I’m not disputing Shane’s boxing knowledge and experience as a coach but it’s clear that him and his father are snakes. This isn’t some media narrative. This has come from multiple fighters mouths and is common knowledge within the boxing community.

I was shocked how bitter the split between Frampton and the mguigan's was. Seeing a clip of Shane slagging off Carl to his face in a hotel corridor after their split showed me the mguigans bare grudges with a passion. Good coach however with a tried and tested formula of success.

I was a huge fan of Barry McGuigan growing up, met him once at a social event and he was a lovely fella. But after reading Frampton’s book and listening to various interviews its hard to believe the McGuigans. There are issues stated as facts in Framptons book that would never have got past the lawyers if they werent provable, likewise if they werent true the McGuigans would have sued. Even Barry believed having the same organisation as Manager, Promoter and Trainer shouldnt be allowed yet thats exactly what he does.
But they will not sue Sunny

The weird thing about this is. When multiple fighters over the years are saying stuff about Shane and his family and their is a common pattern then something isn't right. Its kind of dumb to ask adam that he rates Shane highly. Of course he is going to say positive things. We know adam was above average by fighting low skilled opponents both in amateurs and in pros already and Shane has seen an early cash cow so adam and his brother came as a package. In terms of ability of adam he hasn't improved that much. Shane did not create adam from scratch nor a lot of his fighters. I have had dealings in early days of adam and where he is now is not where he should be. If I have someone the same height, build and speed and style as adam and we don't have Shane to train that style. Then how good of a trainer is he? Let that sink in...
It’s not a narrative, narratives are pushed, it’s not pushed. Unfortunately it’s whispers. No smoke without fire and Shane is only reacting because someone with a high profile has spoken. All Shane and Barry need to do is be straight and squeaky clean from here on. Obviously a great gym.

It's not just about going to court with only one fighter,it's deeper than that. Josh Taylor talked about how the Mcguigans put him up in the shittiest hotels and he talked about how the team went off to train abroad without asking Josh to go and they never left keys to the gym. Josh was staying in London at the time on his own and he also said Shane would never even drop up to him to make sure he was doing OK. This is how they treated an undisputed champion. The ripping Carl off of millions is as dishonest as it goes and Carl was supposedly like family to them.
His dad Barry is and has always been a wrong un. Even in his business dealings away from boxing.
