Rwanda bill: Government expecting legal challenges as bill passes
Illegal migration minister Michael Tomlinson has told Sky News that he is expecting legal challenges from migrants facing deportation to Rwanda.
The government's bill is set to become law after the Lords decided they would no longer oppose it.
"We want flights to get off the ground as soon as possible, but there are certain steps that need to happen between now and then," Mr Tomlinson said.
But he added it is "inevitable" there will be "challenges" to the legislation.

This government is absolutely insane.. If the very real possibility of drowning in the channel does not deter migrants then how do they think spending millions of pounds to rehouse them under African skies in an achingly beautiful country like Rwanda is going to deter anyone? If anything it will encourage more people to come here in the hope of being relocated. They should offer a similar scheme to UK residents, I'm sure many would leave for sunnier climes to escape this madhouse.
The vastly overpopulated United Kingdom is in such a serious state of decline and decay in so many different areas and this mass invasion of immigrants is contributing massively, detrimentally and negatively to the myriad of problems we as a nation are now confronted with.

Will be interesting to see which, if any, commercial airline provides planes for this abhorrent scheme. I, for one, would boycott that airline and, am sure, others would do the same.
Why not give asylum seekers in France ferry tickets to stop them using dangerous boats. It would save lives and they would still be processed eventually. The people smugglers would soon go out of business.

Well thats what we get for leaving the Dublin Agreement.... Which allowed us to stage UK police officers in Calais (France sacrificed sovereignty for that,) Also allowed us to return unauthorised refugee's to France (Tory's hardly ever used that protocol). But Brexit ended that, so EU agreements were made void, our police came home. Thats what brexiters voted for.

ALL politicians will use rhetoric and generalizations because there is no answer as long as our national and international laws remain which are so out of date. In any case what is to stop migrants refusing to use seat belts while on an aircraft and stand up walking around the aircraft verbally abusing the stewards and under those conditions NO PILOT WOULD TAKE OFF. Blame health and safety or international laws but pilots return home while in flight with one difficult passenger.
