Previously, sewing from rags was considered the domain of grandmothers. But now such creativity has turned into a work of art. Using different techniques you can get things of unusual beauty. In general, the connection of flaps can be called a patchwork, from which other types flow.
You can sew anything from pieces of fabric, from small accessories to large items such as bedspreads.
I have a whole bag of fleece, this fabric is good because it doesn’t fray and the edges don’t need to be processed. It makes warm clothes that are easy to care for, weighs little and does not cause allergies.

I will sew a seat for a chair.
1) I cut out a circle with a diameter of 5 cm from cardboard. I cut fleece of different colors along it.
2) I prepared a thick fabric - a base, folded the edges and stitched.
3) On the wrong side I put a row of circles that slightly overlap each other, this is so that there are no gaps. I pinned them together with pins. I laid a straight line just below the middle.
It is worth paying attention to which side to make the front. Fleece is a fluffy fabric, and on one side the pile is longer.
4) The second row overlaps the first and closes the line.
5) I arranged the mugs themselves like scales. The first and last circles must be placed further inside so that they do not stick out from the row.

7) I stitched the last line along all 4 sides.
Using this principle, you can sew pillows, bedspreads, rugs, and baby blankets.
