It's that time of the year again. Here's a video showing the UI evolution of Apple's iOS, from version 1.0 released in 2007 up to the present with iOS 17 preview!

  • I literally remember downloading the iOS 7. I was at my grandmas house in the night and I downloaded it. I remember being a little confused because I was not used to any of it. I was so used to the old iOS look at this and I’m like oh man nostalgia.😂

    • The iPhone 7 never ran iOS 9. It came with iOS 10 in 2016. iOS 9 came out with the iPhone 6s in 2015

  • Still crazy seeing the change from iOS 6's skeuomorphic design to iOS 7's flat design. Ah, the debates over that raged...and still do honestly. I used to think it was a big loss because I thought skeuomorphic design was cool as hell back then, but as I've gotten older I can appreciate how flat design can make things less cluttered and clunky. Plus we're all pretty much used to touch screens by now.

    • @@firat5025 Thanks, the only thing I think I missed is that the minor UI changes like animations (I have 'em turned off) and more rounded ui (Not for IPhone SE users) the only apple product I use right now is my IPhone 12, but I don't think it was worth the upgrade from IPhone XS Max. New IPones are just copy+paste and I'm considering switching to some type of Xiaomi because I heard you can install custom OS pretty easily.
