I just escaped my abuser at 1-3am, June 14th, 2022. The 26th of this month would've been our 5 year anniversary, we were engaged. I bought the dress and everything. It was set for July 1st, 2023. He accused me of cheating on him with my bsf- so he got drunk. And started a fight. And when I wouldn't "confess" to "cheating" on him and stood my ground.... he decided it would've been great to put his hands on me again. So I made sure... that was the last time I let him ever abuse me.... I had a choice- answer my moms phone call--- or send it to voicemail for her to call the cops like she said she would do if I didn't answer- or... answer.... and say nothings wrong. And spend another 5 years being punched, thrown, slapped, choked, strangled, bitten, assaulted, dragged by my wrists, my hands, and my hair- called horrible names, accused of everything I never did. Treated like trash.. . . . . I didn't answer my moms phone call. And as I waited for the cops. His cold, empty look, empty cold words. One second blaming me, the second telling me to call my mom to get the cops to go away then right back to a cold empty look of disgust. "Do you even love me?!" "pathetic bitch" "Wow." I was so scared I cried out for my mom. And I'm not close to her.... he's tried to kill me so many times- the things I went through just so I could've called him mine. The things he did. I hope I was his favorite crime.

Literally!! There's just an overwhelming urge to listen to all of the songs at the same time, although I'm glad we can't do that, otherwise the first time listening would be over so quickly. This entire album is phenomenal 😭
