RANDOM 5-5-5 Towers Vs. An ELITE Boss... BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - I originally believed that an elite boss was impossible to beat with balanced random towers even with ultimate crosspathing enabled... so I enabled one more thing that on paper could be the difference maker!

16:26 All the dps is from the 515 Spactory, though it's not a bug. Perma-spike was changed to have a longer smart spike boost at the start of rounds, and since those spikes are super mines... *dps go brrrr* .

Looks like the lag issues were from the permaspike spikeballs - They were all getting placed in one spot, and the major lag spikes happened when Dredbloon reached the piles

The big spikes happened when a new round began, smart spikes really, really helped him here! It like doubles a spactory's atk spd. And all of those buffs he had did a lot for it.
The reason sometimes you can't upgrade to a tier 5 is because the game doesn't keep track of the tier 5s already on screen, it keeps track of the number of times you've upgraded to that tier 5. So if you upgrade to glaive lord, that tower gets randomised but the game still thinks you've got a glaive lord so it prevents you from upgrading another boomerang to glaive lord.
I think the massive lag spike at 22 minutes was from the perma spike super mines, because I think the spikes still explode, so the game is trying to process hundreds of explosions whenever the dread balloon ran over it.

The reason for the damage spikes were the super mines that were also perma spkies. The last one was stacking up for like 8 rounds with ultra boosts and it went crazy
Skipping out on Bomb Blitz at 12:36 was a big mistake. The MOAB slim damage bonus applies to every bomb in the cluster, so it would have done absolutely incredible damage, especially with overclock. Plus the ability could have helped if rock bloons became a issue.
The "bug" was maybe the perma-supermines start of round attack speed thing.
The Super Mines wasn't bugged. It was just that Dreadbloon hit the spike pile, which was huge because it was a Perma-Spike too.

@@thelostwanderergames4287I think the main reason for lag is the fact that Perma-spikes have insane amount of pierce, combined with Supermines explosion happening for each and every single pierce. What helps even more to cause this *lag spike* is Perma-spikes lasting so many rounds and stacking up like crazy
the spactory damage spikes are from smart spikes, new round starts and the production goes crazy, hence why it was also wearing off and starting seemingly at random since the rounds aren't exactly a concern

I think the damage spike was from the permanent super mines building up and then dreadbloon running over them.
The lag spike was just your perma spike stacking super mines in a single spot. When dread bloon came close, all of the supermines from a bunch of rounds detonated. Causing a huge spike in damage and lag.

I think it would be interesting to see just how fast elite bosses are shredded when you can choose what 555 towers to make. You could even make it a challenge and try to kill tier 5 elite bosses in under some arbitrary time period, like 30 seconds or something like that (the boss itself, not the entire run lol).
Dreadbloon was probably the best boss to use as a challenge, because of its op immunities and rock bloons.
The power spike was because of the perma super bombs stacking cause a bunch of dam in a sort period of time. Still supper fun watching you vids. Keep up the great content.
Pretty sure what’s causing the damage spike is the super mines that have been stacked through multiple turns all exploding simultaneously because they are all permanent

The super mines is also a perma spike on “close” meaning ALLL the perma-mines are in the same spot. When the boss walks over the giant dense pile of spikes, it goes thru the entire pierce of the perma spike, exploding as a super mine would every time it loses a pierce. Edit: I could be wrong? Idk how that 10 minute lag spike could’ve happened Edit 2: yeah maybe I was wrong and it had to do with quantum entanglement + the smart spikes buff at the start of the round? Or maybe it was all of these things
This is also why the game lags because it has to calculate all those explosions and dmage instances

Wouldn't have expected this to be possible. Really cool to see this actually work. Also, cool thing I discovered recently, some of the Paragons are able to be messed around with in Sandbox mode now. So far Engineer, Ace and Boomerang Paragons can't be used, but the rest can

Spike mines does good damage and the crosspath with perma spike increased its pierce so it was causing damage spikes
the damage spike happens when a new round starts because the bottom path spike factories get an increased attack speed at the start of a new round

I believe that the reason the perma spike super mines got so much damage is because each pierce of the perma spike causes an explosion. So the pierce of the perma spikes + small super mines explosion + the big super mines explosion for each spike Dreadbloon took.
The lag spike was bcause of the Perma Spike, Spiked Mines. The spikes stacked so much that when it went over the pile it caused the game to lag.
Those spikes in lag are just the boss going over the super dense spike piles
the lag spike happens every time the dreadbloon runs into the supermine perma spike, and each tick of damage done by permaspike inflicted 1 explosion just like how 1 spike on the spikeball would inflict 1 explosion, except on a perma there are much more 'spikes'

I think the lag is due to the “smart targeting” upgrade from spike factory which drastically boosts the attack speed for a few seconds whenever a new round starts
actual correct comment, people are just copying eachother saying its when the boss hits it but it’s because of the start round spam from that upgrade
@@mark-jf5ikIt'll kinda be both, starting a new round makes the tower shoot way faster which means more spikes for the boss / bloons to hit and generate lag from. If the boss is on top of the spactory when this happens then it will lag at the start of a round. He had multiple pspike super mines when the support layer started but that's where the lag stopped because there was no damage to calculate

Actually watch the video from 21:10, if you and payed even the slightest bit of attention, you would notice the absolutely massive spike pile that wasn’t hit by anything that built up spikes over several rounds, and watch when the boss hits it, instant lag spike, then watch after the lag spike when he clicks on the same tower, 13 m pops

the lag is from dread bloon hitting the permaspike piles. each spike has 25 pierce and triggers an explosion for each pierce used, which results in a ton of damage

Ya I don't think it was a bug I think the dreadbloon was just passing the permaspike piles. Like each permaspike had a huge pile, and those spike do explode with supermine damage. I know the sprite is a permaspike one but they are actually supermines.
I'm thinking that maybe the boss running into the big chunk of perma-spike mines causes the lag.
It's definitely the super mines that did all that damage.... they kept having perma-spike effect and stacking for so many rounds
A possible idea for a challenge is top path, middle path, or bottom path vs a boss. That sounds interesting.

Isn't the huge supermine powerspike because Permaspike allows it to prepare 5 rounds worth of spikes, and the lag comes from the boss tamming into the pile all at once, taking rediculous dps?

555 spike factory is almost capable of true soloing elite bosses, so a 515 and 535 spike factory absolutely can demolish one as well
555 spactory can solo probably up to round 450 or something

The damage spikes was when dreadbloon was hitting big piles of perma-supermines because they had been accumulating for many rounds before the boss spawned in and got to the piles
