It's not always above the line for every fighter in every fight. If you have your shorts hiked way up then the ref is supposed to allow punches on the belt.
True because it has nothing to do with where the trunks are it has to do with where you belly button is and it comes down to the ref discretion which he should lay out before the fight. With Usyk and DD the ref told DD before the fight any shots landed on the belt line are illegal and to not have your belt line too as we saw on the leaked video. So DD walks into the ring with his trunks a half foot higher than Usyks and still throws belt shots haha.@@NyQuilDonut

Hunter lucky the ref didn't determine it a stoppage. He was getting bounced around at the end.
The fight should have absolutely been stopped because of how many undefended shots landed, Usyk wasn't trying to put him down he was trying to land clean to get the stoppage. Regardless this fight is a classic and made me a fan of Usyk because of how he finished the fight I knew then he had different levels to him then other boxers.

Usyk is boxing's ultimate road warrior, & as an added bonus, he can really fight. A true world champion who fights anywhere.
Usyk wants his opponents to atack early on giving them hope that if they try a litle harder they will be able to damadge him. By round 4-6 they get tired and when Usyk feels this he goes into offence. In round 7 Usyk litterally steps back into the corner to provoke Hunter to throw punches. Even the comentator notoced this. A funny comment by the end of round 7. The comentator is concerned about Hunter not holding his arms up. Mr. Comentator, this is is what happens when a boxer is tired to the point where holding the gloves up is too hard as they feel too heavy… Props to Hunter for a good fight. The peoppe who expected him to „pick up the pace in the last rounds” do not understand what has been happening in the ring and how tired he was at this point. Michael is a great great boxer. Full respect to the man. He took a similar aproach to Belew to try and damadge Usyk in the begining rounds. When this did not materialise and he understood what Usyk is doing he became a little bit more cotious but it was too late.
He gives up too many rounds, this won’t work against fury at 100%. But usky is already a HOFer.
@@realmuzfi Fury is bigger, taller, heavyer and far less fit. Fury mitigates these shortcumings by forcing his opponents to atack him while he himself falls into clinches after most punches to regain stamina. Fury avoids heavy punches especially in the first half of the fight for the very same reason and why he mostly counterpunches. Fury understands his limitations and he tricks his opponents into fighting him „the wrong way” by agresivly changing at him trying to KO him. Fury tires quickly and this usually costs him to slow down and make mistakes. His opponents by this time are also gassed. They manage to land punches on him but the punches have far less power then people think but are enough to KO him due to exhaustion. Fury is able to do the same thing on an axhausted oppoenent. Usyk trains to fight 15 5 minutes rounds…He also often slows down to ramp the pace later to trick his opponent and lul him into a false sence of security. Johny Nelson put it well he fights well with his abilities. And if he goes full throtle he will be unstopable. The thing is he does not go full throtle against every opponent and boxer in a way that allows him to win comftarbly. Despite what many casuals say Usyk has fought opponents that tries a veriaty of tactics against him and nothing has worked so far. Belew tries to outpace Usyk and gassed himself out. Chisora tries to power preasure and wrestle Usyk and gassed himself out. AJ tries to outbox and in the second fight overpower and ruf Usyk up and it did not work. N the second fight AJ tried to lean on Usyk and overpower him physically pushing and pinning him towards the roaps. Usyk picked him up and moved him away. Size and power can substitute gaps in skill to some extent but when you are up against a master boxer that knows tbe ins ant out of boxing that knows the fundamantals by hart and goes against them to surprise you it will be a long hard, grooling and frustrating night that is both physically, intelectualy and psychologically demanding.

You don’t know boxing at all and I can tell. Usyk couldn’t be technical with hunter like he did Aj or DD or bellew or Daniel D all uk flat foot, power puncher fighters who don’t have any boxing skills, footwork. Hunter is a African American fighter. African American style is the only style that can rival and beat Usyk style. Usyk was struggling to outbox hunter so he abandoned boxing and started walking him down and going to body. The body work slow hunter down then Usyk went to the head to win by UD.

Hunter didn’t have the gas tank and that is what defeated him.
No Usyk is just the better fighter and that's what beat him. If you knew anything about Usyk you'd know that he often starts slower and goes through the gears and if you were observant you also would've noticed that Usyk made an adjustment and took control after he started going to town on Hunter's body which not only hurt him but took a lot of the steam out of him
