Two. Lawford and Ted K.
I love the humble wedding of JFK, Jr and Carolyn B. Walking down the aisle to "Amazing Grace" tells so much about who they are! A beautiful couple gone too soon
My niece was married at St Patrick’s Cathedral. Such a gorgeous church ❤ She and her husband are still married after 25 years ! ❤
John & Jackie’s must have been a treat. I recently saw John Jrs & Carolyn’s wedding tapes…Im still in awe, the natural intimate setting, the close famiky & friends. Perfection❤
That was a gorgeous ceremony but such a tragic ending.
I like RFK JRs weddings best bc he brings me so much joy. It's great to see him happy.
None of rhem are loyal to their wives. Sad.
Well, for that you can blame the women that they had affairs with.
Didn't you know!? It's a Kennedy tradition!! The narrator was ostentatious to say the least.
It's crazy how strong the genes are from Rose and Joe. You can still see their faces in RFK Jr today.
Well, considering Ethel looked like a Kennedy . . .
Yes..probably the homliest family there is..other than the daughter Joe destroyed...the women esp are very unaTtractive
Very nice. By the way: JFK and Jacqueline were married at the Auchincloss Estate - Hammersmith Farm - the home of her stepfather. :)
They were married there or had the reception there?
Jack & Jackie had the reception at Hammersmith.
That's right...Jack & Jackie's wedding reception held in Hammersmith Farm, Newport RI was Jackie's step dad summer estate not the Bouviers. The Bouvier Summer Estate was called "Lasata" in East Hampton, NY.
Connected by a wedding veil. The story begins in 1903, when Margaret Merritt Lee wore the exquisite rose point lace veil when she married James T. Lee, a prominent New Yorker. Some 50 years later, her granddaughters Jacqueline Lee Bouvier and Mary Lee Ryan continued the tradition at their own weddings. In 1953, Jacqueline Bouvier married then-Senator John F. Kennedy; her first cousin, Mary Ryan, wore the veil in 1957 when she wed William A.V. Cecil, grandson of George Vanderbilt who constructed Biltmore.
I really appreciate how respectfully these weddings are presented.
Love seeing all the weddings! I was most intrigued with JFK Jr.'s because it was shrouded in secrecy and ultimately tragedy. I didn't know of some of later weddings. So, great to see them.
Great job! So fun to absorb all the fashion and history. One correction: Sheila Rauch and Joe Jr. were not both 26 when they got married. She was 3-4 years older. And she also challenged the Catholic annulment he petitioned for when they divorced. (She even went to the Vatican to have it reversed! She wasn't Catholic, and was very bitter.) I would love to see film of Patrick Kennedy's wedding (Ted's youngest). He and his wife have a bunch of kids and he's such a great advocate for mental health awareness. Thanks again!
My favorite is and will be the wedding of Jack and Jackie Kennedy. I loved these two Kennedy’s the Best! Wish Jack was here today! We need a President like him today.❤️
Bay of pigs.
John F Kennedy wouldn't be here today, he was born in 1917, so that would make him just about 107. He'd most likely be dead a long time ago.
Wow, such attention to detail. Another great video. Thank you ❤
You did a great job in recounting the Kennedy weddings, but you missed one. Rory Kennedy was supposed to get married during July 1999, bur the wedding had to be postponed because of the deaths of JFK Jr. and his wife and her sister. Rory was married in early August 1999.
My favorite Kennedy wedding must be John and Jackie's.
It was the classiest.
I love Jackie's veil.
I love this!
I’m so glad! Thank you
Another Great One in American History
“Optimism and possibility” is what you say for Jackie and John F Kennedy. That quote defines the look in Jackie’s eyes and smile but I would add the word innocence. As Jackie’s life goes year by year you see these lights die and/or become tainted. It is truly sad. JFK already had a little less of the innocence as was normal for the men and women who served in WW2. So sad. I would question she found “happiness” with Onassis. Security? YES. I had never known the Vatican was against the marriage. Learn something new every day. 🙂 Interesting how Maria Shriver looks like both her parents at the same time. 🙂 You have a good voice for narration and well presented videos. New subscriber. -A 😃
Everybody loves a wedding !
Where was Rory Kennedy’s wedding? She was the youngest of RFK and JFK Jr. was on his way there to her rehearsal when he died in the tragic accident. Rory was married a year later. I would like to see that.
Beautiful very will Done 💯
It's funny how they didn't mention that Jackie's dad didn't show up for her wedding because he was drunk. I felt so badly for this woman.
I loved Jack and Jackie's wedding best of all.
Since a lot of these unions ended in either divorce or death, your "happily ever after" fairy tale scenario is a bit hard to swallow.
Yes, and it’s well known JFK and Robert had several affairs, Ted Kennedy responsible for Chappaquiddick drowning of a girl, the Smith son for rape, Joesph Sr., Schwartzenager affair with housekeeper producing a child.etc., etc.
Debbie Downer.. Maybe see that glass half full.
Omitted was RFK, Jr's second marriage to Mary Richardson in 1994. They divored in 2010, and she committed suicide in 2012.
🏰The castles of burgundy board game looks fascinating! 🏰 I am definitely ordering one for myself and for my kids. We love board games. 🏰 Thank you for the info !
I love Jackie and jfk wedding the best. My other faves....Maria Shiver, Caroline, jfk jr. Eunice Shriver and her granddaughter in same dress.
This channel is so elegant ❤
Thank you very much!!
@@CulturedElegance You’re welcome ☺️
I just stumbled upon your channel. Thank you so much for putting this together. I have never seen these weddings besides Jack and Jackie’s and small snippets of RFK’s and Ted’s.
Thank you!! Glad to have you here!!
My favorite Kennedy Wedding is Jack.anf Jackie
Beautiful video. Jackie’s heirloom veil, Caroline’s dress and veil and Carolyn’s dress and veil are just perfect to me. And I don’t think Jackie ever looked more beautiful than at her daughter’s wedding. God bless so many of these souls no longer with us. p.s. Eunice Shriver’s granddaughter in her dress is so beautiful and poignant.
Thank you so much!
Jackie’s dress was made by a lady from Alabama that had a salon that catered to society ladies. She made dresses for many years. Wish I could remember her name.
John and Jacqueline
Why is it people have too criticize what happens after a Catholic wedding? It happens in all religions, to all people not just Catholics ! When they fell in love , that was the furthest thing in their minds ! They’d met the love of their lives, didn’t wonder about how their lives would change forever! Come on people it happens to all of us , let’s not criticize only bcoz they’re the Kennedys & Catholic!
Where was Tatiana Schlossberg, Caroline's daughter?
Their not influencial now😊
They’re*
And?
I’m sure they are crying while still being insanely well connected and having billions.
❤❤❤❤❤
Jacquline deserved better she was very classy in her own right
Black Jack Bouiver was too drunk to walk Jackie down the aisle.😮
💐
I hope you do Samatha, endora and, serenas fashion from bewitched
I don't think they qualify as classic, or cultured, elegance though.
What?
Jackie didn't like the gown but it's gorgeous
I just know Jackie found Eunice's 6 tier wedding cake tacky.
🤣🤣
I was thinking the same thing. Jackie's wedding cake was so simple it was almost an "anti-wedding" wedding cake. 😂
I ❤ Jackie Kennedy
I Love this family In that time I am gerad 8 student
Which video will be covering next?
We are all immigrants.. .. a lovely couple, a great president, so many .. untimely deaths including MLK.
Bonsoir merci de traduire en français cordialement Mme
Oh my, the vatican frowned on it.
🗽?
Wonder If Maiesys were there?
Who was the man speaking at Carolyn & John’s wedding? I’ve never heard that phrase before about parenting but it’s so true.
Senator Ted Kennedy
The ultimate in womanizer.
Ethel is 1928 an married 1950: she was 21 or 22.
Famous names Kennedy families
You never gave any info on Ted Kennedy’s marriage to Joan. The kids have little historical significance, because at that time all the kids led private lives.
JACKIE FOUND MONEY IN ONASIS, ACCORDING TO HIS BIOGRAPHY.
J
I never thought jackie was pretty
Nice but how many of these Catholic marriages ended in divorce.
How many make it?..
Many of them ended in death and hardly had a chance.
Or early demiss
@@baylorsailorTrue. Before they had a chance to divorce. JFK Jr spoke of divorce a week before the tragic plane crash.
@@collnssTheirs was not a Catholic wedding-but, yes, it was doomed from the start, however romantically portrayed in the press.
No comment on their sister who they put in an institution and had half her brain removed because she didn’t fit the Kennedy family opulence.🤷🏻
What they did to Rosemary was unforgivable but Joe her father n mother both suffered in later life guess karma's a bitch
Victoria's maiden name is pronounced GIF-FORD, not Gil-ford. And forgive me for saying it, but Carolyn Kennedy did not have tashion sense. Her wedding dress looked like a negligee.
I thought her gown was beautiful.
@@Colorbrush21Sure....for a boudoir.
ניבחר לנשיאות בעזרת המאפיה
And robert's wife was not pretty either I don't know what the hell he saw in her
Caroline’s bridesmaid dresses were so UGLY
Yes they were hideous.
It's always funny to me that you never see any black people at any of their weddings. Surely there must have been some prominent black folks around. Plus I think they should be called Irish Americans as they're immigrants.
You must not have bern watching closely. There is at 19:32.
Only native Americans are not "immigrants"
@@laurapeter3857 lol. It took a while. You know what I mean.
