  • Arabic is the only language that you can sing a over 700 year old song and people will still be able to understand what you’re saying, we can’t do that with other languages we can’t understand English from 200 years ago.

    • @@mohammadeskandari4385 no modern Farsi is almost completely different from the original. During Islamic golden age all parts of the Islamic empire spoke Arabic which really had an effect on Farsi like changing the whole alphabet to an Arabic one after going back to Farsi. Edit: I speak Farsi.

    • The song is in Moroccan Arabic what Lebanese are u talking about, may be the voice but fyi this song over 1k years old his name is lissanou Edin el khatib who wrote it as a poem and was later tuned in the late 1500s with Andalusian style which made it just perfect his mausoleum is in fez, Morocco.
