    • Than you're not familiar with the demands of ray-tracing. The fact that a consumer graphics card can even run this four years after the introduction of the technology into gaming cards is mindblowing. Tech demos have rarely been representative of what actual games will be doing that generation, but this gives us an idea of what we can expect in another generation or two.

    • @@Claydood I thought the 4090 was listed at $1599 which is very reasonable if you ask me. Remember these complement the 3000 series while stocks last so I don't think you are going to see much cheaper 4000 series cards for a while as the top-end is pretty competitively priced given the 3090 Ti was $1999, considerably more than the 4090.

  • The sounds and landing and suspension and physics of the RC cars is accurate to me, I have a 1/8 .28 nitro buggy which I race around the yard and they plop on the ground after a jump just like this.

  • Somebody talking about the Re-Volt remastered, but we have a problem... Do you think current owners of Re-Volt can make a Remastered? absolutely not. They promised us a remaster under the name "Re-Volt plus", then they released OG Re-Volt's pay 2 win version as a mobile game under the name Re-Volt 2 . They didn't even bring any new content to the game, they even removed many of iconic cars (Rc Bandit,Humma,Adeon etc...) and features that were in the original game (8 player multiplayer for example). Now tell me, do you still want a Re-Volt remaster from superday (WeGo) ?

  • Video games now look better than pre rendered cutscenes games used to have, some of them even go toe to toe with CGI's from Pixar/Disney. What a time we live in!

  • Physics a little bit simplified to prevent the rc cars from flipping over but this is a visual preview not a game engine preview so it looks very good.

  • Kind of embarrassing that Nvidia managed to delay this tech demo to 2023, they even deleted the article that they *list in the description* to hide the fact that both this and Portal with RTX were supposed to release in November. It’s especially embarrassing for Racer RTX because it’s supposed to show off how Nvidia Omniverse, a collaboration tool, can be used to make development more efficient. Given that they delayed a tech demo by a minimum of two months (we don’t even have a specified month in 2023), it’s telling that the efficiency gains from Omniverse are negligible at best.

    • @@johnclark926 They are supposedly making it into an actual game rather than just a tech demo. Still sucks literally every Nvidia project has seen a delay though. They are suppose to release Project Sol sometime as well.
