but no file appears. What am I doing wrong, please? If I name the file demo.env it uploads, but how do I upload it as .env, or does it not matter?
Im a noob here so i probably dont get the context of your question, so this might be the noobiest responce. I think you are not utilizing the show hidden eye icon because if aI try saving a test notepad file and demo.env it shows up without the need to show hidden files, but for my .env file it shows up once I utilize this icon as the .env will only show up as a hidden file. Its an eye icon in the folder section.
@songbookdb
@@nataliavalbuena4858 thank you so much!
Hi David, super interesting, thanks for the video. I'm thinking about signing up to your skool project as I have quite a project coming up. No idea if this is helpful.
Great job!
I am stuck trying to do the .Env file can someone help me out please, I’m use Mac OS
This gives start ups more power to compete with bigger slower moving companies and I’m so excited
What is the advanced framework you mentioned?
great video! I tested all code and it just works! amazing how easy
Would be great for you to do this with some of the open source models locally. I was struggling to get them to consistently use crew 'tools', even with the most verbose instructions and descriptions
Which framework is he referring to for the self improving agent implementation?
Really nice video but only problem I got is when I try llm=ChatOpenAI(model_name="gpt-3.5-turbo-16k", temperature=0.3) it throws "RateLimitError: Error code: 429" but if use your model_name="gpt-4-turbo-preview" it says I have no access to it can you suggest any suitable model_name that could resolve these.
Everything's working fine until I get to the very end and get this message: "NotFoundError: Error code: 404 - {'error': {'message': 'The model `gpt-4` does not exist or you do not have access to it.', 'type': 'invalid_request_error', 'param': None, 'code': 'model_not_found'}}" Any tips?
Exactly the same problem for me...
Amazing
Q: you mention "the next module" - is that coming on the YT channel or inside your comminuty?
what foundation platform do you use?
Cool, please share more)))
I was having a problem that when i saved the .env file it was of filetype 3ds env and when i dragged it to google collab it wasnt visible
Excellent channel (!)
Hi David, Thanks for clear and excellent video relating this hot topic. I tried to apply same but getting quota limit error, eventhough I have credit at OpenAI . What can be the reason ? any advise ?
did you end up resolving this?
Can I use Swift programming langue for building AI Agents?
This wasn't working for me as I was following the instructions exactly the syntax error invalid syntax it's already loaded. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong
would it be capable of running a social media page and growing it?
hey just a quick FYI I dont know if you were aware of the secrets in colab but thats what the little key on the left side is to store the secrets just like API secret keys
Thanks! This helped!
Hi David. Thank you for the video. I'm using iOS Mac Pro, I can't create a folder with ".evn". iOS doesn't let you create a folder name starting with ".".
It’s actually a file with .env I use mac
David, toto je super.
AutoGen Studio 2 has a decent UI and CrewAI will have one in the near future. I do prefer CrewAI to AutoGen, though. But I imagine AutoGen will pull ahead due to it being Microsoft.
Why on earth are you writing code from scratch and not using an LLM?
Thank you for your videos David. I've been following along but got stuck where you created the .env folder because im using a Mac (I think). Can you (or anyone) help me to get past this point? I'm uber new to the field of coding, programming etc. so please forgive my ignorance. Thank you (or anyone) for whatever help you can be to me.
Try creating a file called `env` first, then rename that file to `.env` after you add your API keys. When I created the file with the name `.env` first, I could not edit it.
Hey guys! I'm immersed in the study of AI agents and I'm curious: would it be viable to build an agent that prospects customers for freelance professionals? I envision a system capable of exploring Instagram in an automated way, identifying potential customers and even starting conversations to schedule sales meetings. Is it possible to develop such AI agents? If so, do you know of any videos on KZhead or any mentors that explain how to create AI agents to automatically prospect customers through Instagram? Is there something like this in development or is this an idea for the future of AI?"
The bottleneck is obviously hardware I like the idea of extropic to solve it
while running with gpt 3.5 a getting error 'You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details.' am using 3.5
I am always getting SyntaxError: invalid syntax when I run agent, writer and moving on
so you feel this is better than trading, micro saas, affiliate marketing and print on demand?
Hey, any thoughts on how to contain/reduce the amount of credits? It cost around 20p to run a query
use Claude 3 Haiku for your smaller Agents, and Opus or GPT-4-Turbo for the main agent
@@DavidOndrej thanks, this would be a great video!
I don't get all those weird explanations about what agents are. Basically are they LLMs with the access to the internet and ability to fetch info about anything they're asked for? Can they actually DO something or just write text answers? What if I wanted it to get data, structure it approprietely and export to a file? Because if they can't it's not much of an automation if I need to manually export what they write to the destined place, like for example a blog if I wanted a blog writer agent. Can they interact with OS and apps in any way?
The agents do all that stuff, they just have LLM brains
Can you use AI agents without using OPEN AI API?
When I try to register with serper since a few days, all it tells is : It is not possible to register at this moment, try again later. Is there any alternate?
What is the difference between AI agents customers service vs AI chatbot customer service? Reference to Klarna as you mentioned
Hey David, I LOVE AI Agents... but I'm left wondering: Why hasn't anybody developed a system/app that takes the API's from the top LLMs, created agents for each, and then have these agents all work together to brainstorm, debate, review, and solve problems? I often get 4 different answers from 4 LLMs, so why not have them all setup as agents "in one room" working together to come up with the "best" solution. I can't find anybody that's tried this... why not? Wouldn't having the "top minds" (LLMs) working together produce better results?
Very interesting. How much did it ultimately cost to complete the task?
$0.97
@@DavidOndrej Thanks for letting me know. That was way more expensive than I imagined. It's easy to see how costs can easily add up.
Whats the IDE you are doing this in, is it cloud based or local server based?
Google Colab
You are a champion ahaha this is great ty
Notes in Mac doesn't seem to work, what other way do you recommend
You can use VS Code, or just edit the .env file inside of Google Colab
@@DavidOndrej Thanks, but no idea what this means or how.
Excuse me, I hope you are well. It is requested to tell me that is there a way to get openai api key for free? I think it runs out of free tokens after a few uses. Thanks and regards
תודה!
For some reason I am running into a quota issue when I run the last cell, even though I have plenty more credits available on open ai for gpt 3.5 turbo
Make sure you are specifying GPT 3.5 inside of the Agents themselves
Are you using the free version? Or paid version?
you lost me at the .env file upload. I'm on a mac can I just upload a docx file of the api keys from pages or is there something in google collab you used to upload the keys into the code
@anonuser8228 Did you find out what to do? Im having the same problem.
I think to achieve the best ai agents solution we'll be integrating highly specialized LLMs with better and faster response and lower costs. That's the next generation I envision
The 7th step of loading de .env variables is not working in VSC. Im using normal python3 in Visual studio Code and it doesn't work
from dotenv import load_dotenv if load_dotenv(verbose = True, override = True): OPENAI_KEY = os.getenv('OPENAI_KEY') ...
provocative video
"never share this API key"- proceeds to share key
I can't get my env file to move over to collab
Uncheck the "eye" symbol on the top left of your colab. It is for hidden files.
Have an agent find a new energy source; such as water splitting.
I am stuck on the environment variable dotenv is a text file?
No. It's a ".env" file
@@DavidOndrej I opened my text editor which saves text files how do I create an .env file and where is that created - I have my 2 API files but I don't know how to save it as an .env file is this done in Colab?
Wow! Díky👍 Following

it'll be nteresting to see if ai agents can exponentially make scientific discoveries.
I like your vid but I still dont understand the purpose of agents. Ive watched your tutorial and many others. And while yes I could be classified as a supernoob, I was actually able to watch some tutorials and successfully installed and created a basic agent with autogen and autogen studio. But at the end of it, it just seemed like I spent hours doing what chatgpt already does better. Like what is the purpose of going through all this just to create a program that just sends your request to the chatgpt LLM, with not much difference than if you just went to the chatgpt website directly and asked it the same thing? I dont doubt agents are useful, but im literally just not understanding how.
Just because somebody's "old" or an Uber driver doesn't necessarily mean they're behind the times. I'm both and I know more about AI than anyone else I know, even my kids. 4:55 But I get what you're saying.
Where's the code?
How close is it tho?
Very very very close. We have already managed to do impressive things without gpt5. Look at devin, babyagi, autogpt, autogen, langgraph stuff. For people who are into the space already, gpt5 is just a pure upgrade of the brain rather than the toolkit itself. Planning and action will be more well thought and streamlined. Tldr. We are there

Why do you think Andrej is the best engineer of our time? I think he has his brilliancy but where he really shines is communicating it, teaching it to others. But being the best, I don't know where that comes from for you so I'm curious about your thoughts on this.
AI agents ? Well great, we are building Matrix and then we gonna ask our selfs what have we done...
Pretty sure many people will just live in VR hooked up to feeding tubes
