I had one of these machines in front of my house today , except it was pushing snow. This looks like more fun.
Never seen a grader used as a bulldozer before but nice job.
Looks like there was a road there sometime in the past, maybe not paved, but a passage way anyhow. Doing that kind of work would be fun and I would have pride with the end result just like that grader operator does.

So, that's why buses and trucks sink into big pits, when it rains. The road has no base layer of blasted stone and no gravel bed on top. It's just soil.

Great work by the road grader and driver, BUT, this job would have gone so much easier with a bulldozer first up to clear all the undergrowth and rip that first layer of soil, you can see how much the road grader is struggling with that initial clear up it just wasn't designed for that. That road is going to be a shocking mud mess with the first lot of rain, really needed a gravel base layer over it and compacted in..

In the end we didn't need to cat D-6, because we finished the path well.
lol d6 is overkill and its not a scrapper
Nah, just needs the right mulching machine. Done and finished in a day plus leaving a much better Finnish. If cared for after this with a mower it could be as smooth as a bald man’s head.
