    • Nobody is talking about how abysmal Jamal Murray has been in the playoffs this season - 37.5 FG% is disastrously bad! He is the most overrated player in this league. And yet Mike Malone continues to rely on this useless player. These American coaches are too soft. I used to watch European football; they have the most competitive leagues there. In Europe, if a star player isn't performing, he gets benched. But American coaches don't want to hurt their players' egos. Don't be fooled by Murray's game-winners against the Lakers. If he actually played well, the Nuggets wouldn't be in a position to have to hit game-winners in the first place. He's being exposed this postseason for the average player he is. There is a reason he isn't an All-Star. If I were Mike Malone, I would bench Murray for the remainder of the series in favor of Justin Holiday and look to Julian Strawther or even Hunter Tyson for some inspiration from the bench. I know it sounds absurd, but Murray is a liability for this Nuggets team - he's selfish and takes too many shots (but can't make 'em).

  • You guys can point to the defense of Minn all you want and that’s cool. They deserve credit for their reputation. The last game of the regular season between these 2 is more like what Denver is capable of playing. This team looks nothing like that. Denver is beating themselves more than Minn is beating them. It starts with Murray. Trying to play thru something he’s not capable of doing. He’s throwing all of our offense off, causing all kinds of mismatches on defense, and being an emotional distraction. Yes there was a lot of fouls that should have been called our way that didn’t in G2 (you can’t be that physical and not foul) but you can’t let that define the game. The clip of the heat pack sliding on the floor, I’m not even watching that play, I’m watching how fucking lazy MPJ and Jokic were being, allowing a wrap around bounce back to Slo Motion who gets on easy shot. I turned it off when Gordon tried this no look between the legs behind you bounce pass to MPJ that bounced over his head in the 4th. Denver is making a lot of bad decisions on there own. Yes there defense is making an impact on certain aspects of our game but we’re just not hustling, playing scared, and making bad decisions. We’re being very mentally weak. Jokic obviously has to play better and has done so for nearly his entire career when having to carry the team that’s under performing/hurt. Everybody going into the playoffs believed Denver was still the favorites. The reason for that is because Rudy has never been able to stop Jokic primarily because he’s not a threat on offense…in fact some of his career games have come against Rudy w/ his last 3 games of the regular season going 41 35 & 32, KAT has been mid tier in the league for most of his career & becomes a shooter under pressure and forces bad shots + gets into foul trouble, ANT is great he proved it last year but doesn’t have a reliable #2 and doesn’t have the offensive firepower that Denver does. Conley is an aging vet who is undersized against us. NAW is a journeyman w/ no real success. Jaden is great defense & all but not helping offensively. Naz is great for additional size but a short center who still hasn’t had any success against Jokic. G1 was 7pts…after watching Murray shoot like a bitch again & Naz banking in a deep 3 + Rudy banking in an ugly elbow jumper…they aren’t getting that to drop again so there’s a 5 point swing not to mention however many Murray should have made that’s an easy 6-10pt win for Denver. G2 was just a disaster on all accounts for us. I don’t care how good their defense is, they can’t keep us down like that again. Thanks to all the talking heads and media hype, everybody is bought into the juice that Minn has right now. I get it, we’ve allowed them to do whatever they want. We’ve come back to win from 3-1 in series multiple playoffs. Bouncing back from 2-0 is very much doable.

    @PullinMyOwn@PullinMyOwn15 күн бұрын
    • Amazing analysis, denver has to shoot better if they want to win because wolves are not going to give up many shots for them to be inefficient and still put numbers on board.

  • Jokic has played like complete sh-t. So maybe he can put up a fight. Followed the league for 50 years in a number of NBA cities and never seen a defending champion lay down and be so pathetic in a game they needed to win at home. Never before. That may be the most shocking playoff outcome I've ever seen. Someone clearly wants to get back to his horses. The 'I'm not really that interested in hoops' take is charming when you win a chip. Not so much when you get your ass handed to you.

    • Everybody here is hating on Jokic, but how come nobody is talking about how abysmal Jamal Murray has been in the playoffs this season - 37.5 FG% is disastrously bad! SMH If I were Mike Malone, I would bench Murray for the remainder of the series in favor of Justin Holiday, and look to Julian Strawther or even Hunter Tyson for some inspiration from the bench. Murray is a liability for this Nuggets team - he's selfish and takes too many shots (but can't make 'em).
