Most of us feel that our memory is weak. But how to improve your memory? From day to day life activity to memorized pie value 43000 decimal place then recalled it in 5 hours and 21 minutes, how I memorized it? You can you also do it. If I can called as memory king then why not you? Do these exercise 5 minutes daily and change your life.
Guinness world record holder Mr. Krishan Chahal is the world’s foremost authority on the memory improvement. Known as memory king Mr. Chahal has also created the world’s toughest memory record by memorising value of pi up to 43,000 decimal places. Around the world millions of people and esteemed organisation like Davidson Academy of Naveda (USA), Indian Air Force, IiT Kanpur, Defence Research & Development Orgaization, Indian Navy, NPCIL and many other organisations have benefitted from his highly effective memory improvement programs. • Let me try recalling the key points of his speech. There are two ways to improve memory 1) Modifying the information - which makes it easier for brain to memorize 2) Reprogramming our mind- to be more focused and attentive to the important aspects He digs deeper into the 2nd point. He recommends to reflect in details about the events that happened throughout the day, at night. When done often we tend to progressively get better. Our brain becomes more attentive since we know we'll have to remember the details at night and our focus to details expands. He also suggested that if we are weak at something, we need to increase our depth of focus, by trying to recall that event in more detail later on. Thanks for the great speech.

    • I know this was a joke comment, but is probably a real problem for some and I have some insight to give! The best advice I have to whoever might be having a real problem with this (stressing on mistakes we make); a lot of the issues you face or mistakes you make in life are *only as big as you view them to be*. In fact, you have the ability to not see them as issues or embarrassing mistakes at all. There are even people who not only reduce these down to nothing, but rather leverage them to level themselves up. Leveling yourself up that way does take patience and compassion for yourself, but your best start to get there is to simply reduce the mental illusion of struggle, mistakes, and embarrassment down to nothing. I did get a laugh out of your comment tho 😉

  • At first, He showed us the value of pie and demonstrated the number of decimal places up to which he has memorised. He has memorised the value of pie up to 43000 Decimal places. Later,he discussed his feelings for students regarding memorising. He has a soft corner for them as they are involved in studies throughout the day. Next, he discussed the common spelling mistakes that students make.He gave an example of "Conscious" word, where Concious ×....and conscious √ He advised to modify the information in such a way so that it catches the attention of our mind,so modified the "S" letter in the form of "Huge Snake". Teachers give a student to write a correct spelling 5 times, or 10 times or 20 times which can be done by the students even while they watch their favourite movie. Now comes the part 2 of his speech, which speakes about Daily 5 minute exercise before going to bed. Right from the moment you step down from your bed,who was the first person you met,how many phone calls you made or received.. In this way, we will reprogram our mind to focus it's attention on specific things,at specific point of time. For him,Biology is a difficult subject to memorise so he used to focus on the topics, in this way,we can memorise a difficult subject by subconsciously asking our brain to pay attention on certain topics. As per him,if this exercise is done on a daily basis then it can give tremendous results. Daily going through your day before going to bed will improve your memory by many folds. At the end,he asked us to write the whole day's events before we go to bed.(Don't forget to do it Tonight 😎🇦🇬). Please let me know if I missed any points of his speech.

I’m super critical of my technique with heavy compound movements, I’ll run a whole set in my head before initiating the lift, then immediately run it back in my head again to find where I improved and can improve. The result is my technique actually improves because I can remember and apply the little details so I can push harder without injury. Definitely making this my nightly routine. Having a weak memory has been such a hindrance in my life. And it’s time for change baby!

    • Remembering things in one day is not something great to feel happy about. To considered as success, you need to be able to remember any tech (in detail) that you got started and worked with after a long time (about 3 months or above) not working with it. You don't even need to re-read any reference about the tech, such as how to write a snippet of code to do something, the main libraries, the main classes, the main involved patterns, good practices ...

  • So, in short: - "Design or modify the information you learn". Make the content attractive to you, so it can catch your attention and be more impactful to you. Be creative in the process. Thus, that information will remain in your brain longer or for good. - "Reprogram your mind". That means, put your entire attention on the important things, what matters the most. Exercise: Remember all the things you did during the day. What did you do in the morning, what did you learn, what was the lecture you took about, who was around you, what was their names, what were they doing,... etc. This way, your brain will force you to remind all the things you were aware of in your day-to-day life even more as you have to recall them all at night (look at it as if it was a school test).

The idea that organized rehearsal when we retire for the night sets in place attentional schemas for future experiences is absolutely phenomenal. It is also a testable proposition. Kudos!

I also try to pin what I think is essential by remembering specific markers of my own in my brain using a particular memory retention technique. Hope this helps.

Today I don't want to start my day at all. It happens in family life.. Professional life.. Due to emotional imbalances we go through each day through out our life.. We find the best thing to survive is to forget things that hurt and disturb us... But it is a great deal to remember every thing and still stay cool..

Second day 40. Third day is 90 lines of text. I'm interested how far it will go. It maybe take longer than 5 minutes. But yeah - really i feel that my brain is working better each day. Really great Thanks, And thank you for inspiration. The simplest something is the better. And that technique, and explanation of it is just fantastic. I really like this theory that when we are asking a question to our mind we are programming ourselves on the feature. Thanks a Million.

  • I'll try to recall his talk... Make big connections to memorize spellings like in "conscious" S as a big snake End of the day 'recall every thing till the bed you are on ex. in class that lecture this topic details of concept' like wise everything that makes scence, on doing it regularly details increase like sherlock's in detective film. The more detail you go the more anchor your concept.

  • I came up with a memory exercise more focused on regular memory. It involves reading aloud words looking at them just once. Then I recall the words. I've went from remembering 3 words to now remembering 7 words. It's a different way of remembering it could also improve on remembering in this way.

  • Let me recall what I just listened: 1 He had learned the value of Pie in almost 5 hours 30 minutes upto 4300 decimal points 2 Usage of mnemonics that act as a helping hand in order to learn the spelling of the word Like for Conscious , he told that often young aged children often confuse it with Concious In order to have the correct spelling , try to remember the letter S in conscious as a snake 3. Reprogramming your mind according to the information we need , write down or think about how you had spent your whole day . What you had done in the morning , whom you had met , what was the conversation 4. In case of studies , try to remember what the teacher had said and taught It's a long and ardous process , but being *CONSCIOUS* while doing things and remembering them at the night will surely make your memory and mind strong and robust .

  • 1. modify the information according to your brain 2. concentrate on what your doing (no multitasking) 3. Recall the day once before sleep I suggest: 1. eat well 2. no multitasking 3. start the day positive 4. active as results oriented 5. take proper rest 6. don’t cancel the plans 7. be in peaceful environments 8. coordinate with your brain 🧠 don’t rushing the memory 9. things takes its own time to get catch in brain 10. don’t go against natural principles

    • All that is definitely true. Another cause for having trouble remembering is Mental Health problems as well. That is one thing I learned and I actually bettered my self from my own problems. When the mind is not cleared from things that are distracting you. Your Memory will not be exactly as good as it once was until you better yourself. Whether it's from you doing it or getting help. I'm glad I found this video
