When we went to visit Egypt, we toured St Sergius and was told that the cave below the stairs was a resting place for them. As we wandered by bus through Egypt and through the Sinai Peninsula, I often thought of how the Holy Family could have traveled through that unforgiving endless desert. Some wrote that the Holy Family most likely traveled with a caravan and not by themselves. Anyways, thanks so much for this video. I had no idea that there were so many other locations that the Coptics continue to honor as places of refuge for our Holy Family. Our God did not destroy Egypt after the Jews left because He alone knew that Egypt will be provide refuge and homes for our Lord, the one and only King.

Beautiful.... this is a message to all youth, Christian's and muslims : start to arrange trips / tours to Egyptioans and tourists for the path of the holy family on Egypt. Link emotionally all the Christian's of the world to pilgrimage in Egypt. Israel income from pilgrimage is above 40 billions a year, saudia Arabia income from pilgrimage is above 50 billion a year. All tourist companies in Egypt, bus companies, hotels , restaurants , etc... will benefit and can set a new income......This is better than discovering gold ......❤

Two pieces of information worth correction; Joseph the Carpenter is not Jesus's father(as 8:26) and Jesus did not return back to Egypt after resurrection to consecrate the altar at Deir El Muharraq (12:05). I just read in the Secrets of the Holy Face book by Father Carney that when Jesus, Mary and Joseph were in Egypt they had to witness people worshipping and sacrificing to pagan gods. Sometimes Jesus would glance at these temples of idolatry and would cause them to come crashing to the ground. Joseph and Mary witnessed him do this many times.

It is only fiction. The family never went to egypt. There was never a persecution of Herod. According to Luke the family went back from Jerusalem to Nazareth,which did not even exist at that time. But believers like holy fictions.
They gone to Egypt there're many proofs say this specially the tree which still bowed until today and if they didn't they would be killed by the romans Egyptian Christians who are one of the first Christians in the world know all those stories and those places are holy for them and there're many monuments from the story been kept and hide for so long..
It is written in the Bible that an angel appeared to Joseph to flee to Egypt & once again an angel told Joseph to go back to Jerusalem
Had Jesus existed, Christianity would not have existed, as Jesus would have been faithful only to the Judaism preached in that era, where it was said that as a baby Jew, he was born perfect. You just can't improve on perfection, by suggesting that Jesus, in his later life on earth, supported the new religion of Christianity. That would be supporting a lie.
There is zero evidence that Jesus ever went to Egypt. Matthew's Nativity is pure mythology based on the Nativity of Moses, which is also pure mythology based on the nativity of Sargon, which is also pure mythology.
If he didn't go to Egypt so the story won't go and he would be killed by the romans and the places he stayed in Egypt still exist until today specially the holly tree where mary hided from the romans and the tree bowed to cover her and still in this position until today

Read it straight through. Find out what's actually in it. You should also find out something about form criticism, source criticism, redaction criticism, historical and textual criticism, literary criticism and comparative mythology. You have no idea how little you know.
