Glad to see Braun. Hands down the most competent guy of all the folks you wheel with besides dirtlifestyle.
TSTN Roots!
Braun easily made me get more intimate with my gladiator. Making repairs on the trail is top tier.
Gotta get @dirtlifestyle back on a trip!
Nate ìs a very expeiranced skilled wheeler but ill be the first to admit not all goes as planned... safe wheeling and lots of skinny peddle
Braun is the man. He’s one of those guys you want in your team for stuff like this.
Braun is the guy that brings a sketchy truck on the ride but can fix anything with a paperclip and bubblegum. Good man.
Can't believe that's an actual trail, so overgrown and dosent look like it's maintained much, exploring is the best type of wheeling I think
We don’t have “trails” in BC, they are all old logging or mining roads… many lead to nice camp spots like lookouts or scenic lakes!
My favourite type. It’s why I started doing this.
Braun will climb a mountain with 3 wheels, no radiator ,a hole in the engine, while on fire like its nothing. I know you guys are not a build channel but you really need to do a episode just fixing his rig
Editing that would kill shawn and be nothing but bleeped out whole sentences lol ppl would think there's somthing wrong with the sound
BRAUN!!! Was wondering where his beauty 4Runner was. When the SHTF happens he’s the guy you want on your team.
Dude, great job with the music on this video. I barely noticed it at all, only in a few spots. Much better viewing experience. I enjoyed hearing more of the jeeps, and you guys talking your way through the obstacles. Keep it up
Thanks for the feedback!
Agreed, I want to hear engines revving and tires spinning... not music.
Couldn't agree more!
You have to go back for part 4 when there’s no snow! Break that trail man! 💪
We probably will, but there's not much up there except a dead end it looks like. There's a lot more on the other side of the valley, but I haven't quite worked out how to or if you can get over there yet.
@@TheStoryTillNowthere’s always a way, gotta get out into these places and keep them open or open them back up, we are loosing a lot of our tracks back here in Australia simply to them being swallowed by the bush
@@TheStoryTillNow A trip that needs to be finished!
Braun is like chuck Norris, he is so bad ass he uses a spud bar for a walking stick🤘
In Indonesia we use steel slings that connect the end of the engine hood to the top of the car's a-pillars to reduce damage from tree branches or other things hitting the glass.
Gotta love an old logging road that hasn't been explored in years... Makes for a great adventure 😎
Lost places are common, but those lost trails are something else. Exploration never gets old, if you are getting more and more into it. It's that curiosity, the story that the lost road can tell and where it leads. I really hope, your dedication will be rewarded. That can't be it!
Budget build vs “money is no problem” build!!
I love seeing that epic first gen 4R. 🤙🏼 the round headlight conversion is fantastic. The fact he did this crazy trail with no clutch is absolutely wild. One of my favorite videos so far. Braun continues to be one of my favorite of your companions and seems to be one of the best spotters you’ve had. Keep up the great videos.
This is the content I think of when I think of The Story Till Now
He'll ya!
It’s good to see there are real men that live in Canada, your buddy drives a Toyota and still smokes cigarettes! 🤣💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Another awesome video!
Braun’s an OG.
Heck yeah! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
whoa, i recently started googling Jeeps since i need to buy a proper car for my fishing trips and algo gods suggested your channel - amazing content, binge watching everything for the last couple of days! Shame we don't have such amazing trails in EU...
SOO glad you went back. I would have been tempted as well. Nice 4Runner on board. The Tokyo consortium is pleased - even if the 4Runner (sounds like) is imperial-powered? lol Looks like he just needed some bump guidance. Does he not have lockers?? Old snow is a buggar to deal with. Trail (re)building/breaking is a great experience, and a skill to hone. Sometimes it makes all the diff. Great video. As always. Stay safe and happy trails! 👍
Not impearial powered its 1uz v8 powered lexus/toyota and locker will be working for next trip
Braun is back! Solid video
Sean, it would be interesting to hear the history of that road. It looks to me like it’s an abandoned logging access road and with your long winters I can see where it would become impossible on a short period of time.
Awesome video as always Shaun. This was an epic adventure Thanks for letting us ride along with y’all on y’all’s adventures.
There's always something that feels good about putting some love into a trail so that someone else can come out. Thanks as always for sharing, Shaun!
great video Sean.Reminds me of our 80's trips with mildly modified Toyotas.Bron's a savage.
Just so people who haven't went down these trails know, all this stuff looks small on camera, but those washouts are well over 7ft deep. Also braun should be a regular on TSTN
Braun is WILD, i love it. Keep up the amazing content!
Love that video Shawn. It’s always awesome to see old and over grown hard trails that you gotta work on along the way.
love to chilling with your videos.keep it up brother.cheers from greece!
Always awesome to see Braun going to war! Great video as always Shaun! Keep it up 🤟😎
Awesome video and awesome trail. Just some pure off-road. Thanks for sharing this.
Great video Shaun as always. I figured it would be 3 times the charm and it was done. Well maybe four times the charm. Braun's new rig sounds awesome, once he gets the rear locker and a clutch in it it will be a beast. Thanks for sharing.
I do this in Alberta following 40yr old cutlines. Go for miles.
Those mountains are totally awesome, I can certainly see why they call to you. Thanks for taking us along!
That's the same kind of stuff my friends and I used to do when we were little kids for our BMX bicycles and then our dirt bikes. If there wasn't a trail, we'd build a trail!
lol, I bought leaf springs from that dude out of that garage
I really enjoyed this one. It clearly showed the struggles and joys of exploring BC.
That's pretty extreme, good stuff!
Just make sure you have a smoke in your yapper when your building a road as well.😅
Such a great video Shaun! Love seeing that Gladiator take on such difficult terrain, same for Brauns rig. Great vehicles for that territory!
Absolutely a wicked video, looking forward to seeing your next video
Seriously awesome content man and this was epic as always y'all do amazing in showing what out there to be discovered
Thats a nice Vw GLI in the beginning! It’s hard to find clean ones anymore
Ÿa its a bro of mines from hi school he traded it for his truck tho? That gli has tuned 350hp 1.8t 6spd fun car thing rips!
Great video grew up wheeling on the Island brought back some memories 😊
So Awesome to see Braun out with you i know his new Rig will be tough when he works out the gremlins. That old abandoned trail is so cool !!
Great sense of accomplishment, you guys are like the modern day version of Lewis and Clark, but that looks way too much like work lol
Damn! That Gladiator with the 426 engine and 40 inch tires will go almost anywhere. Next best thing to a logging Scheeter
Ya just about as heavy too. thing is planted tho
Well this worked out well, my daughter had a track meet all day and I got come home and have dinner and a little TSTN for dessert. Might be time to invest in some limp riser 😂
Some top notch trail building right there 💪🏼
❤👍Thanks For The Ride !!
Love the new tail lights on the Trail Destroyer!!
Hey Shaun, you might already know this but you can toggle the inbuilt DRL mode on the KC Gravity headlights. I used JScan to set DRL mode to 50% high beams which stops it flickering and set it to turn on once the handbrake is off. It looks quite good imo 😊
Hello, looks like alot of work to progress forward on the trail
Another beautiful ride through Canada's rockies.
Haha nice 🤘🏼 ive always found low range to want to dig in more than high range in sand and snow because of the torque but i guess it depends on your gearing
#BRITISHCOLUMBIA #EPIC These guys are 4x4 royalty, and i have so much respect for these guys and #THESTORY #LETSGO
You have some amazing trails my friend
You guys are surrounded by lumber and mines... Come back towing a mill and forge and build a bridge already! lol, Seriously, though, a couple 2x12's with 2x6's under neath for the load part and a few 18' bolts from Home Depot should do the trick... Awesome Vid guys! I am looking forward to part 4!
Great video and awesome "trail." 😁 I like manual transmission in my Jeep for situations like this at 20:57
I have no ideal what drives you to go this far off grid. That dude with you leaves some question. Let’s just say WOW ! Good watch.
Commenting for the algorithm. Appreciate you getting this video up even on the road!!!
Beautiful scenery.
If there's a will or a way Braun will find it
You guys are awesome. At least you don't worry about scratching up your rigs. And you push them to the limit.
Enjoyed this one thanks
Y'all really need a battery powered chainsaw. Ever since I got one, it's made trail life effortless.
They have them. Handsaw was used where possible to save batteries when heading toward the unknown. Just in case there ended up being a bunch of full size tree's down etc
@@curtis604 They all have inverters, etc. Always keep them charged and in rotation
@@TexasStormChaser We keep those extremely busy with the camera/drone batteries as it is 😅.. Could use if needed though, but the handsaw is easy'ish to save some batt
@@curtis604 I use a Goal Zero 3000X with the vehicle integration kit. Unlimited powerrrrr
So close again great job on the bad section 's love this channel ❤
Another fantastic adventure. Livin the dream...
34 year old rig keeping up with the best of them. TOYOTA for the win!
Always wonderful!
Love the videos you make crazy stuff
I would certainly not be driving, even moderate level off-road without a clutch and a manual transmission.
Rear lockers are your friend, you don't necessarily need a front locker, but a rear locker will take you nearly anywhere.
Once again, great video
Wish we’d be there to help with the mission. Keep it going!
27:00 I know on this trip it is getting late in the day, but if you wanted to cross that could you bring a Yukon Mill (a device that uses a chainsaw to cut boards) to cut some planks to make a bridge deck?
Cut that log into 8ft sections and stack them into that creek.
One of your best videos....
I think I heard you say Braun couldn't get his clutch master cylinder to bleed, so he's running without a working clutch. How is that possible? Anyway, another great video!
Because he’s Braun 👍🏻
@@TheStoryTillNow I would seriously like to know what he did/does. I have that same truck and it could come in handy sometime in the back country.
Disconect the N safety switch put in 1st or reverse and hit the key away you go.it helps that truck weighs less than 4500lbs and the 1uz v8 moves it like nothing
@@Braun4x4BC That's a good work around!
momentum really helps, instead of just trying to dig ones way through a washout.
Bron your the man!!
Braun
So they say I just like to geterdone!
Badass content!!!
At least now the ground isn't as frozen and maybe you can move it around ... Guess I'll continue watching and see!
So awesome video lovet
Selamat pagi mister. Semoga sehat n sukses slalu.
Awesome!
How are those dobinsons rear springs holding up so far?
With what you guys go through on these videos I think you should bring a few of those long leverage bars and maybe some Dynamite LOL
Bin thinking about make a scoop that u put on the winch like cable bucket/ boatancor
What PSI are you at in that JT and what sized tires ?
You need two weeks and a Uni-Mog to make it through that trail
Does Maxtrax make a portable bridging section? Ten or Twelve ft. long with girders. You could strap it on the roof
We were actually talking about how a fold out ramp bridge type thing would have been great for this.
I can't believe you're actually cook at Toyota out there, it in the condition it was in
Had 2 me and shawn always have such a good time anychance I get to go wheel with him I take it .he is very busy these days guys got a family too dont know how he does it?
I need a part 4
You need a CAT bachoe attachment for your trailer hitch
Need a flail mower attachment for your rig.
Hey, which Drone do you use?
🔥🔥
How about doing the BDR roads?
Who makes those taillights on the Trail Destroyer?
Forbidden mountains are forbidden. Please don’t stop trying tho!
Good vidio 😊
Oh wow, I was expecting this video in the morning. Have you permanently changed your debut time? I totally missed the live chat
I was a bit late getting the video done, but I might start posting later in the day. It seems to work better.
Gotta do them Sunday afternoon/evening. More people would probably be able to enjoy the premiere as most people work Monday to Friday. I know when I'm at work on Mondays I try to sneak in the time to watch it, it rarely works though and then I forget about it 🤦♂️ @TheStoryTillNow
