  • "I always say you need TWO players to make these kind of points." Such wise words from someone so young... while most are only obsessed with who won the point - Jannik seems like he really appreciates the beauty of a point like that. Lovely young man.

  • We are witnessing the the birth of what i hope is a tantalizing rivalry between these two monsters. Their encounters are gargantuan battles for tennis supremacy and history. Jannik is already proving to be more than what Carlos can handle, at times. I see how Carlos's demeanor changes when Jannik is determined to resist. He gets under Carlos's skin, and that's a very good thing for both players and the sport. Hopefully we will be enthralled by many battles between them for a good longtime. Both players are elevating the men's game and all players will have to keep up. This match was incredibly brutal. More to come. Now Jannik has his hands full again vs Danil. Good luck Jannik 😊🎉❤

Purtroppo i trofei contano.

    • As far as the changes in his game go, generally he added a lot more variety. But let's put things into perspective: Whatever he changed opposed to last week wasn't working that great since he was still 67 34 30-40. The result could have been very similar. However, Carlos completely went away from that moment onwards, winning 2 out of 17 points, comitting loads of errors and double faults, like he had short circuit all of a sudden, until early 3rd set where he regrouped. Sinner was more consistent this time and played extremely well like he always does. He stayed in the match mentally as well.

    • @@RallyVozac Carlos doesn't need a lot more time for setting up shots, very compact movements. What Djokovic does do very well, and what you can see in both Alcaraz and now Sinner, is using many different angles. Sinner used to hit a bit like Berdych - missiles on the baseline. But he's added a lot of variety, using short angles, some more dropshots, some slices. He's still taking the ball early and the dude can strike, but this is a good addition which may definetely help him vs Medvedev in the finals as well. Should be a chessmatch.

    • He didn't convert the match point he had. Whose fault is it? Who deserves credit for saving it? Carlos. And he deserved to win the USO

  • J' avais lu de lui qu il est sous estimé . Certains n' étaient pas d' accord, pourtant c' est assez vrai , selon moi. il n' a jamais trop été annoncé comme un futur top mondial, pourtant s' il garde la forme ça sera le cas.

  • He was asked if it's the best and he politely said it was one of them. Honestly, Jannik was defeating Carlos first few matches so it's not really a bigv deal. Beating Danil, now that might be special.
