THAT my friend was excellent. Certainly among the best, if not THE BEST, information I’ve seen to date on KZhead. Kudos to you………and I’ve subscribed, natch!
Very nice explanation
This was awesome and thank you very much 🏌🏽♀️this came in so handy !! I just subscribed and liked 👍🏾
Nicely done BUT next time please make your arrow more visible (size, color, shape, something). There are several places where I can't see what you've done to make a certain thing happen (*eg. turn the bottom into a larger view of audio to select better).
Thank's a lot . it was awesome :)
Great video! however I feel a bit imitated and overwhelmed, since I have zero knowledge on wall this internet stuff... will have to listen to it again. Saving the video to watch it again later. Thank you again !!
Thanks a lot for this! Went through the entire tutorial for my first time (currently setting up a new mic, Rode NT USB). It was pretty informative tutorial guiding me how to use Garage Band! It would be great if you could go about creating another video on how to set-up the EQs on the next step! Thanks again!
Great idea! Thanks!
Thanks so much for the video! Super helpful for a beginner like me :) 1 question though - if I'm not using any pro tools to do post-production and I just want to upload the file, would you still recommend WAVE format over MP3? And would you still do 'export file' over 'share to iTunes'? Any tips for the final steps of sharing and uploading would be great. Thanks again!
We typically recommend uploading an MP3 file to your hosting platform for sharing on Apple, Google, etc.
Do you know why garage band files are saved so much larger than audacity files?
Can u guys do one using your zoom h6 with GarageBand I really would like to start a podcast but have some many questions
Great idea. Thank you for the suggestion!
Great app and techniques, but post editing by a team of professionals isn't practical. I was looking for a simple way to improve sound quality of a live recording. I purchased a simple (cheap) USB mixer/EQ to adjust the native microphone output.
have you found a good video who does that?
Happy to help! If you can't afford post-production at Resonate, we have a list of the best podcast editing software tools for our DIY community out here. I hope this helps! resonaterecordings.com/podcast-production/podcast-software/
Great video. Does garage band have a time limit for recording a track? Will I be able to record a 60 minute track for my podcast?
Yes, you will.
Yes, you can definitely record more than 60 minutes in Garageband.
What if you don't have a post production team?
All I need to know is, is there a way of marking sections you may want to delete?
Yes! You can add an Arrangement Marker to sections of your audio for deleting later. This help article shows the steps: support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/garageband/gbnd8431c634/mac
I've watched the section five times. Where do you "Get Info"?
command + i
work
Will this work offline?
Yes. Garageband can work 100% offline!
Could you talk any slower and use an even smaller cursor? Great stuff but hard to follow that cursor.
Noted!
INFURIATING! This tutorial does not come across as a video that teaches the user skills, but advocates that the user turning effects off (not explaining how to use them) with an attitude of "we know how to use them and you never will."
Hi George, We're sorry for the experience you had with this video. We never mean to belittle anyone in our audience, and try to make sure our content is as educational as possible to help make podcasting easier and offer services to those who are interested. It can be difficult teaching from a beginner's perspective, but that is our goal; so thank you for helping us get closer to it. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so that we can improve upon this in future tutorials! -Isabella from Resonate
Some really good information, but I have barely finished 5 minutes, and I can't help but feel this is one those "here are the basics - you are too stupid to do the production yourself" ads - way too self serving - post editing by a group of professionals is expensive and only YOU know exactly what you want. Will comment different if the tone of this video changes.
