  • This sounds like a companion to Grapes of Wrath. Similar message. Grapes is about escapism through books. Records is about escapism through music. Weezer's music deals with escapism a lot actually.

  • I'm here because I wanted to remember all of the words to this song... because I want to sing this song inside my head when people make me mad. I remembered that there was a line in this song about singing songs in your head to drown out the negative voices of others - "When people make me mad, I don't hear a word they say. Just the sound of scratches"--and I thought "damn that's such a good idea!!!!" I have to get this song stuck in my head so I can sing it in my head whenever someone at my job is telling me my best isn't good enough, namecalling me and/or stressing me out :D!

  • I haven't listened to the radio in forever but my bf turned it on when he went to the store in my car I left it on when I went out the next day and I heard this on the radio a few times while I was out.
