I’m living out every college kid’s fantasy today - when Cheech and Chong stop by the kitchen for a little cooking and a lot of conversation. And you guessed it - we light it up. A lot. They’ve got stories to tell and I am here for them all. Plus, we chat movies, merch, and I make birria ramen.

Life was so good back then when humor was ok and people weren’t uptight! Comedy GOLD😊 and Bert you’re awesome too 😂❤

  • When I was in 4th or 5th grade my mom and dad came home from a date night and my dad was laughing so hard. He told me he seen the funniest movie ever made and it was called Up In Smoke. The very next day he went out and bought me the cassette tape from the movie. I was 10 years old. My dad was a huge stoner back in the 70's.

Dave’s not here.” 🤣 Twenty five years later my teenaged son repeated the entire dialogue from the album without missing a single word. I rolled again! 🤣 Next, I remember how Cheech Marin was on Jeopardy and wiped the floor with every challenging celebrity contestant on there! We both rolled off the couch! 😂🤣😅. Cheech and Chong 💁🏼 Inter-Generational entertainment for decades!

  • 1980´s - somewhere in Germany: As teenagers we were watching Cheech and Chong movies over and over again. We had to watch them multiple times to get all the jokes, our English was not (yet) very good. Many years later I am still watching those movies and can´t recommend them enough. They are great, rough, authentic, from the heart - simply legendary on a whole new level.

When I was 10 or 11 and my dad says, “I have a movie you will laugh so hard you’ll piss your pants.” That was when I saw Up in Smoke for the first time. I laughed from start to finish, even if I didn’t fully get the bits.
