  • Thank for these videos captain. Definitely going to get that 36v. Very curious to see what a solar charger will do with those awesome batteries. Suggestion, when all the other boats have left or when your out fishing alone like that let out at least a 50 ft float rope with a fender tied to it. If a wave happens to catch you off guard and you fall in, you will be draged by the current towards the direction of the rope so you can swim to it and pull yourself back on board asap. Many boats have been found empty. I can't imagine how heart breaking it is to see your boat getting smaller and smaller. Epirbs are great but the don't keep sharks away. Great videos!

  • Hi Minn Kota! I'll bet you are watching this video??.I for one recommend you sponsor OOTR! He has shown the world how to properly install your unit, and has 'Torture-Tested' it today in this video! He is helping you sell a lot of Minn Kotas! ☺... Hi Capt OOTR, great video! I was wondering why you didn't keep the red snappers to eat?.... And by the way, Penn should also sponsor you; you showed everyone that a Penn rod can take a Bending and keep on fishing!

  • You need a gaf with you man-you seem to like to hand line the last 5’ of line in,even a net will help you get them in the boat Capt.your trolling motor did a spectacular job-once your in the Bahamas you can hover over those reefs and do no damage to the coral with an anchor-that’s great

  • Hey Mate, great video. I’d love a Minn Kota but due to my boats design I doubt I’d be able to fit one. It looked like you had a good days fishing but, I don’t understand why you leave the rod in the rod holder while bringing in a fish. Your arms act as shock absorbers and work with the flex in the rod and stretch in the line to prevent shock loads causing pulled hooks, snapped line and rod damage especially if your drag is locked. There is so much more control over the fish with rod in hands. Well, update for Melbourne, Australia, we are now allowed to travel up to 25km from home (woohoo) how generous of our Dictator. Last night of night shift tonight and two weeks leave starting 1 Nov. Weather is looking good so I’m going to do two days, one night on the boat.....I’m soooo excited 🎣🎣🎣🎣🍺🍺🍺🍺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Have you used the Trolling motor to assist you in docking your boat? like a bow thruster? to maintain control of your bow when getting into a tight berth? • If you see the stomach poking out the fishes mouth, it means the swim bladder has blown up and needs to be aspirated before release. Many of the released red snapper were eaten by those sharks you saw. Hopefully the cobia fought harder and came up slower, so no expanded swim bladders (except the one that got bit, its a goner). You need to move when you are getting sharked and only catching shorts.
