hopefully there will be a video. It's doubtful, but I'm hopeful since JK is in the US right now. His military enlistment starts Dec 12th so time is running out. :( So sad that the solo side of his career is blowing up right at the time that he has to go into the military in order to be out in time for BTS to reunite in 2025. I respect his decision, though. I think his brothers and BTS mean even more to him than his solo career. It's endearing. I think he (and all the members) can have both when they get out. :)
I do love this version, but something in me is sad that they picked the title track of his very first solo album to remix. I would have preferred a whole new song or any of his other songs. I know there are those people who always find something to complain about and that's what I feel like saying this, but it's just my honest reaction. Deep down, I wanted his first title track to be one that people will remember and listen to 25-50 years from now. The two version are different in many ways, so maybe both songs will be that way. :)@@wandaclose7087

OMG!! This was sooooo good! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 What I am the happiest about is that JK is being recognized for what he is a "Top Tier" entertainer. He can stand with the greats and now the industry in "west" (U.S.) can't deny his talent. To have Usher and JK together on a track is an "eargasm" that will make you do a double take and listen again and again............. a MV would be perfection!

All I know is that the RnB King met the KPOP King and it was match made in heaven. I'm still getting over hearing Usher my fave Rnb singer on a track with my fave Kpop artist. This is on repeat. I love the Remix, I agree with you both when you mentioned the fact that Usher didn´t only sing a part of the song but he added his flavour on it. But on the other hand, in this case, i was expecting a bigger interaction btw JK and Usher in a sense that we could listen how they sing together , how their voices play together and not just one part vs the other.

He gives an extra bump to the R&B/Soul vibe of this, and we know both of them share that MJ inspiration. Respect to JK for working with these legends and bringing his work, and BTS’s, to new audiences. This is how you achieve global success, and why JK and the guts are the greatest. They know who the greats are, and they pay homage to them. Love it!

Very smart. Two strong U.S artists...massively O.G, Usher more so than JT imo, to get this on the radio. There's no way in hell that this won't get more radio play.
yeah, it's like pulling teeth to get them to play JK on the radio. I do daily request for the BTS related songs I think they might play and still most of them don't even have Jung Kook as an option to request or make alerts for. It's ridiculous with him having so many songs in the top 10 or even top 5 and all English. It's deliberate, imo. Radio hold the power of the charts. I saw a report last week comparing Taylor's song to the Beatles and JK as far as radio play. This is no shade on Taylor. I like her music a lot. It's shade on radio. They played Taylor's song 77+MILLION times, The Beatles almost 2 MILLION times, and JK 400 THOUSAND times. That is 76,600,000 more radio air plays for Taylor than JK. I wouldn't expect them to play him more, but come on. That's not even hiding the fact that you are not going to support him. For him (them/BTS - members and other Asian artists) to ever get a top 10 or to top the chart is HUGE... because they do it without the support of radio. I wish there were some brave journalist willing to take on Western music and show the discrepancy.

At first listen I wasn’t completely in love with it honestly but the more I listen to it the more it’s growing on me. The beginning of the second verse where usher comes in kinda through me off a bit but it got into a good groove in about 3 seconds into it. I am OBSESSED with the “Next to You harmony though! I’m really surprised to hear that Usher was on this remix. I do love it bc I was a young teen and was into R&B in the 60s then Funk in 80s and 90s. Usher brought a different kinda Smooth R&B and had fantastic songs along with vocals. I was shocked when my granddaughters showed me his moves via MTV. I was mesmerized straight up and hooked on all his music although I was about 50. I really enjoyed this. It’s amazing. I’m not sure yet if it’s my Favorite Remix but it’s a close decision.
