You look good, things coming along nicely for you. Thanks for sharing your experiences
appreciate that man 🙏
Looks good man!
Great video buddy. First time I’ve actually seen fibres used looks awesome. I’m 8 days post transplant myself done at the Vera clinic also. Happy so far.
thats great news man!
Looking perfectly natural
Your looking great bro.
appreciate that!
Looking good bro 👌👌
Nice video 👍🏻
Great video man! You starting to remind me of Bruno Fernandes the soccer player lol, your end results are gonna be great!
hahahahahahah thanks man thats a great compliment! To be honest, lots of my friends have said the same lolll
Thx bro!✌️😊
Do the hair fibres stick to the scalp? Do you think using them during the recovery/growth phase of a HT affects the final result?
they do! I've never had to use hair sprays or anything to get them to stick. I think if you use them at least 3-4 months after your transplant its fine, thats what i did!
Looks great and in a few months not a single hair fiber is going to be needed. As for the bald area on the crown, just get it done and it will probably be around 1000/1200 grafts and you're good to go forever.
thanks man! and yes thats the plan, hopefully it will be around that many grafts!
Hi mate. How long does the bottle last supposing you apply every other day? Let's admit I shower my hair every three days, is it fine to leave the fibres on my scalp until I shower 🚿..? Thanks
1 bottle of those fibres lasted me about 2-3 months. I also dont use it everyday so i try to make it last as long as possible. I would recommend showering before heading to bed so your head is clean from all that. i used to leave it on while i slept before i got my hair transplant and the next morning there was just fibre powder everywhere, it was a messy scene. Since my hair is still growing, i rather be clean every day i wake up, so i would totally recommend to make sure u shower after your usage of the fibres on the same day!
Guys, two doctors have told me that one month after transplant is more than enough time to wait.
Hi Amit does using hair fiber damage the new growing hair follicles after a hair transplant? Would love your answer thanks.
it does not damage any growing follicles after a hair transplant! But if you leave it on without washing it daily it will block the hair growth so just be mindful to keep your scalp clean from it before heading to bed
@@amitposthair Thanks so much for your good reply, will do the needful.
Do you not apply hair spray after using hair fibers ? If not applied would the date fibers not get affected with no external factors like wind ?
i do not! wint is not usually a factor, the fibres stick on pretty well to your hear and hair
Hi there! Did you use hair fibers almost everyday after 3 mos post HT?
Not every day! But whenever I was going out for functions or whatnot. I'd usually stick with using a hat if I didn't feel like using fibres that day
How ong did you waited after HT to be back to hair fiber? I’m a month post op now, and just started using to hide the shedding a little.
i waited around 3 months!
This gives me hope ! 😊 I plan on using the fibres 2-3 weeks after having my transplant... do you think this would be possible? Is there any chance it can damage the HT btw?
@@danielhodgson5391 I would wait a few months tbh. The fibres can prevent your grafts from growing properly if you are applying them so soon. It's because of how you have to wash them off after, it can affect your grafts at that early stage. I'd recommend waiting at minimum of 3 months!
What spray you use to keep the fibers on place ?
i dont use any spray actually! It just naturally sticks on
Can we put hair fibers on after a transplant? I’m getting one in 3 months so I’ve wondered how long u have to wait to apply it
Yes! I waited 3 months as mentioned in the video!
I've heard from people not to use hair fibers post a HT.. any thoughts 😕
Same, but he's a few months in... should be fine for a once in a while not every day thing... following!
what Tyler said was right, you can only really start using them a few months after your surgery. The clinic recommended around the 5-6 month mark, but im at my 4 month mark. i am not using it everyday, but only when i really need to, for example, attending a wedding or a birthday party. Other than that, I try to not use it as often! But also I read up its not harmful to your hair or your hair transplant, so using them is still fine, just moderately. The point of getting the hair transplant was to one day stop using them, so this is just temporary.
Hey don’t forget some spray to hold that fiber!!!!!
Haha it actually stays on pretty well without any sprays for me!
Is it okay to use concealers and hair fibers 3 weeks post HT?
3 week is too early!
Shall we buy hair fiber after Hair transplant? I have done hair transplant 1 n half month back, i want to use the hair fiber, but i am afraid that if i put fiber in the transplanted area, Regrowth hair which was put might not come?? Is it true or i can use hair fiber in transplanted area ?
It is true that you can use hair fibres on your transplanted areas, but i would noy use it as often until afrer 6 months. I would recommend you can start using it after 3 months. Give your transplanted hair some time to grow out before starting to use fibres. Once you get some of your original hair growing back too its easier to blend in together. My clinic recommended after 6 months but I've been using it after 3 and it's been fine for me so far.
How long after your procedure did you have to wait to be able to apply the hair fibers?
i waited 3 months !
@@amitposthair did your doctor say that was the time that you had to wait? I’m just curious bc I’ve seen other doctors who said it’s safe to use the fibers after 10 days post procedure
@@kkuderer5 they actually told me to wait 6 moths, but i ended up doing it at 3 months and it was completely fine. I personally just dont think it makes sense to apply it so soon after your transplant only because you want your new hairs to breath and not be blocked by the fibres that early on in your hair journey
@@amitposthair yeah. I would have to agree. Probably not worth it too early after. Too risky after paying all that money for the procedure.
How was the vera clinic. What was the cost?
I actually have a full video on how much I paid for the hair transplant! You can find that here: kzhead.info/sun/pMyNZbGAb4ecn4k/bejne.html But overall the experience of my time at Vera wasn't too bad, but also was not perfect. I have a video explaining in detail here as well: kzhead.info/sun/e9emXcxpa5mGYJs/bejne.html
I was wondering if it was safe n healthy for the new hair area
it is! as long as your dont over do it, and prfeerably start using it after 3 months!
@@amitposthair Well.. 3 months is when it begins to look normal. Mostly 4 months and after, but I was curious about the beginning, after a month or two, when it really looks messed up
@@x3merx3mer the clinics advise you not to use it so soon as it can black your hair growth from the new trnasplanted hairs that early after your procedure
How soon after your transplant were you able to use hair fibers?
Just saw, 3 months 👍🏼
@@JusFig haha yes i started after 3 months! i may start sooner this time around though, will post an update about that soon!
How soon after a hair transplant can you use hair fibres?
i started using it after 3 months!
How long after a transplant can we wear fibres?
the clinic recommeneded after 6 months but I started weatring it after 3, and it was completely fine!
i think you being bald complete isnt that bad. You have a good head for it/ You should try to shave completly
appreciate that man! I did consider it, but I also waned to go through with thsi and try it out at least. So far its been good, and I do like the look of hair on my head. But maybe in the future i'll try rocking a shaved look if all else fails haha
@@amitposthair Maan just shave it man. Its no problem at all in your case. I have quite big size ears that is really a problem for being bald. Thats why iam on finasteride since a couple of weeks
Which color you buy for the fibers? I have a similar hair color so I am curious (dark brown or black?) I’m between both
I usually use black! I've played around with dark brown too but for the majority of my time using it, i've used black more
@@amitposthair Thanks buddy :) Will give black a go (this can sound very wrong :D )
@@amitposthair For public knowledge as well I got to know about hair concealers (dermmatch, etc) and apparently it is a thing now! I will give that a go and try out
@@amitposthair how long after a transplant can we use fibres
@@spaceboispeed I was told by the clinic I could use it after 6 months, but i started after 3 months and it was completely fine
loved the video I also am posting my hair transplant journeys so love seeing yours but also I would love to send you my hair fibers for free to try if you are interested?
Appreciate the offer! However, i've been using this brand for as long as I can remember and it goes well with my scalp and skin. I've tried others but they usually give me irritations. So I'll just stick to this as it works best for me! P.s. saw some of your videos, great progress for you as well!
Looks great, but eventually your gonna take a swim somewhere or walk in the rain like you said, so hopefully you banish fibers forever. Like my hair transplant, my goal is banish them forever, I don't even want to look at one.
I've been pretty good with how I used to wear it, always avoiding the rain or just not putting my head in the water. But i agree, the goal is to one day not use them, but it definitely does help for now during this growing process on days i need to show up without wearing a hat haha
@@amitposthair offcourse you can't wear a hat everywhere, but still so much growth coming your way, it's growing, well done.
Hair fibers are a love/hate relationship… Used them for more than 5 years and got sick of them. I would consider using them as you just for the first few months but I don’t even want to be close to one. They are messy.
😒 p͎r͎o͎m͎o͎s͎m͎
Dude get the spray fibres instead, much easier and better.
ive tried that! but it wasnt for me. The fibre powder works best for my scalp!
