He did good but it was not enough. His opponent defended all of his takedown attempts and the 1st round moment was big. Alvarez shoud retire. I dont see him beating the top fighters of his division.

yeah but at least the fight against Iuri was changed to an NC instead, plus he looked great in that fight despite the illegal strikes and still looked good in this back and forth fight here against OK that could have gone either way, imo he is still competitive

Eddie take down attempts were unnecessary. He was amazing with jabs. He was always landing. The takedown attempts were a waste of energy and time that he didn't have after the first round
I agree. He could've gone toe to toe with his opponent. He's also shaken up by eddie's strikes.

I donno how u can say that at all....he got dropped n than immediately went into guard n defending Hammer fists. If he was out in the 1st, then how did he manage to finish the rest of the fight? Lol. Like this isn't even a matter of opinion, if there was no ref, Eddie would still b able to survive n make it to the end, which he did.

He only starts defending after loosing a ton of brain cells. Sure he came back into the fight because Eddie is tough as nails but this fight would have rightfully been stopped in the UFC

1라는 확실히 가져왔는데 2라3라 케이지 중앙 알바레즈가 한번을 안내어주고 레슬링압박계속하고 유효타수도 그렇게 누가 우위다할게 없었는데 ufc룰이었으면 알바레즈가 최소스플릿이라도 가져갔을듯 원챔십은 본적거의 없어서 채점기준을 잘모르겠네
원챔피언쉽에선 타격제외 포인트가 없다함
1라는 논외로 하고 2라도 알바레즈가 딱히 우위라곤 못할듯, 유효타도 옥래윤이 많은거 같고 테잌다운 시도했어도 한번도 성공을 못시켰고 그렇다고 레슬링 상황에서 컨트롤을 하고 있는것도 아니고

It was incredible to see Eddie come back and dictate the pace after the first round but he he needed to secure one of those takedowns I feel like.
알바레즈의 노련함, 옥래윤의 침착함이 돋보인 경기. 양측 모두 집중력과 투지는 두말할 것도 없고.. 다만 라운드별 채점제에 익숙해서인지 개인적으로는 알바레즈 승리 쪽에 마음이 기운다. 어찌됐든 멋진 경기였고 특히 옥래윤 선수는 멋진 승리 축하드립니다.
거기다가 테이크다운후 타격 안하면 점수가 없다고하네요 룰상 ufc였다면 스플릿이 나오지않았을까 합니다

That should of been stopped as soon as the ref jumped in 1 cm away from the action to stop it then decided he was a star and didn't stop it. Plus he was hanging on the fence to look at action with his hands close to the fighters it was embarrassing reffing. Yeah Jorge masvidal might of come back when he got knocked out then woke up after the next punch but you stop the fight to preserve their brain ffs eddie on the other hand gets dropped multiple times In most fights he needs to retire or he ain't gonna be able to string a sentence together.
@@Jackcroasdale92 WIthout even arguing about the morals, You could just respect Eddie's and his coaches choices to continue. That was exceptionally good reffing, Dude realized Eddie was still there and wasn't afraid to stop himself froms topping the fight, was about to stop it again but Eddie told him repeatedly "i'm ok, i'm ok", he respected his choice and Eddie could have easily made a comeback if the fighter was of any lesser caliber. At no point do those fighter choose this sport to preserve their brain, it's quite the opposite they all want to become champion and keep on reigning as long as they can witch equates to alot of brain damage however you turn it. They choose this sport to try to be the best, Eddie wasn't the best tonight but stopping the fight would've robbed him of any chance.

It's up to the refs to stop eddie getting hurt more than he already is ps eddie pays his coaches they are obviously gonna let him stay In there they see him getting dropped daily in sparring more than likely. Long and short of this comment is eddie is done and needs to retire getting dropped in every fight is not the way to go about being a champion weather you agree with the reffing or not your just blind if you don't agree how much he takes damage in comparison to the top guys he's in wars with everyone where as most champions yeah have 1 or 2 wars. Then fight with a gameplan to not get hit. IE PRESERVE THE BRAIN.

Not sure if I’m a fan of scoring the whole fight rather than each round. Could just defend for the 1st 2 then swing on the guy in the 3rd when he’s tired to get a damage win, and obviously if that guy has the same plan nothing happens. Seems to favour vets like Eddie when you can win back ground each round, rather than be miles behind from a knockdown in the first
