I really like that they kept the flaming footsteps from dota 1

Mitko Heaven I tested it out yesterday, they do see the steps, but to them, the trail is far shorter

This is great. My favorite two heroes from dota are now in Dota 2, one after the other. Legion Commander and Terrorblade were the heroes I learned the game on.

Changes to Terrorblade have been made since this video was released. This list will contain those changes (not including number changes, since they are very frequent) Reflection: Now affects all enemies in a 900 radius around Terrorblade. To balance this the slow has been greatly reduced, and it no longer reduces attack speed. Conjure Image: The enemies of Terrorblade can now tell him apart from the illusions created by this spell. Metamorphosis: Now gives an aura to Terrorblade. This aura will make all of his illusions have Metamorphosis affect them. This allows you to create illusions before you cast Metamorphosis. Previously the only way to accomplish this was to spawn the illusions while Terrorblade was affected by Metamorphosis. Before all of you complain about OPOPOPOPOPOP, his ultimate is melee range, has an animation, and he's squishy as fuck. Unless you're playing against a team with no stuns or nukes, this guy is gonna be rekt easily.

***** I admit, that is pretty op, though alot of heroes are pretty damm op during the lane phases. But I think they should lower the slow to 30%/40%/50%/60%. Either that, or give metamorph an attack cap that turns you back into average Terrorblade when you attack enough times.
***** That's only if he faces a lone Offlaner. He can go toe to toe against a lot of midders, but he can't really gank and he can be easily ganked if he goes there, so he has to go safe lane and if he encounters an aggresive trilane, the only thing he can do is cry in a corner while trying to get a few last hits considering he has no nukes and his slow is also almost melee ranged. He's even more supports dependent than other hard carrys in that sense.

Terrorblade has the most amazing sounds ingame, at least imo. The voice over actor done a really great job as always. He is really squishy, bkb is a good choice, if you are against more physical than magic dmg, maybe health increase items are your choice. I've tried some builds, but going for bkb affected my damage not drastically.

Why the fuck is evrryone complaining. You guys are acting like he is a new hero. He is one of the oldest heroes in DotA 1
strong hero during the early games but i would strongly recommend going for a BKB first seeing his one of those heroes which is right clicking are they`re only good at! plus the stuns and nukes and your squishiness soo yeah! building a BKB first and you`ll be a giant unstoppable demon!
Most matches I play as TB i haven't even needed to get a BKB. I don't think people have realized how easy it is to counter him quite yet.
Finally, my main from Dota 1! I'll miss opting out of q for stats but the slow gives him escape potential.
Can't wait to see him on tournament, LoH playing him should be awesome.

In dotA illidan(terrorblade) was actually a badass. A brother of antimage. Everywhere you go he says "I am blind not depth" "Are there demons nearby?" ahh those times man. But they completely remade terrblade with the original skills. Complete bullshit i shsll say

I love playing with my friend with this hero. I pick TB and my friend picks LC. Then once we hit lvl6 i go and let jungle creeps lower my health to 25%,then me and my friend get shadowblade. And after that we just go invis and then i sunder some poor guy and my friend duels him and its a free kill with added bonus damage. Its great.

3 things that will make him Cooler ! 1st give him 1 idle stance that he is sightly stoop and have his arms one infront and one back just some style ( not just attacking and standing so straight). 2nd make that Spin attack animation this made dota 1 terrorblade so awesome with attack speed. 3rd the demon form attacks only moving his upper body , whats wrong with his legs? i mean they are so straight .

Terrorblade is on of the oldest characters in dota so it is great that they finally made him!
a few hints, 1- tb isn't the type of heroes you can trade hits with. metamorphosis would wreck you early on and when you try to escape he will just slow you with reflection. 2- lothar/dagon build is crap TB ain't a nuker he's a verry hard carry. with your insane agility growth and damage from metamorphosis. you're a walking fast attacking tower. 3- terrorblade has 435 hp at lvl 1 . thats LULZY for a melee hero. lion/ lina/ warlock/ mirana/ skywrath mage/ SHADOW DEMON (poison) will make him cry real tears early on. 4- sunder can go trough magic immunity .this doesn't mean you should get linken against him. because reflection uses up linken and goes trough it. 5- reflection CAN be used on roshan . this will greatly decrease his attack speed (i guess 1-2 hits over the whole 5 seconds). illusions can't attack roshan however they can be used to tank his hits using to MOVE command. 6- the best item build on him is : power treads - manta style - eye of skadi - butterfly - deadlus ( or w/e its called in dota2, i'am a dota1 player :p ) - and satanic if possible. * in range form skadi is a buff placer and not an orb effect so you can use it along with satanic." i hope that was helpful (:

I really hate Valve for dumbing down the original design and sell it as an arcana. This version looks almost like crap compared to the arcana version. And also, the arcana version shits on both Shadow Fiend and Nightstalker, which are one of many heroes that require an updated model.
Yea, this is true. I'm sad. It's ok for them to want to earn more money(i.e making more hats), but to dumb down the hero's original look for that is just too much... I'm afraid they will continue doing this. Since it already happened to LC and TB.

Valve's original plan was to make new Heroes DLC that required money for you to download. However they understood how much of a horrible idea that was, so they decided to market arcana sets along with the new heroes at high prices. So in other words people are still paying for the new heroes releases just by buying their new arcana sets. The same will happen with more new heroes that will be released.
I just really really don't like that ranged attack particle effect. It's slow and it looks almost like tinkers one.

Well, if LoL players stopped using the term MOBA, that would be a start. It's the worst abbreviation for a genre ever, made up by Riot because "Dota-clone" doesn't have a good ring to it. "Multiplayer online battle arena" Doesn't apply to Dota because it's not strictly online, you are battling in an arena, but that applies to every multiplayer game in which you try to kill each other. Dota is an "Action RTS", a strategy game with total focus on micro management of one or more units.
S. Kells lol is infinitely easier to get into if your new to the moba genre then dota is. just strictly based on the fact that lol has been designed to be such a meta game that even if your not good at doing it with no clue how to play, you at least know what you should be doing for whatever role your playing. Also lol champs toolkits are much much more homogenized so you end up with a lot of older champs never really being used once a newer one comes out with a more relevant skill set comes out. long story short if what I wrote is tl;dr is that a complete noob in lol has a lot easier time learning the game and contributing to a game then a complete noob at dota
That's basically the entire argument. LoL is more or less babu's first MOBA, whereas DOTA is much more complex, and in so much more fun, IF you actually learn the game.

SpeeDyG GozaLeS morphed size is fine if they just shrink down mele form just by little and seven maybe size down blades they look quite large too.
Even though I like him this way because it makes him look dominant and stuff compared to other heroes, I still agree with you that the melee model could be a little bit smaller which will also make the demon form look bigger when you use the metamorphosis.
