He never shaved his beard once in a decade, but he still manged to do it like a professional.
He literally is
@@Pigen_ ohh i didn't know😂
He also has a decade of experience shaping and trimming the beard. It doesn't naturally grow like "the lumberjack"
@@thatsalot3577 *know...:)
@@NTPEnjoyer yeah yeah i forgot you can't use 2 past tense verbs in one sentence.😅
This video really helped. Ive grown my first full beard this year and it was getting out of control, especially on the sides. Been wanting to shape a ducktail for a while and this guide helped me achieve it
“ do not shave for 4weeks” .... brother it’s been 24 years of not shaving and it’s still patchy
TomNJerry I couldn't grow a beard till I was 23. It's all down to genetics however testosterone helps. If it's still patchy, you could shape it up or let it grow for 2 years and use beard balm.
yeah this dude doesn't understand some people just can't have full beards. There's nothing worse than someone having patchy beard where you can see their whole cheeks and jaw through it. Just shave it off and go with another look.
Try applying minoxidil to your face. It's not a miracle drug, but it will allow you to grow more hair on your face.
It's been 27 years for JJ and his beard still is patchy. Shot-out to KSI!
then shave, preferably with a razor, I was stuck with small patches but every time id shave a little bit more would come out, 21 now and there is just tiny bits with baby hairs but after 3 weeks or so they are almost unnoticable.
"Hello Chin, wow I'm glad there's still only 1" 😆 that had me dying.
It had me dying inside because when i did the same recently i found two :(
@@Sumarbrander Cancer?
@@johnyoutuber9781 imagine chin cancer lmfao
Probably is joke but cancer can form anywhere. And yes, chin cancer is quite funny for some reason.
@@theoreoman4597 yeah but cancer is only dangerous when formed in the organs, if it forms in the meat then just cut it off lol
me watching this: ah yes nice, will be trying these out soon my "beard": approximately six hairs on the left side of my chin
Hopefully it shall grow in eventually
Love the advice at the end for those who want to grow beards. When I used to grow out a beard, I had no idea that leave-in conditioners and beard oils could be used on short beards to avoid the itchy phase as well. It makes a huge difference.
this man rocked every single one of those looks though wow.
Except the without a beard look!

Everybody is talking about his beard, BUT LOOK AT THAT JAW
I have a beard because I have no jawline, while this dude is hiding his chiseled jawline. Too bad we can’t trade lol
Fr tho
BUT LOOK AT THAT JAW -said no one ever- Victor Dec 2020
Perfect jawline for having a mustache. Stubble with a chevron stache would look awesome on him
Step 1 is just being ridiculously handsome, it seems.
I've had some form of facial hair, and have never been clean shaven since I was 18, and never will be (I'm now 68). Nowadays I fluctuate between a full beard and a goatee (AKA a circle beard). I am so grateful that genetics have blessed me with the ability to grow thick facial hair. I revel in it.
Thank for this video, really great and educational. I’m a bit indecisive about what style I should go for and this video helped me out. 👍🙂
This man is handsome enough that he can pull off pretty much any style
#1 handsome style for him - clean shaven 😂
My dad would do the hitler stache whenever he shaves before shaving it all off
Made me laugh lol
everyone does that
I don't. Mainly because I haven't shaven my upper lip for 10 years
I'm 57 and have had a beard most of my adult life. It's mid-chest length and almost all white now. If I shaved, I'd look like a 6'4" toddler.
I am def jealous of how this classically very handsome dude with great facial hair is also blessed with an awesome speaking voice. But his pro tips for achieving similar greatness are an absolute joy. Currently saving a bunch of his vids to study 😎 thanks, Mr. Conrad

Funny thing i ve noticed while wearing a beard for so long, is that you become very expressive with your eyes and eyebrows, so much that when you shave, you always look overexpressive 😂
Oh, that’s really interesting
Wooo never noticed that 😳😂
Being expressive with eyes and eyebrows is good for using masks
@@leandrog2785 most people arent using masks anymore unless needed
This was very informative, currently a little overgrown (not quite a full lumberjack but close) and wanted to see what options I have and I think I’m going to go with a low rider since being clean shaven makes me look about 12 and I’m not crazy about moustaches on their own
Ur videos are very informative and extremely helpful. Recent experience made me learn I can’t trust anyone other than myself to trim my beard. U make it all possible.
without a beard he straight looks like the love child of Brad Pitt and Paul Rudd. I think he'll be fine
Its 3 am here in India and I am so hooked to this channel and this guy!!!!! I’ve been growing beard since I saw this guy, watched the entire video and great film-making man, must say great edits and script, got me smiling theoughout the video.

You should grow a beard
He ROCKS the lowrider beard SOOOO well. REALLY jealous about that.
Every time I shave off my beard I walk by a mirror the next morning and the reflection always makes me jump a little. It's weird how hard of a time your mind has with any change.
It's nice to have these options! Thanks for the tutorial.
Seeing you in the mustache, you look like my step dad. I miss him. Thank you for that moment. I appreciate you brother.
It's so satisfying to watch your freestyle movoes.

An amazing transformation. Thanks for sharing.
I can't be the only one who once and for all first decides to shave his beard and then is filled with remorse after the first seconds of shaving...
You could always just keep part of the beard (like the mustache or goatee)
Still waiting for the next video to drop. I hope it's soon. My 1 month beard is starting to look pretty rough without a good neck cleanup but I'm waiting to see if this dude will show me a better way to do it.
The challenge that I'm facing is my wife.
just tell her to stop body shaming you
Hey man great videos , I really wanna grow out the handle bar moustache but my Stach ain’t thick enough , what should I do ?
What kind of trimmer is that? The gold one. Where can I find something similar? I'm looking for a good quality one but every search I do shows up clippers with 1000 attachments etc 🤷♂️
The magnum p.i. one looks like the "Ned Flanders"!
I was gonna say that
This guy looks good in all the styles🤩
Thanks for this video. Props to you.
Lol that was entertaining. I have a beard for the 2nd time in my life only this time I am comfortable with it and enjoying the change. I am 60 now so I think that is what's helping. I enjoyed seeing the styles and your narrating.
"aboot" ok so he's canadian then
He also said “pencil crayon”, what we Canadians call colored pencils.
@@SpektakOneVancouverite here. We call em pencil crayons. Then again Big cities are weird like that
Who in the world called them coloured pencils also I’m Canadian
@That one Potato lol I’ve lived in NYC these past eight years, and my auto-corrects are set to US English. But at least I still say zed. 😊
We've never called them colored pencils in BC.
I am in my late twenties and can't grow a beard, yet still watched the entire video in amazement.
Man he looks awesome in every style.....
Much like shaving your long hair, the beard is the same feeling. It’s like cutting off days, months, & years of progress. But much of the fun are the stages of growth you get to witness throughout those years.
I was thinking 10 years with a beard was a super long time and tried to recall how long i've been with mine, and now realize its been 9 years and 10 months aswell
This man looks great in every style. I'm so jealous.
you can rock any style with this kind of mustache
Van Dyck is actually pretty well known in Europe. The Gent altar is legendary, also because of the mystery surrounding the missing panel.
No lie, this guy looks really good in that Magnum PI mustache
Imo he looked handsome in all except the beard, that made me wanna throw up
He pulled every look including a clean shave👏
What do u do about itching and what would you recommend for moisturizer?
My skin under my beard will randomly itch and burn, I've tried a few beard oils and things alike but they have intensified the burning sensation. Anyone have any products they can recommend?
Man, you have so good cheekbones, you can definitely rock the no beard look
thanks GQ I'll keep this in mind when I'm shaving the four hairs on my neck ;)
Man every one of these styles look so good on him
It's crazy how you pulled off every look , even that french mustache 😂
11:01 My favorite style of this video.
Thank you 🙏 I’m 44 and didn’t have anyone teach about beards or how to cut or treat, so thank you 👊 🧔♂️
Done this a few times and always immediately start growing my beard again. It’s me and my beard always.
I started growing my beard 10 years ago at around 260 lbs. I'm down to 170 now, but I'm still scared to shave it all off because it's been so long
Your face will be so much leaner and angular, expose that jawline! Also say bye to double chins too. God I'm glad I lost the weight
It might be your Sampson beard: If you shave it you'll get all that lost weight back!
this was fun to watch! I'm growing a handlebar moustache right now, I'm at the beginning of the second month now. I leave some beard stubble, it looks cooler on me in my opinion. happy growing!
Look great with all styles, but really dig the clean style actually. Suited the magnum stash a lot too!
Every beard style looks great on this guy.
"This mustache makes me look like a guy named Ron... like Ron Swanson" I wont buy for that mustache until you say the original Ron brother
Ron Jeremy?
For someone who hasn't shaved in 10 years he knows a lot about shaving.
Probably shaved other things
That’s because he’s a barber and he trims his beard probably at least once a week if not more often
He would have had to shave a lot during those past ten years to keep his beard like that
not the sharpest tool in the shed are we
He's a professional barber
I tried the low-rider beard. I can honestly say I enjoyed that type of beard out of other ones that I had. Going for the Magnum PI look now. Good suggestions in this video!
Great video! Reminds me of that chart of all the different kinds of men's facial hair. Ya know, the one where clean shaven is referred to as "federation standard."
I dont have a beard and would never grow one, but I love this.
I laughed so hard in “my body reject it right now”
Ty for your efort to take down thath realy nice beared to show us some stile respect ty!
10:32 in my mind immediately popped up Jim Hopper :D as well as Ron Swanson
Almost looks kinda like Jason Sudekis crossed with John Hamm without a beard
Yessss, I think he looks so much like Jason Sudekis especially as the hair started getting shorter.
i would call u a dead ringer for "my name is earl" :D
I'm loving Matty conard 🥰 even though I don't have a beard bit still watching its relaxing
Loved it 🥸
I'd do anything to have this man's hair genes
This guy is quite literally the only good content on this channel.
Wow, that was super cool! He rocked all the looks. Hated the pencil at the end though lol.
Got a video on how to wash properly? I still sometimes find myself breaking out underneath then I get irritated because it causes some intense itching and I shave out frustration.
I like how he hasn't shaved in years but knows so much about hair trimming.
That’s because he’s a barber and he trims his own beard constantly. If he didn’t trim his own beard, it would be wild and unkempt and super long. You don’t have to shave to trim your beard.
maybe he's a barber??? lmao
He made a very good point about how we notice our hair going so much more than others, and it really goes to show that people don’t care nearly as much as we think they do.
What trimmer and clippers are you using?
So what am I supposed to use while my beard is shot/growing out? I was always told to use beard oil, but (especially my moustache) gets super dry and flakey, even using oil! I end up shaving out of frustration.
The low rider really looks good on you buddy
