And it's not even a sort of "hostile" politeness either where it's masqueraded intent behind candied words.. he's just the type of guy you WANT to return the politeness to because he seems just genuinely pleasant. Even in his prime fighting age he still had this aura of kindness and respect and you could get this verified by each interview after the fights where he showed respect to opponents. I shaved this morning. When I finished watching this video, I had grown a full beard.
Most new fans won’t realise how much of a beast this guy is
Dan Severn was the "beast". Don was the "predator". Didn't age well lol Thanks for not saying "...how much a Predator this guy is."
Was a monster.
Wtf happened to this guy?
@@ufcknockouts07 ummmmm it’s called aging maybe????
@@ufcknockouts07 Monster was Randleman
Always a big Don Frye fan. Never heard him speak before, even bigger fan now.
Go watch his Ufc Hof speech! Youll dig it
You should watch his acceptance speech when he was put into the ufc hall of fame
#metoo
@@Mark_87 what 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Don is my favorite fighter of all time. The sure determination that man is able to muster. Hats of to Mr Frye!
This man was always meant for greatness and to be a hero wether it be saving lives as a firefighter or inspiring ppl in the octogon. Imagine if he joined special forces
Joe “ how did you get into the UFC?” Don “ let me tell you about the decline of the textiles industry “
😂🤣😅🤣😂 thats fukn funny!!!
Got a genuine laugh from this one. I believe that Don has taken some head shots over the years...
He forgot the question after about 6 seconds you can see the moment on his face. Then he finally comes around back to it when he answers the fire fighter question
@@Blake953 I don’t think his stroke he had helped , he never used to sound like that either !! His had a full on life and to be honest I could of listened to him ramble on about his life for hours . Not sure about him fighting Francis tho 😂😂😂
Ha!
Joe asked one question and got 33 and a half different stories. Don's a real dude.
Joe had to pull him back on track a few times!
Ive watched all of Don Frye's recorded fights he's my favorite of the pioneer fighters for sure
This guy is a true warrior
Don Frye is such an amazing person that it's as if he isn't even real. He's the greatest movie character that Hollywood couldn't even create. How is this guy NOT a household name? Legend.
He is if you were watching the early days of ufc
He is in my house. Grew up watching him fight in pride.
Don should be making western movies.
@@TheAnonymous1one he was in Godzilla!
i commend you for this comment
Don Frye has a grizzly bear carpet in his living room, the bear's not dead it's just afraid to move
Awesome!
Lmaooooo Holy shit!!!! Lololol
🤣🤣👏👏👏
That's great,too funny!
Recycled chuck Norris joke but it actually fits don better
The legendary Don Frye, a badass if there ever was one. But at the same time nobody would be more fun to sit down and talk to.
I'm glad to see don is okay. Was worried for him a bit there a couple years back.
This guy looks and sounds like he found and built America all by himself. Edit: love yall ❤️
Did you know Joe Rogan has a rap song? It’s too funny! It’s called elk meat and DMT 😂 😂 look it up!

@CymroGoch you sir just got bamboozled! 🤡 Acha-cha-cha
lmao
"Can I please borrow your lighter?" "Thank you, sir." Polite Frye.
You ever heard him talk about the ppl he's beat? Guy is class
A true gentleman
An armed society is a polite society.
He's at the pinnacle, humanity doesn't get better. Absolute chad.
To me he is a genuine example of a proper Chad. Polite, yet doesn't have to be because he can practically whoop your ass for the same result AND then some without breaking a sweat. He is what any man should aspire to become.. though preferably with less pain.
Thankyou and sir ...this is the man.
If anything this interview shows how much of a polite respectful person don is
This dude is a different type of strong. He fought in a time with no weight classes or time restrictions and won a title. He's as hard as 50$ jawbreaker
He's as hard as a coffin nail.
Tougher than a 3$ steak
@@CaptCropz Stronger than flex seal
As hard as Chinese math
Just watched the Akebono fight. Having that massive man leaning on you the whole time had to be exhausting.
Straight awesome !! What an American legend !!! 🎉
My favorite fighter if all time. Rented every vhs i could get my hands on. A living legend.
Joe: Tell me how you got into the UFC Don: No, I dont think I will.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Haha
😂
😂😂😂😂😂. Omg these comments are hilarious
"Beneath his mustache, there is no lip. Only another fist!"
I was casually scrolling down and reading the coments and this one legit made me laugh
If I'm being honest it's a family guy joke about Chuck Norris. But, Don Frye is the guy Chuck Norris calls after he has a bad dream to come over and check under his bed and in his closet for monsters... and the ghost of R. Lee Ermey.
🤣🤣🤣
Lol
Chuck Norris beard joke, not original. Judges scorecards show a slap to your mum is needed.
That was awesome, what a regular dude. Talking to a legend!!
Gotta love Don. His mentality, attitude and the heart of a lion. Don was a freakin beast💪
He sounds EXACTLY the way he looks.
I heard that when he was 9, he gave his dad "the talk"
😂

This is a humble man answering a man that host.. he is a real beast. Tyson scared the shit out of this guy. I look for people like this. U only get 1 chance to learn from them in a generation. If he ever said I'd train u I'd drop my job, and go with it. U only get one chance like Tyson with cus. I'd follow ever damn thing he said
These comments are gold. Good job fellas. Im crying Im laughing so hard
😂😂😂😂 I know. F😂cking hilarious 🤣
Truer words have never been...
The best
Sound like a cowboy dying in his partners arm's with a gunshot wounds in the chest, "I know i wasn't much of a talker, but...let me just tell you my story before i go.."
Damn that's poetic and scarily accurate.
LMAO
He's needed on red dead redemption lol
do you mean his pardner
Hahhaahahahahahahahhahahaha
Mr.Frye is a living legend.
Wow .. don sure can stretch a story with name drops .. love the guy , underrated and the takayama fight is the best ever
