I'm amazed they haven't ditched this shitty skate design that lets blades just pop out like that. Sure it saves some seconds changing blades but come on now, couldn't they make it take a quarter turn of a knob or something like that? Not a latch you can easily press? Heck if I was a player I'd be looking to see if I could intentionally dislodge someone else's skate blade while scrambling for the puck, because that would be one heck of an advantage to be able to press.
