When he said his family couldn't afford the drinks in a packet when he was a kid and now he's travelling all over the world and has everything he likes, I felt so good! You have come a long way Mikey! Cheers to you!!
It'd be really great if that drink company watched this and then sponsored Mike
I picked up on that too! Amazing
@@loopybrogaming1149 I trust Jesus but how about we all don’t talk about religion cool?

When Mike nods his head yes AND no at the same time, you know it’s good.
Omg you are right!
Oh my days you're so right! I'm embarrassed, he's my guy and I've watched him for years. I just had the chopstick thumping on the table/in air down as code for Mikey really digs this 😂😘
Lol true when Mikey likes it it’s like a bobble head in and earthquake! Just hope our guy is getting some fruit and veg in too
LOL I have never noticed this before and now I cant stop laughing!
I need to start doing this, it looks less ridiculous than just nodding up and down the entire time
I originally started watching your channel because of your 7 Eleven & Vending machine Japan episodes. SO happy to see more 7 Eleven content. I don’t know why, but they fascinate me.
same! binged all the 7 eleven videos and then everything else! 😆
Thats how also i discovered his channel XD
Omfg yes I love the 7 eleven videos my favorite kind of videos

Living in the UK I’m always envious when I see these kind of convenience store videos! I would love that amount of choice in a store near me 😍
I was in Tokyo for 2 months and discovered the 7-11. I was blown away by the quality. Love the egg salad.
What do they have in the uk convenience stores?
Imagine a student budget, you could eat fabulously I imagine
@@marcs8991 Generally just overpriced regular essential groceries. Bread, tins, snacks, milk etc. Sometimes there will be some sad looking fresh veg or a freezer of ice cream and microwave meals. The quality of our ready meals pales in comparison to any of the Asian meals.
@@marcs8991 just mini chin supermarkets and chain convenience stores. Some sell decent stuff but it’s hit and miss.
Mike enjoying Korean convenience store food more than Disney USA…. Priceless.
From the looks of it, I think I would too! 😂
There is thing in Asia and its called FLAVOR :D
This guy is so relaxing to watch ngl. Just hop into bed, turn this guy on, and drift off to sleep watchin this guy eat
every night man
I could agree with this, I love to just watch the ramen videos he posts. Then I also rewatch the older 7-eleven video from japan every so often
This was me last night lol. Finished off the rest of the video in morning.
He's also calming to watch when having bad anxiety.... his videos are calming
Yup me too! Every night & every morning! I love Mikey Chen!
I've never been to a 7-11 but I love watching these videos

Don't expect anything decent if you go to a 7-Eleven in the US. Yeah, I'm in the US.
Patterrz!!!

seeing Mike actually struggling with a spicy dish is slightly mind-blowing
that potato chip with pho broth is definitely just a prison hack LOL.
I always come to your channel when I'm having a bad anxiety ridden day. It helps me relax, and it's truly entertaining. Thank you ☺️
Same!
That last sandwich with the egg and tuna and jam is actually their version of the sandwich that's originally from the Korean show Inkigayo. It's the Inkigayo sandwich and it's super popular with guests of the show.
That’s what I thought too!! all the kpop idol dating stories stem from inkigayo sandwiches lol
i live in america wayyy down in the south and the only food we have in these kind of stores is hot dogs, fried chicken, and various other fried foods so i’m extremely jealous watching him eat all that but i love watching it at the same time lol
Saving this video so I can rewatch it before I go to Seoul in a few months because I need to remember those hacks! There's just something magical about the convenience stores over there ✨ Thanks for another great video!
Definitely get the Vifon pho he got, I was surprised he seemed to not have tried it before. I've been getting those in California for like ten years, so depending on where you live you could probably find that exact soup at an Asian market. Have fun in Korea.
@@adriennefloreen Thanks so much! I'll have to check some of my local shops and see if any of them have it 👀
@@WhereTheLocalsRoam If they have the "instant vifon foods section" get the instant rice porridge too. You can order them online too, some are gluten free too and some are not, as I said above I am allergic to gluten but not MSG so I couldn't eat the one he ate, there is gluten in the sauce, there is not gluten in many of their instant rice based foods though.
Mike has officially mastered the one handed sauce pouch squeeze.
I always always wish we had convenience store food like this. With the same price 😭
Especially the sandwiches without the crust!
$5 pack of cigs and $1.50 soju. Open 24/7 and won't need to walk more than a minute before you find one.
U come to india u can get a burger for a dollar 50
@@mathewlouis4027 yeah that taste and smells like shit
Mike eating the egg, tuna and jam sandwich reminds me of Joey eating Rachel’s English trifle. Jam good, meat gooood. 😄
🤣🤣🤣🤣
talking about how your family couldn't afford drinks in a packet to traveling around the world doing stuff you love. it feels really good to see how far you've come, Mike. ❤️
The fact that Mike Chen sponsors healthy food/drinks and right after goes to a 7-eleven and buys not-so-healthy food 😄🤣😅
What I've always been slowly waiting for and watching build was that as you make more and more videos of visiting convenience stores, your choices will become more esoteric and involve suggestions too and I love that. I think the epitome of that for me was the moment when you could just leave your crib for five minutes or so and come back with more good food just like that that's awesome (as I was typing this you literally say in vid the same so I think that rly solidifies my point lol) It's always a treat and so relaxing and a genuinely good time to watch these and I'm always excited when I find out a new one has dropped. Whenever I'm not in Japan I'm just generally less satsified with food and these videos regardless of which country you're visiting give me that taste of home and quality and I'm grateful for that. Also, I was thinking about how I wanna try some of those combinations at the start and it made me realize or I guess remember that most people would eat like one item as an entire meal huh 😅🤣
Among the food culture of Korea, special things that distinguish it from the food culture of other countries. // 1. Perfect vegan food represented by Korean Buddhist temple food 2. An endless variety of soup dishes 3. Kimchi: Vegetables fermented with animal protein represented by cabbage kimchi. In the past, only Koreans made and ate it. There are over 800 types of kimchi. 4. Jeotgal: A fermented animal-based sauce made from seafood. In Korea, there are more than 140 different types of salted fish. 5. Ssam: It means wrapping all the ingredients you want to eat in various leafy vegetables represented by lettuce. However, unlike burritos, you have to swallow them in one bite, so you need to adjust the amount of ingredients to be wrapped appropriately. 6. Herbal Medicine Ingredients : Herbal medicine ingredients are not only eaten for special diseases or health, but are also often used for general home cooking. For example, as ingredients for Samgye-tang, Mulberry, Tree Aralia, Eleutherococcus Sessiliflorus, Mongolian Milkvetch, Korean Angelica, Ginger, Jujube and Korean Ginseng are used. 7. Namul : South Korea is the country that eats the most dishes made with only vegetables without meat and seafood protein. Namul are foods made with one edible plant as the main ingredient. Examples of the types of Namul include Shepherd's Purse, Stringy Stonecrop, Korean Angelica-tree, Korean Wild Chive, Butterbur, Bracken, Doellingeria Scabra, Bamboo Shoot, Chamnamul and Cirsium Setidens. // Etc... Korea shows a distinctly different food culture from neighboring countries in Far East Asia (China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Japan).

I miss Korean convenience stores so much! Like Mike, my family wasn’t rich and I only got to go recently (to teach). I love and miss the high quality 7/11 meals. CU always had yummy snacks.
Now I am heading to the store for random ramens. Every time Mike! Every time!
I lived in Korea nine years and never found much joy in convenience stores. I am glad you do.
Mikey you need to go to Chinatown in Korea and try the Korean-Chinese style Jia Jiang Myun, Jjang Pong and also Dak Galbi (Chicken ribs?) It's very delicious.
Yo my blood pressure went through the roof watching you eat all that sodium and MSG ramen 😂😂😂
I really LOVE when Mikey is in Korea❤ he looks so happy eating all the foods and I love convenience food reviews!!!! Thank you for the fun video Mikey! We appreciate your hardwork🙏
Excited!!!! Yay Mike is in Korea .. I love all your travel videos, especially those in korea... Can't wait for more.. hope you and your wife have a great time there, and also stay safe Mike...
There are the noodle soups that have the sealed bag of non freeze-dried meat. Comes up pretty well I would get one and have some buns with it for lunch on a Friday as the office was too far from the shops to get lunch
Videos like these always makes me feel envious. 7/11's in Korea and Japan are on another level
In Thailand too , they have really good food there
The only thing you can get from a convenience store over here are sandwiches, hot dogs and packed ready meals... I love watching 7/11 videos since we don't have those stores let alone the food over here 😍
we have 7/11s but they just got crack heads 😂
The way mike enjoys food makes me super happy for some reason
These are the best videos. I love any 7-Eleven or convenience store food videos. Keep them coming! 💕
I watch a few people eat all the time but every time I watch Mike my mouth stays salivating the whole time and even though I know I don't have whatever he is eating but omg he makes me believe my quick heat up snack is worth it lol
The Egg and Tuna Salad sandwich with a layer of jam in the middle really reminds me of the trifle episode of Friends 🤭😄"What's not to like? Custard? Goood. Jam? Goood. Meat? Gooood!" Love it! 🥰
I have been watching you for years trying delicious foods from around the world and I swear I can taste the food you are eating as you are eating it....no joke. You You tube channel is the best !!

The best 711 I’ve ever visited and tasted have been in Taiwan. You need to go there and do a 711 show. They got them delicious Japanese rice balls. Delicious chinese congee and just yummy food I’ve never seen at any 711 anywhere else in world. Not even in Japan. My visit was about 6~7 years ago but hopefully they haven’t changed much since.
Watching him eat makes me so happy lol. Idk he just genuinely enjoys the food 🥺
A 7-11 video! Yaaaaaaaaay! Love those convenience store vlogs 😍
Outside of cup noodle which would always be the noodles I would get if anything. I started to venture to other instant soups. It's actually kind of mind blowing when they're good!
Love watching these videos while eating my own cheap instant noodles 😅 it elevates the flavour yk
I saw that 2nd sandwich you ate and it just reminded me that I've always wanted to make an Inkigayo sandwich. Already had instant kimchi noodles for breakfast too! lol
These are my favorite videos AND when he tries the vending machine food!! 🙌🏾👏🏾
It’s always good to see another praise convenience store video. These are the food videos that matter the most if you’re on the go and traveling in other countries where you need a bite to eat but don’t want to hit Uber eats or try to find a restaurant.
I was just falling asleep to your 7-Eleven playlist last night 😅 Great to have another addition! The little Tiger on the banner outside of the first location was so cute! Happy New Year!🎊
I love 711 convinience store vids. Thanks Mike👍🏽
It's funny how Mike can go to the best restaurant and eat amazing noodles that took a huge amount of time and effort and his reaction is exactly the same when he eats instant noodles from a convenience store.
Looking forward to Part II of the Instant Noodle Special when you come back here to STL!!
Makes me want to go to S Korea, just to visit those convenience stores! Looks soooo good! You also describe your eating experience so well, Mike. It’s almost like eating with you
this is the video/ mukbang i needed for today YUUUUUM!
What amazes me is how much food he can consume and still staying in shape im full just watching how much he eats x some very interesting foods there x
Nothing better than a Mikey Video to make the day better!
When you get back to the states and into Texas, I highly recommend trying some local (west?) African restaurants. My favorite is the Egusi soup with Eba/Garri, Jollof rice, moin-moin, and the meat pies
Ethiopian restaurants with the injira are wonderful as well. The corridor from Baltimore through Richmond is becoming known as a destination for world cuisine foodies. My son is just in high school but he started eating cuisines we all didn't have growing up before he got out of toddler status. He learned how to use chop sticks before he started Kindergarten. He eats raw fish on sushi as well (sushi is the rice). I feel so very fortunate to live in this area but also to have grown up in the military so people didn't think it was weird or special for me to use chopsticks.
Convenience store mukbang would always be my favorite content from mike
Dude, ur blessed to be able to scarf down anything. Truly a gift.
Awesome food review! Pretty much I'd eat any & all of it, except the strawberry jam /tuna/ egg sandwich. Thanks Mikey!
