  • If I was overweight and my man said he wished I would lose some weight I’d be hella hurt but I absolutely would lose it. I want my man to find me attractive and I want him to make an effort to look attractive to me too.

    • What happens when you’re disabled or hit menopause or have kids and have diastases recti that can’t be fixed with exercise. Your partner should find you attractive at any size the only reason for wanting to lose weight should be for health benefits.

      @tta1390@tta13906 ай бұрын
    • @@tta1390 If that’s the case then I would be working with a doctor to figure things out. No, my man should not find me attractive at any size. I don’t find severely overweight people attractive or severely underweight people attractive. You can’t control what you’re attracted to. It’s one thing to be going through a health issue for a time but I’m not just accepting an unhealthy looking body and saying “if you love me you have to be turned on by me even when I look ugly.” Not how attraction works.

    • @@Antibeautyguru so would you be fine if your partner leaves you or cheats on you when you get cancer and chemo makes your hair fall out since “you can’t control what you’re attracted to” your thinking is incredibly flawed, marriage is for better or worse it goes beyond attraction, it’s choosing to be with someone through thick and thin. Would it be okay if when you get to 50 and hit menopause your husband who you built everything with dumps you on the side of the road and marries someone 30 yrs younger since “you can’t control what you’re attracted to”. Some men prefer obese people but a partner that loves their wife would want them to be healthy and live long even if that means putting aside their obesity preference.

    • @@tta1390 No, that is a situation that occurs for a period of time. I imagine if I had cancer my husband would not be concerned about his attraction for me because he would be worried about me surviving. You’re bringing up completely different issues and acting like it’s the same as what I’m saying and it isn’t at all. I am saying that in general I will not let myself go and if I keep not caring about how I look for 10 years or longer I don’t have the right to say “well you should still find me attractive even if I look awful.” He should stay with me but tell me that I need to start caring about my appearance again. I’m not saying you should leave your partner for someone young and hot if your partner is putting in effort and goes to the gym, eats healthy, wears makeup if they always have, does their hair if they always have, gets dressed nice everyday if they always have ect. It’s not fair to present yourself a certain way in the beginning of the relationship and then stop caring because guess what? If you get divorced and decide to go out and date again you’re gonna put effort into your appearance for another potential relationship, but you won’t for your husband? That’s wild. So to be clear, my man should not leave me for a health issue that occurs like cancer or something that makes me gain or lose weight or hair, but if it is something that can be sorted out with a doctor then yes, you should change and no I don’t blame my man for not being attracted to me when I look ugly for years and years and show no interest in looking attractive for him. Period.

  • 🙋🏾💯 The word Weight beyond a Musical scale. Weight equivalent to the World, Your Tribes and knowing who you are within the Tribes. Is that realistic in a balanced Relationship with Equality, Unity and 1+12?

  • Based on that story about the bathroom rules, I can easily imagine that man being such an asshole that his wife be leaving things in disarray just to mess with him.
