Gather round, team. From this day forth, we are soldiers of fortune, and our fortune today is knowledge. In 1983, a team assembled to turn the tide on their own bad luck. Those men became known as the A Team, special forces united by their unit and by the crime they never committed. Luckily, the cast could live way more freely than their on-screen counterparts. But what exactly did they get up to after this iconic action show ended?
I’m your host Nostalgic Nick, and if we can find them, we’re here to revisit the cast of this unexpected hit. A perfect mixture of action and comedy, that in part, helped rescue NBC in the 80s. How many of us loved the constant bickering between B.A and Murdock? The chemistry between these four likable rogues, kept us enthralled throughout the 5 seasons. If you enjoy this Cast Rewind, be sure to give it a thumbs up and don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss our next nostalgic video. Without further ado, let’s see this plan come together.

What do you remember about The A-Team? 🤔
Loved the goofiness of Murdoch. The banter between him and Mr T was great.
No one ever got shot or killed during the entire show.
I remember just how good those 4 Actors made the Show.....can I ask why you did not included Amy in the cast or some of the recurring bad guys like Colonel Decker....I loved them too.
@@willieg7895 I think only one time and that was it.
Boy George and his band Culture Club's guest appearance. ☺️😁❤️
honestly I loved all the characters even the chemistry between Murdoc and BA. While whatching it I wish I was part of the team even just for one episode.
I wish that too! Tell me if you ever figure out how to do that. Maybe we could get a plan to come together:)
When I was a kid I didn't understand Murdock's humour, but watching the episodes back I can see that Dwight Shultz is hilarious and the chemistry between all four of them is sublime.
I grew up watching the A-Team back in the 80s, it's a classic nostalgia that holds up to this day. Gotta love the 80s.
I loved BA 💗 &Face!
I like Murdock
Stephen J. Cannell was the ultimate creator and producer in the 70s and 80s. Boy, we sure could use his genius in TV now. Thanks to him, we have the fondest memories of the A- Team.
and he was a nice guy.
my favorite was Mr. T.. he was the reason I started lifting weights. I was 5 when I use to watch anything and everything of his. I still want to meet him more than any other celebrity
Dwight Schultz was my favorite! He was crazy & kept me laughing!! 😍
Yeah he would piss mr t off with his babbling and impersonations
Your right it b on comedy channel started to watch again love it Murdock makes me laugh so much rest of cast great to love to see a new series of it with the old cast in it
Mine too :)
I WANT TRASH BAGS! TRASH BAGS!!!
George Prepard " I love it when a plan comes together"
Knew him from Banachek & a movie I loved as a kid PJ, can never find it.
That's where the film 'Barb Wire' got it from
@@murphycreationsvideos Yep, I can't believe how many types of wire there are.
Everything all the characters was wonderful.....rest in peace George.
I grew up on the A Team and I have yet to see a show come close to its humor, fun and action. Thank you to all the cast for such great adventures god bless them all and I love it when a plan comes together! 😉
The best show of all time. Each of the members fit the roles perfectly.
I do remember watched every week..bullets flying around like crazy noone got killed or even injured....good family show back in the day
In Germany you can still watch it every week. 2 episodes come on saturday, next two on sunday. I do it every weckend.
Well thats not true😉 in 1 episode HM Murdock was shot will he was saving Hannibal😎 He was not dead but heavy injured
@@semvos6462 B.A. got shot in his leg in one episode too
@@Entity282 yes i forgot thats true😎😉
Very last episode face got shot and the show ended. Murdoch got shot. Season 4 general fulbright shot and died
I liked the show’s family friendliness. Action, but no casualties.
everyone walks away
Yeah no matter how many times the car flipped over
The good old days huh? The 1980s... what a decade!!! American tv was the best!
Actually there were 2 episodes where someone really died. But considering the heavy use of guns and explosives and people walking away with just some bruises, yeah a family show 😅
Except General Fulbright.
I loved the A-team when I was a kid. Especially when they built some kind of vehicle or weapen to escape from a hopeless situation.
Murdock! He was a class A nut!
Do you know he was a classically trained stage actor? Read Colleen Dewhurst's bio & he was mentioned. Does the voice of Mondoll on Chowder cartoon
murdock was great
My Mom still yells I wanna trash bag. She Loves Murdock. She's kinda like him.😂😂
All the shooting and fighting in the A team show no one ever dies and also no set of blood senece really a good show for the family!🆒💯💞❤️
Favourite show as a kid. My father would complain to me that thousands of rounds were fired every episode and nobody ever got hit! Hahaha! 😆. Murdock was my favourite.
You sound like my son. Who are you??
Murdock was my favorite, too, and B. A., too. 😊😎
My mom used to say how unrealisticit it was for that reason.
LOL. I know. I watch classic old shows.
All these actors made this show a success, each in their own way.
I grew up watching the A team, man do I miss those days
The A Team is the G.O.A.T, still timeless, " i love it when a plan comes together "!
B.A. all the way baby! One of many shows I want on DVD.
All of it as I am a big everything 80's my decade! Best shows like this , best music, best decade ever !!!!
The A Team was huge in Holland. It really was a family series. Even the parrot of my sister could wistle the first part of the A Team tune hahahaha. In 1984 the A Team came to Holland. 100,000s of Dutch fans came to the places where the A team went to visit. They were legends and still are.
This was a show our whole family (my husband and I have 5 sons) would regularly watch together. We laughed our &^$% off and my boys would reenact the dialogue. They still do it today! One of the best shows ever!
I love it when a plan comes together. Rest in peace to Hannibal Smith
George Peppard was my favorite... they were ALL my favorite... that show was my childhood. And Peppard's death still chokes me up.
Carla Linton. I loved The A Team that was and still is one of my Action Shows back in the 80s.
They all were good.. and they all worked together ❤...love them all
Indeed
Mr. T was , is and always will be my favorite but, it took the whole cast with a plan to come up with a HIT TV show ! 😊
Super serial fabularny ,a drużyna A to bardzo dobra obsada aktorska.
All the Above they were the best memory of my childhood and to this day I still have Mr T van and all the action figures back in the 80s with the original box
I loved the a team and my favorite cast member is mr t I wish they were back again I miss the show ☺️
I loved them all!!!🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Honestly, I was a ridiculous teenage girl and followed Dirk Benedict from Battlestar Galactica to The A-Team. No regrets😄
I remember the A Team. I got to meet Dirk Benedict. He is a very sweet man. Loved this show ❤❤❤
In Germany...Deutschland "Ich liebe es, wenn ein Plan funktioniert".. Läuft hier in Dauerschleife bei RTL... Schaue es immer wieder 🥰
I loved all 4 of them. The worked well together. You did miss Amy. I liked her better than her replacement. It was a great family friendly action show.
Yes i have to say i missed Amy too. My favourite Hannibal line "I'm trying to save you ten miles of misery" classic
They were all cool Mr. T was the coolest and still is to this day. I pitty the fool that didnt love this show.
Best show ever! Murdock was my favorite!
I'm from Indonesia 🇮🇩 I love The A-Team TV movies 😍👍
I love it when a good show comes together. Sorry couldn't resist.
They are all so great and the team wouldn't be 'A' without them. Great casting, too. I'm sooooo glad they kept Dwight Schultz as H. M. Murdock! I love it when a cast comes together. Ha Ha :)
Loved the show, but Murdoch was definitely a favourite. Life's never boring with Him around. My Late Mum was afraid of flying. We live in Far North Queensland a few years back Her Sister, My Aunty and Uncle had Their 50th. They live a couple of hours drive from Perth, Western Australia and We would have to fly to get there. I contacted to let My Aunty's Daughter-in-law to let Her know My Sister and I would be coming for The Surprise Party. She asked "Will Your Mum be coming?" I explained "She's scared of flying! We'd have to knock Her Out, like Mr. T! I think they would notice that at The Airport!" My Cousin's Wife understood. By the way The Surprise 50th Anniversary Party went off without a hitch. It was the day after My Aunty and Uncle's Anniversary and They Never Saw It Coming!
I remember the sense of injustice they felt about situations and correcting it. Plus they didn't just beat the bad guys, they humiliated them. It gave me a sense of justice just as the Dukes did. Thank God for the eighties! How do the youngsters learn that now? It's hugely important. Ask Mr T!
Will, I agree 100%!
Iam 78 yrs old. I loved/love them all.
Murdoch was my favourite character - he was just hilarious. "I need a trash...BAG!!!" lol.
The A team must come back on our screens again
I already loved Murdock. My favorite
I was a kid back then and Mr. T was my fav. I always found it weird that with the amount of bullets flying, they never amounted to anything! Fun to watch anyway.
A-Team and Knight Rider among many more kept me going throughout my childhood x
I Love these show. All the guys where great.god bless them all.
I'm at these guys in Valencia California where they were filming on the back lot of the camp park we lived in, not everybody but Mr T he was my hero wish I could have met him. Murdoch is by far my favorite I watched him playing with the kids during that filming at lunch breaks, he played frisbee, basketball many other things with them I was really impressed. They're really a cool group of guys
Great memories watching this icon from the 80s . I also liked Colonel Decker chasing them cross the country .
I wish I had that van. I would drive it everyday.
Me gustaba verlo todos los dias q lo pasaban es muy bueno lastima q ya no hay programas como estos...
I was born in 83, grew up with this 👊
I love A team,Knight rider,Airwolf,Baywatch,i feel like crying....time move so fast..love from malaysia.
They were the best of the best they don't make them like this anymore 👍
Stay warm and dry out there appreciate the memories you should be proud thanks job well done. Joe
Thank you for this, I loved this show and I loved all of them. Quality 80's Goodness. Do Knightrider or Magnum PI next.
On it!
I will be on the lookout for them for sure!
me too. its really hard to choose any single favorite. I loved them all.
I was born in 1976 so I remember all of the 80s. What a time to grow up. I miss how things was. Today everyone gets together through phones and computers. When I grew up it was hanging out in the park or our houses. We had huge house parties and sports gatherings. Kids nowadays just don't get it. I wouldn't trade my life for any other time in history. Cheers
I know what you mean. I was born 1979. Playing outside everywhere, the best TV programs. It was the best of both worlds.
Mr T is a Icon of the 80's.
One of my favorite shows 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I am missing the show badly, long time fan! Cool but no fool, Excellent cast never replace them with anythings! Not the latest cast of The A Team , 2nd is MacGuyver ❤️ 3rd Magnum P.I ❤️all 1980,90’s built with humor, action and love that todays TV show missed 80%!! Last not least “Dallas” 7th Heaven ❤️ sitcom was family best ever drama on TV!
I was member of The A Team fan club, and owned the action figures. Also fun fact Hannibal Smith was intended to be played by James Coburn, but he turned it down,
Mr. Waternoose
That was my child hood show and Mr T was my favourite in the 1984. I love the orginal show, but I did not like the A-Team show of 2010, to me it had no excitement. The A-Team from the 1980s was the best.
It was my childhood.my favorite was Murdock...got to love the crazies...lol
"Aint gettin on no plane sukka!"
My favourite movie when i was teenager 👍🏿😊😊
Re watching the A Team on Tubi right now. I loved that show as a kid and still do.
Loved the A team when I was growing up,it was on rte 2( Irish TV channel) at 5pm every Saturday, never missed it, there is a channel showing the series,
They were all great, but as a kid I found Murdock hilarious. Always chuckled at the wedding dress reveal in the intro 😆
I love The A-Team it's still better than must modern day TV shows. From Interviews from Derk and Dwight they said they cancelled the show because it was too conservative when the 5th season began. It's really to bad they did because the 5 season was good having them bring in Robert Vaughn was a good idea.
I didn't see the show as conservative. I thought it was about them helping people who were tired of being pushed around.
I didn't like the show when they started working for the US Government after getting captured. It was better when they would work for regular people in need of their help. Season 5 was the worst season in my mind looking back. The first 4 seasons were great!!
@@IceManLikeGervin I disagree with you. I thought it brought the show to a new place. I think they would of still been helping people out but I think season 5 only had 4 or 5 episodes.
@@tanyakasim3988 I agree with you but I was just saying what the two actors thought about it.
@@elskeletor3566 Season 5 had 13 episodes...all working for the US Government while they lived on a CIA compound somewhere in Virginia I believe.
My favorite show in 83, always laughed how they could shoot thousands of round in an episode and not hit a single person.
Oh I love the A Team! My fave has always been Dirk Benedict. But this team is my fave.
oh yes, I never forget them at all I use to watch the whole episode man those where the days.
What a show I had everything you could buy about it as a kid!!! Face was my favourite haha
The best action and comedy series I’ve seen
Mr T guest starred in Diff'rent Strokes and was part of TnT TV series as well. Wow!!!!!
I followed Dirk from Battlestar to this show...but I was 10 when he was on BG and thought he was GORGEOUS at the time. (psst...he still is!
A-Team is not hit-or-miss. A-Team is never hit-always miss 😀
Murdock was brilliant crazy & he can fly any aircraft
I loved the A-Team when I was a kid. I remember being excited whenever it came on. I don't remember one episode, but when the theme song played at the beginning of this video, I remembered every note. I don't know if I want to ever see the movie adaptation because it's not the cast I'm used to, but The A-Team is a treasured part of my childhood!
No the movie don't have any of the original cast members except for 2 that make cameo appearances, one was Dwight Shultz appearing as an actual head doctor and Derk Benedict appearing as a person who's getting out of a tanning booth when Bradley Cooper asked him a question about what tanning lotion to use on his face. The movie was also great!! Very few of these movies made about an old TV shows do I actually like but this one was an exception!! This A-Team movie was fantastic if you like a lot of guns shooting, explosions of various sizes, many cars and trucks flipping over, and there is rarely a dull moment in the movie from beginning to end!!!!!!! If you like action packed movies then you'll love this movie!
Yeah the movie was decent a bit OTT but definitely worth a watch if you’re an A-Team fan 👌
Hello from another A-Team fan here in North Carolina. Yes, although the A-Team movie didn't have any of the original cast members in it but for anyone who is a big fan of the original show will love the movie which does have special appearances from the original "Howling Mad Murdock" and another appearance from the original "Faceman" but Mr. T and George Pepard couldn't make it. It's still an action packed movie right from the beginning to the very end and although it wasn't the original cast members in the movie they did it work 100% full A-Team style and fashion with many large explosions, planes getting blown out of the sky and as well as them flying a tank, no I didn't make a mistake in writing this at all, they really were trying to fly a tank that was in the back of the C-130 that they stole from an Army base in Germany that was TRYING to hold Murdock. Anywho, if you're a true Alpha Team fan and love action packed movies then you'll love the A-Team movie too!! ✝️❤️🙏🇺🇲 WWG1WGA!!!
I never watched it when it was originally on but have really enjoyed watching the reruns. I hope they come back on.
I liked them all and the show was great.
I love it when a plan comes together.
Really looked forward to watching The A~Team when I was a kid when they got locked up in a shed or garage always had the tool's to break out or make some weapons brilliant series gutted when it finished.
Loved every thing about it!
All of them i loved them all
The a team was the best and l loved them l loved it when decker was after them and when Hannibal said l love it when a plan comes together they are all brilliant and l love them all
Always a feel good show
Howlin' Maddog, all the way!! I loved the range and depth of their cons. I do wish they had finally been exonerated before the show quit.
I like Howling Mad Murdock the most, from the LEGENDARY 80s series the A-TEAM
Just loved the builds/contraptions they always came up with. They always started with B.A. ligthing up his torch even if it did'nt require a torch LOL
Loved this show still! Bring it back on HBO
Awesome love these guys
Loved and still love George Peppard
Classic TV show the THE A Team
Prepard had another great quote from battle beyond the stars.. I love watching a professional at work..as vaughn took out ship after ship so smoothly
I still watch it almost everyday
