LET OUR LOVE WIN
(Alessandro Del Vecchio, Kent Hilli)
Ohoh
I’ve been waiting for this long
And you’re not calling
I’ve been trying to find my way
Out of the dark
Oh, let me take another ride with you
And dance in the fire
won’t you take another shot with me
And feel my desire
The road to paradise
The devil takes your hand
Don’t be cold as ice
Are you ready to take a stand?
Through the fire and rain
For the storm I’m to blame
Gotta let our love win
scents of broken desire
Walking on a high wire
Gotta let our love win
Chase the ghosts in my bed
Or run away instead
I’ve been wandering like a dog
Without a bone
The road to paradise
The devil takes your hand
Don’t be cold as ice
Are you ready to take a stand?
Through the fire and rain
For the storm I’m to blame
Gotta let our love win
Scents of broken desire
Walking on a high wire
Gotta let our love win
The road to paradise
The devil takes your hand
Don’t be cold as ice
Are you ready to take a stand?
Through the fire and rain
For the storm I’m to blame
Gotta let our love win
Scents of broken desire
Walking on a high wire
Gotta let our love win
Scents of broken desire
Walking on a high wire
Gotta let our love win
Ohoh
We gotta let our love, let our love, let our love win…

GIANT are set to unleash their highly anticipated fifth studio album, “Shifting Time" on January 21, 2022. Now anchored by founding members David Huff and Mike Brignardello, the two are joined by guitarist John Roth (Winger, Starship featuring Mickey Thomas, Jimi Jamison) and vocalist Kent Hilli (Perfect Plan). After more than a decade since their last album, the band is back with new music that showcases their perfect blend of the melodic rock sound. Founding member Dann Huff has given his seal of approval and appears on lead guitar on the song 'Never Die Young'. Pre-order/save "Shifting Time" on CD/LP/Cassette/Digital HERE: orcd.co/shiftingtime It has been over a decade since GIANT has released new music and drummer David Huff says, "We are very excited for people to hear "Shifting Time"! It has been way too long in between GIANT albums and we hope you find it worth the wait. Thanks to everyone at Frontiers and especially the fans for their undying support of GIANT!! We would love to follow up with some live dates in 2022, if that is something the fans would like to see, so hopefully we'll see you out there!" "We have worked so hard and we are very happy and proud of this record", continues Huff. "I was so impressed with Kent’s vocals when I first heard him! He was a natural fit with our sound and we are thrilled to have him on board," he adds about new vocalist Kent Hilli. ”Wow, man, what can I say? To be asked to be the new singer for my all-time favorite band Giant was, and still is, mind-blowing! I still have a hard time grasping it all. I am tempted to use a certain film quote ("You know, I'm just a regular guy who grew up with the posters of these guys on my wall...and now I'm one of them! That's right, I'm standing here, living proof that if you work hard enough, and you want it bad enough…dreams do come true, so follow your dreams.”), but I won’t, haha. But seriously, that is exactly how I feel. I still remember hearing Giant's first album, ”Last Of The Runaways”, in 1989 which totally blew me off the chair I was sitting on. Since then, I have probably listened to their music every week. And now working with David, Mike, John, and also Alessandro has been a blessing and I am very proud of the album and the music we have created together. These guys are true professionals and I am blessed beyond words to be a part of this and David, Mike, and John have been so supportive and welcoming. I am also very grateful to Frontiers for making this happen and giving me and us this opportunity and I can’t wait to release the songs for everyone to hear,” says Kent Hilli of joining GIANT. Originally formed in the late '80s by brothers Dann and David Huff, together with the experienced jazz and rock keyboardist Alan Pasqua and Nashville session bass player Mike Brignardello, Giant would become, with the release of their debut album "Last of The Runaways" (A&M Records, 1989), one of the most respected bands of the melodic hard rock scene. Following countless live performances in support of their debut, the band released the follow-up "Time to Burn" (Epic, 1991), an album still regarded as a main source of influence for many melodic and hard rock bands who came after. With the sudden change of musical climate in the early '90s, Giant disbanded with their members becoming involved in different projects, with both Dann and David Huff becoming well respected producers. In 2001, Frontiers prompted Giant to release "III", an album that would prove to be a landmark in the growth of the new era Melodic Rock scene, particularly in Europe. Unfortunately, Dann's busy schedule along with the other members' commitments, made the reunion impossible to carry on as had originally been planned; however, the vision of bringing Giant back as a band with a recording and touring line-up was something that the band was still open to exploring, even if Dann had to step away. Thus, original members, drummer David Huff and bassist Mike Brignardello, with the blessing of Dann started an endless research for the right musicians that could be part of a renewed Giant line-up. In the end, the choice fell on vocalist Terry Brock (Strangeways, Seventh Key) and guitarist John Roth (Winger, Starship). The resulting album, “Promise Land” soon became a fan favorite, showcasing top quality songwriting and performances. Giant, however, went into hibernation again, with the exception of a one-off show in 2017, where the original band members reunited on a Nashville club stage for a charity event. Even prior to that one-off live appearance, Serafino Perugino, President and Head of A&R for Frontiers Records, had been persistently contacting David Huff to do another GIANT album. (Literally, years and years spent convincing David that fans wanted another GIANT album.) With the one-off live event piquing fan interest again, Serafino and David Huff resumed talks to see if they could manage to find the right formula for a new album from Giant. When the Swedish band Perfect Plan released a cover version of the Giant’s original hit “Stay” in 2019, then all pieces of the puzzle started to fall into place. Serafino knew GIANT was Kent's favorite band of all-time and vocally, Hilli certainly had the chops to fill the very big shoes of Dann Huff, so he presented him to David Huff and Mike Brignardello. They were impressed with Hilli and were keen on the idea of him handling lead vocals for the next Giant release. Kent also brought his songwriting talents to the fold and together with other songwriters such as Alessandro Del Vecchio, Kristian Fyhr, and Pete Alpenborg (and contributions from Jonas Eriksson and Mike Palace), the resulting album will be an absolute joy and delight for melodic rock lovers. Truly, the production, songwriting, and performances shine throughout "Shifting Time". "Shifting Time" was produced by David Huff, Mike Brignardello and Alessandro Del Vecchio. Mixing and mastering was done by Del Vecchio for Frontiers Productions. Serafino Perugino serves as executive producer. GREAT Song very very strong VOICE me happy NEW VOCALIST SUPREME KENT HILLi 🎤💯🤘🏼👍❤
Kent is a sublime talent. Great to see Giant back.
Well; what could i possibly say: "this is what rock is all about; i'm a huge fan of GIANT since the 90ies; and the journey goes on - ROCKING BIG TIME!! Go go go guys and ROCK ON! Marc
This guys voice is incredible, rock on guys.
Fantastish legendary hard rock the band Giant!! Rock n roll!
Love it Kent fits like a glove , its so good to hear Giants AOR sound again love those powerful licks .Fantastic melodic band .
Kent Hilli is the new blood, and the front man - and should be on the thumbnail and posters!
I love this so much! I never thought Giant would come back after the disappointing 4th album but here they are back with a bang! Yes I miss Dann's incredible vocals and guitar work but this new vocalist is very good still and it still has the essence of GIANT! Also can I just say that with the first 3 albums they are one of the most underrated bands I've heard! They should of been much bigger than they are! But I'm glad they're back 😊
I KNEW IT I JUST KNEW IT Kent Hilli is Frontiers secret weapon. When I saw that Giant was coming back I was just hoping Kent would be involved. I know Hilli being such a fan of Giant it is a dream come true. All I can say is this is amazing and I can't wait to hear the full record. This song is 🔥 well done once again frontiers.
Love Dan Huff in the band, but if can't have him then Kent Hilli is the ultimate professional to replace him. Love seeing Kent playing with the band that inspired him
So good to have GIANT back so powerful! Love the new CD and the great voice of Kent Hilli 💪👊
Thank u so much brother!🙏❤️
@@kenthilli The very end of April and I'm JUST NOW finding this new GIANT album!!! "Promise Land" was a disappointment (for me), BUT THIS is exciting to hear!! THIS sounds like GIANT as it should be!! THANK YOU for coming on board and re-awakening the GIANT!!! Whooooooooo!!!!!
Love it i was expectin Dann but this song sounds like he never left the band spot on guys love this song.

Oh Kent Hilli Super
Love it! Excellent guitar, Vocals & band is tight. Cool song.. What not to like?
Awesome Stuff. GReat cool rockin Tune. Love it. Kent Hill sings his Ass off. Great Choice for that Band. One of my favourite Singers. Fantastic Upload :)
Oh Giant 💞 ça me rappelle ma jeunesse.🥰 Tellement heureuse d'un nouvel album. C'est excellent. 👌💪 Bravo👌✌️🤟
ROTH RULES!!! 👍👍
Awesomeness.
Let Our Love Win Is An Awesome Great Straight Up Rock N Roll Song By Giant And Totally Rocks It Needs To Be Cranked Up All The Way To Full Maximum Volume.
Great musicians and great respect but only the name of GIANT remains
2 founding members and the guitar players been with them for almost 15 years. Dann doesn't sing anymore he's too busy being the hottest country music producer in Nashville to play with them. That's why Dann's not in it. He gave them his blessing laid guitar on a track. This is a way better lineup than the promise land album era from 2010.
No complaints here, glad your back. Killer song
@@miccullen bingo. This APPEARS to be a money grab using a respected name, from the record company. Shame on you guys. The majority of the comments in every thread on this acknowledge how good the song is, but point out its NOT Giant. Try a different band name, "featuring David and Mike, formerly of Giant". Problem solved. Pissed off fans appeased, sense of respect for record company restored. Easy.
Jerry, how is this a $ grab.. this is so much better than the mindless rubbish on the radio. I get the name thing.. but many bands evolve with old and new members. I like this track.
@@mikegardner8563 I'm not arguing that it's a bad song, it's not. It's just cashing in on the band name without having the most important part there. Give it another name, say featuring former members of Giant, and everyone is happy (and honest).
So awesome to see Giant back!! Saw them live, Opening for the band “RTZ” back in the early 90’s! New singer sounds awesome. I miss the original singer but the good thing they still can rock! Cannot wait to get this album!! It ROCKS!’🤘🏼
Just found this, this is gold!!!
Kicking!!!
I have mixed feelings about this, I think most of all we have it. Giant without Dann isn't the same. Also a little detail is missing in this new era project, Mark Spiro songwriting. Besides of this, I believe this is a great tune, catchy, melodic rock that brings us here. Who against the quality of Kent, Roth or the remains members plus additional support? Nobody!! But if is the way to see them play live. Just set the tour of Giant and include NY.
This says everything I was going to say. Spot-on
I agree, it's a really great song, and it's awesome to have David and Mike back together in a band... and under another band name I would be extremely excited... it just doesn't feel like "Giant" without Dann and with Kent Hilli on vocals, no matter how well John can imitate Dann's style.
My thoughts exactly.
Nailed it. Dann is Giant, Giant is Dann, the only member you can't replace. Change the name out of respect for the legacy. This is not Giant. It is a great tune, just not Giant.
I agree Daniel, I miss Dann Huff and it's not Giant like I've always experienced it. John Roth is good guitarist but certainly no Dann. The singer has a good voice.
Excellent! I am extremely excited for this album. This album gives me goosebumps like their very first album did” definitely getting this CD!
My band i want yo cry now 💛💛 ... Since i'll see u in my dreams 😢😢
I'm glad you guys are back, it's been awhile!!!! Let's start a block party and kick some a$$!!! Keep Rocking on guys 🎸🎸🎸🎸 and stay strong 💪 too!!! Your biggest fan from Pasadena, CA 😎
Kent 🤘🇸🇪🤘🇸🇪🤘🇸🇪💯
Kent is a machine
Happy to have you back
Smashing Tune ! John Roth is rocking it as always
Great Track! Would love to get them on my show to feature the new album and the band!
Hell yeah!!! That's an awesome song!!Nice crunch from the guitar, and killer vocals.
GREAT BAND HUFF
Rock on! Love & miss you Jimi Jamison!
Good Ole Frontiers Records. That Italian record company that makes a living picking up old rock acts and packaging them for European consumption. At least they outlived Artemis. As for this flavor of Giant...the music they make is radio friendly but radio is dead now. Glad they can still put stuff together. Wishing Dann and David the best!
Hope y'all tour soon. Come to Arkansas if able. Would love to see y'all here. Would be awesome ❤️🎸🎶🎶🤘
Great Boy´s !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent
O Hell Yes. Thank You Frontiers 🙏 🤘
Awsome 💯💯💯💯💯👌👍🏾
Oh thank God........ it still "sounds" like Giant.
How does it "sound" like Giant, or are you being sarcastic? 🤔
Super Song.Habe nach vielen Jahren Giant bei euch wieder entdeckt.Dafür danke ich euch.
wow+++ !! !excellent !!!!
Digging the new giant
.. 💫SOOoo.. Great Boy"s... 🤘 🙃👍
Amazing. That intro is legendary. Welcome back Giant.
amazing intro, so epic
Great ❤️👍🏼💪🏼
Love that atmospheric intro.
GREAT guitar! I love it.
I write all this with all due respect and wanting to be objective. The riff sounds a lot like Thunder and lightning, the chorus loses power. And even though John Roth is a great guitarist, I miss Dann Huff, on vocals but especially on guitars. For me this is not Giant. It is a good project that perhaps should have another name.
You have hit the nail on its head. My opinion exactly.
I agree! Dan Huff is Giant!!
Yes like journey isnt journey without steve perry this is another karaoke band huh
@@jamieinglis1043 Journey was Journey well before Perry though, so not a good example, but I get your point.
Totally agree
This was great!
Sounds awesome! Can't wait to hear the full album!
Awesome 🎼🎸🤘🎶
Blast from the Past Band. There first release from 20 Years ago was great. didn't know they were still making music.
Love these guys I had no idea!
They really held back the originality and ripped the intro straight out of thunder and lightning
Awesome song!
Sounds Good to me.... Roll on January!
waow una de mis bandas top que bueno que esten de regreso lo maximo nunca te vayas GIANT !!!!
Well crafted song, I found it enjoyable.
Wow, loved that!
Somzeiraaaaaaaaaa... Não vejo a hora das outras músicas... Amo giant.... O som é hard sempre... Não tem erro
Love to see Mike and David. But I miss Dann, a lot. He IS Giant.
Awesome great music song. Rock 🔥🔥🔥🎸🎸
I like it so much!
This is fire!
Love it ❤️🎸🎶🤘
Kent ❤
sounds great guys & John rocks the guitar! I miss Dann.
This is beautiful!
Great singer!! but Giant is Dann Huff
There ain't Giant without Dan Huff. His composition and lyrical ability is no match to today's Giant.
I'm definitely getting the album when it comes out!!
Hard Rock ❤!!!
This is a very good melodic rock song from talented musicians. But it sounds nothing like the classic Giant sound/ line up
WTF! GIANT IS BACK🤘🤘🤘👏👏👏👏
Very nice!
At last there back!!
"their" 😁
I got some slight vibes from the 3rd album when John started his guitar riffs around 1:33, but overall this song is not what I was hoping for. Still, I wish them success with the album and maybe one of the other songs will catch my interest more. I do like David's drumming, though I wish Mike's bass guitar wasn't getting drowned out so much by the electric guitars.
It’s not a “bad” song per se, I miss Dan Huff though 😢
In April 2009 the band started the writing and the recording sessions of the new album, with Dann Huff himself participating to the sessions, co-writing with the new line-up members the haunting ballad Our Love and the straight out rockers Double Trouble, Plenty of Love, Save Me. He offered songs from his catalogue, such as the album title-track, Through My Eyes (both co-written with Mark Spiro) and Two Worlds. He also later guested on lead guitars on Save Me and Believer (Redux), the latter being a song written by Erik Martensson and Robert Sall of new Melodic Rock sensations W.E.T. with Miqael Persson (with two more: Never Surrender and Prisoner of Love fruit of the Martensson/Persson collaboration).
He's still there...
Have to admit Kent Hilli is an amazing vocalist though
Dan is the “man “
He's so good hisname is actually Dann. He needs both ,"N"'s to cover his greatness! Dann Huff!
Oh my God... Wonderful surprise!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
💥💥💥👏👊Very good 👊🤘
If we can't have all original members this is good for me. Saw Giant on the Time to Burn tour in a small club and was blown away. Cool dudes making great music.
Followed the shows from Texas to Mississippi, on my way to college. Six shows then, 9 previous tour. All clubs. Incredible shows, every one.
