Dream's Prison, aka Pandora's Vault, is said to be an inescapable prison made to contain Dream SMP's enemies, and one specific highly capable individual. Theories have been going around about who that individual is, and in today's video, we look at the recent events, relationships between members and decide who might end up in the prison. Many think that the prisoner will either be Techoblade, Tommyinnit, Tubbo, Sapnap, Quackity, or Ranboo, but thanks to some conversations that happened between Dream and other members, we get a good idea of who it could be.

I mean he died but he's not a threat to Dream's goals, he's a wandering soul that's forgets things and don't know what's happening. Dream would want to lock up someone who is a real danger to his plans, I don't think Techno because he's on his own and doesn't want to take over power since he's anarchist. Tubbo and Tommy might be the targets but they are not that strong and powerful enough to take down Dream. What if, that's just hypothetical but, what if Ranboo was Dream's target? He recently started to be a very important character to the lore, he's friends with Dream's enemies, he got taken care by the Blade himself and hardcore boi Philza. He's quite strong and the most important thing is that he's currently the only one who understood that Dream was the one who's responsible for all the chaos and the wars that happened, and he tried to convince everyone one about that and maybe reunite them, if that happened that would have been a very bad thing for Dream's plans. So that would be a reason why Dream would capture him and never let him escape and go to talk to his friends (and that would cause another mindbreak on Ranboo like in his panic room which would develop his character even more) So the "if you can't kill" for Ranboo would be about the fact that he's currently protected by Phil and Techno, and quite many others, and again he's well stuffed himself, but he *knows* , and that can be a problem for Dream

Personally, I believe Ph1lza will go in the main cell. The whole hardcore thing they lean into means if he dies he will be a ghost or gone, if he's locked up Dream will have almost complete control over Techno as he sees Phil as his friend he is willing to die for. And if he's locked up it will give a lore reason for him not being on as much while he focuses more on his hardcore world.

Remember when Dream found Tommy and Techno in L’manberg a bit back? And Techno defended Tommy because Dream didn’t use his favor and Tommy was his ally? Well Dream cause have easily killed Tommy then, especially cause he didn’t realize Techno would defend him making it just him vs Tommy, so I think he was about to put Tommy in the prison. Possibly the main room for the added drama lmao

That’s true, however, that also means dream has officially won against tommy and as we all know dream has the strongest force on the server currently, meaning no one can really touch him. On the flip side if he does kill tommy, like the guy who made this video said, that means he can’t have fun with tommy. Dream said that he thought their story would never end most likely meaning, in my mind, that neither he nor tommy will die.

@@quantum_leaf Yeah,Dream will drag out their conflict as long as he can. Tommy wants to put an end to their story but Dream doesn't want to cuz as he has said he finds it too fun. Tommy is the only person on the server who is overly attached to something which makes their conflict special as its been a game of tug of war where Dream has just been holding the rope as Tommy pulls it as much as he can.

Putting tommy or tubbo in that thing is like using an rgp to kill a cockroach, I think its phil or techno because dream mentioned "capable" which would refer to someone who is actually capable of putting up a fight. tommy and tubbo don't fit that description.

To be honest, it's probably a foreshadowing for Dream himself. Let me explain; everyone in the SMP, whether it's be mr "Technoblade never dies" Technoblade or good ol' Tommyinnit has 3 canon lives. If said 3 lives disappear, they actually die (like what happened to Wilbur). In the DSMP reddit, Wilbur (I think) ,who is practically the main kinda writter of the roleplay, made a post that gives a list of everyone's canon lives and how many they have left, and even though Dream has canonically died once (crashed by a cart) beside his name was a question mark. In some other posts by the mods (again, not sure) it was written "Dream: 1/X" which lead people to believe Dream doesn't have the usual 3 lives limit like everyone else. Makes sense, server can't run without their moderators. So, in conclusion, even with Techno's skills, or Tommy's indestructible protagonist plot armour, Dream is the the most unkillable person in the SMP. And with his route and status on the hit list, people might find out soon when they try to kill him to stop his chaotic spree. "if you can't kill them, lock them away" which is probably what they are gonna do. That concludes my completely useless essay.
I actually complete agree with you, and I don't think that long comments are useless. They open up room for discussion, which is always a lot of fun. There is definitely a chance that Dream will be the one to be put in the prison (although that would take a lot of effort), but I don't think that that's going to happen. From a storytelling point of view, the scenario you are suggesting makes sense, but due to the aspect of generating content for the fans, and Dream not streaming/making videos on the Dream SMP, I think the prisoner being Tommy/Tubbo/Techno is higher. Again, great idea, still could happen.

That is also a high possibility. In many greek stories (much like Theseus's) the biggest destroyer was hubris, overwhelming pride. Dream has the entire SMP by the balls and is technically like Atlas (the strongest Titan) or Kronos (the king of Titans). if anything Dream's only real defeat will be sealed away inside of his own vault

Dream has said that while the main cell is not intended for Tommy, he might end up in a mini-cell in the future, so Tommy is definitely not going into the prison. My guess is Quackity is the one going in. The main reasons I think it’s Quackity instead of Tubbo is that A. It has to be someone Dream perceives as a threat. Dream has said that it has to be someone who is dangerous enough to seriously threaten him, and given his monologue on Tubbo’s incompetence, it is clear that he doesn’t see Tubbo as a threat. He even said in his monologue, “Quackity is more of a president than you!” Indicating that he sees the political power Quackity had over L’manburg. Also, Quackity has opposed dream constantly in the past. B. It has to be someone he can’t kill outright. Quackity, while on his last canon life, does have this rule apply to him. The main reason being he has good relations with nearly everyone on the server, including George and Sapnap, two of Dreams biggest allies. If dream killed Quackity, this would drive away many of his supporters, so instead he could imprison him. There are other reasons, but these are the two big ones. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

it's honestly really confusing, techno matches up with being highly capable, not able to kill but can be contained. not an ally of the *dream smp* and could do 'bad' (defined from dream) things to the dream smp (land). however they are neutral, have implied that they aren't friends but allies. and techno *could* escape. however wouldn't be very correct looking in animatics, dream seeing him behind the cell or something? i can't vision that in an animatic lol. *but* they are _allies_ *not* friends, that wouldn't be total betrayal if dream were to imprison techno, they are neutral. not good, _neutral_ . dream could also be trying to manipulate of some sort into techno's brain that he is an ally, unlikely to 'betray' him. kinda similar to how in exile dream manipulated tommy to make tommy think dream was his friend. techno could escape yes but that is just more plot and content for the server. animatics could find a way. tommy seems like a possibility, but i just don't see it happening soon at least. way too much plot, and there were 2-3 arcs between a span of 1-2 days, damn. not to mention his exile arc and (aka) manipulated/traumatized/depressed arc hit hard and it was pretty recent. there has to be like some sort of cooldown lmao but seriously it's just like 10 arcs hit you at the span of 1-2 months. he's not highly capable, however he is capable. but not highly capable. he can be killed easily, or at least by dream. he's got _1_ canon life. but he could also want to make tommy stay for a while, well since i can't see tommy dying anytime soon and dream could also want to give some time to himself to make a grand scheme or something idk phil maybe but that mans 32+ is dream really gonna wanna kill a 30 year old while he's in his early 20s lmao but seriously i don't see it happening, unless it's a mini cell.

Which is a direct reference to Techno, Tommy has died multiple times, that’s why he’s on his last canon life. I feel like Tommy will be put in one of the prison cells, but just not the main “inescapable” one, that’s probably for Techno.

I think Pandoras box will be a way for them to canonically reset the server when the new update happens. If everyone gets put in Pandoras box, I think it would be more like a Noahs Arc situation... they all go in, have a stream or two trapped in the prison, then they stage a break out they can break out into 1.17. This would allow them to introduce the new content.

I don't think that Techno is that easily convinceable (how do you spell that?????), since all he wants is to have no governments, not to go to war with people. He is currently in retirement and has finished lmanburg fully. I'd say that if Dream locked up Techno, the situation might be a lot worse for Dream than it is now, as (logically) Techno will want revenge. If Dream captures Phil, Techno might actually go mad and summon all of his remaining withers in DreamSMP, as Phil is his only friend that he knows will stick with him. Either way, Dream will probably not imprison Techno and/or Phil, because it would become a lot harder to control the smp

I think its Ranboo. When people know what his other half is, it may need to be contained.
I can totally see dream pulling something on tommy saying "Get in the vault or Tubbo dies" or to Tubbo saying "Get in the vault or Tommy dies". Even as strong as the vault is, it would only take him a couple streams of solid punching his way out to get out, so the threat of tommy/tubbo dying if they escape would certainly keep them in.

Nah, it's gonna be Schlatt. Notice how one of the criteria is someone he can't kill. Schlatt is all but confirmed to be revived later on, so it would make sense to want to imprison him because of past events. An argument could also be made that he is highly capable of escaping aswell.
i HIGHLY doubt it's for Schlatt. like it's obvious, but that's the whole point - it's GOTTA be meant for techno. schlatt is so far from even being considered a threat to Dream. while he was alive he was a mad tyrant who walked around without armor or weapons and even then i don't think schlatt is quite on the same level of skill to take on Dream in a fight. hell, schlatt's whole scheme benefited Dream in the end - it lead to Tubbo's promotion which lead to Tommy's exile due to Tommy's volatile nature, which ended with Tubbo trying to appease Dream by giving him another disc - just another tool for leverage over Tommy. if anything Dream would give Schlatt the role of warden. Techno on the other hand? big threat. one of the very few people who can match Dream in a fight both in gear and skill. while it is true that techno and dream's goals have often aligned, that doesn't mean they were always on the same side. it was only because of those around him that techno allied with dream. techno has also openly challenged dream. i cannot think of anyone else dream would consider a threat - although his line concerning "someone he can't kill" could pertain to Tommy - he kills Tommy he kills his purpose. so why not just lock him up? so ye, i figure it's either to keep Techno from being a threat or to keep Tommy locked away for good. prison break arc anyone?

Okay, so, hear me out…………what if Dream is the one that ends up in the main vault…… with everything that’s happened so far and that there seems to currently be a build up to an “Entire sever VS Dream” final war ( just my guess)… it could be entirely possible that instead of killing him ( that and he probably can’t be killed completely anyways) they would imprison him in his own creation as everything he’s done to gain complete control backfires into him losing everything instead. Entire server vs Dream (Excluding Techno and Phil, they have no reason to go to war
as it stands now, techno is not involved, but my prediction for right now is that we have, give or take, maybe a couple weeks to a month of streams focusing on different lore (not counting the non-cannon, just messing around streams)before we circle back around to the “Tommy and the Discs” saga, and during that time, Dream will probably do something to someone close to techno and make an enemy of him… like for example, Techno and Phil finding out that Dream has been trying manipulate and actively tormenting Ranboo (imma be honest, I don’t know what the Dream hallucinations arc is just yet… but I’m willing to bet the non-hallucination Dream is meant to have something to do with it… maybe he did something with the crown? Idk) either way, techno will probably find a way to be part of war… even if it would be simply for the content, lmao 😂

Possibly Quackity, because Quackity is a threath to Dream and Dream doesn't really like because he wants power and stuff but he's really close friends with george, sapnap, and karl, and maybe punz too, so it might be possibly be Quackity.
my top 3 are 1: techo - if i remember correctly techno and dream have said that they aren't friends but they teamed up as it is mutually beneficial and i thinik when that stops being the case dream may think techno is too big of a threat to let roam free and imprison him thus turning techno against dream too 2: tommy or tubbo - they are both the main ones going after dream at the moment and it just seems likely atm 3: ranboo - I think with his other half being an Enderman might make him a lot more powerful than he seems atm and dream may be threatened by that and imprison ranboo at some point also, i think that if techno is locked up Tommy and Tubbo will break him out and team up with him to take down dream and i think if tommy or tubbo get locked up the other will make a deal with techno to break them out/ finally, if ranboo is the one locked up we know they have a friendly relationship and if techno doesn't want to phil will convince him to break ranboo out
Since Dream has helped Techno with obtaining totems of undying, he helped Techno escape his execution, and they fought side-by-side, I don't think Techno will be going into it any time soon. Again, definitely could happen.
Techno has 0 reason to be imprisoned here.
@@Likeusb1 my thinking is more that the only thing between dream and techno right now is mutually beneficial teaming to get a goal they both wanted and techno might very well be the only real threat to dream on the whole server. If dream thought this too he might try to take the threat out before it even becomes a threat that seems like a good enough reason to me
Now we know that he is the one,dream will be put in it. He will be imprisoned in his own server.
Before Dream, Technoblade, and Philza teamed up, I thought Philza could be a good candidate, because Dream knows that he is smart, and won’t be able to puppet him. Also, he is teamed up with Technoblade, who also is too smart to be used. So by putting Philza in the cell, he could threaten to kill Philza if Technoblade doesn’t do what Dream says, as he only has one canon life. To follow up, I also believe that this could be true because they said that they were only teaming up for personal interests, not because they were friends. So it would make sense for Dream to go after them, as they are the only two people that pose a big threat to him other than Tommy. Even though Tommy isn’t that powerful, he still never sides with him, and always goes against him. Another fun theory I have, is that Niki and Fundy have a villain arc, in which they go after Dream too. (And maybe they all team up against Dream) TLDR; Philza could be a good candidate to be in the prison, and Niki and Fundy might also be going against Dream
It might be wilbur or Jschlatt because they might get resurrected
Since both Wilbur and Schlatt were allies of Dream the last time they were alive, I don't think that they'll be put in the prison.
I think it is going to be Wilbur after they revive him. He was insane before he died. He could have done anything and when he died he didn’t just go away, he came back as ghostbur. I think he is the only one that really makes the most sense with the criteria. Along with maybe Philza, Tommy, turbo and maybe techno all teaming up to break him out to get the prison break arc he was taking about.
Its funny coming back here after what happened earlier today, dream was thrown in his own prison.

Dream could be using techno to destroy man burg then use that favor to walk into the cell marking as technos theme of always being betrayed by his alleys and friends and then his one friend Philz’s the only person who’s never used or betrayed him will use his last life to break him out then techno will go to destroy the server in revenge killing the dream smp leaving only the villains and the last sparks of the ashes of man burg to build the dream smp a new as techno finally kills himself last as he sees himself as a never ending weapon of war to be used by outhers but that’s just my theory
That’s a cryptic theory, but could happen. I don’t think Dream would use the favor to but Techno behind bars, maybe instead, to help him put someone else.

Tbh that's a nice theory. How techno would kill himself even wen he never dies somehow reminded me of Adolf Hitler. Just like Hitler declared himself immortal after many failed assassination attempts and then in the end he committed suicide, the fact that techno would kill himself is similar to that. Anyways Phil sacrificing for techno and techno destroying the server and killing hinself is an awesome theory. PS-: I am not comparing techno with Adolf Hitler. I think that Tubbo will be put in the vault, To hurt Tommy mentally, Ranboo or Big Q will probably escape, freeing Tubbo and the others, Ranboo getting over Dream and Quackity joining Techno to help Tubbo out.
I think that when Tommy and Tubbo confront Dream, Dream will kill Tubbo but keep Tommy alive and throw him in the prison.

I figured out how to get into the prison.step1 identify all guards. Step2 stalk the guards and find at least one friend or family member they’re close with for each of the guards. Step3 convince to the friends and family members to stage an accident. Then while the guards are destracted you get all of your allies to help mine in and escape with the prisoner before the gaurds get to any form of computer

BBH is my best guess and here’s why: Now that he is infected with the egg and now wants to take over the entire dream smp I can dream having a big problem with that. He is highly capable sense he has 3 allies and is planing to make more he will be a huge hassle in the future. Because of these allies he won’t be killed easily.

I think that Phil or Tubbo is going to be locked up in the main jail. This is because the vault is called Pandora's vault, which refers to Pandora's box. Pandora's box only contains one thing, hope. Technoblade could become incredibly powerful and could be a threat to dream, but if dream were to lock up techno's hope, Philza, Techno would go mad. Tubbo is basically Tommy's hope. Tommy could become extremely powerful because for some reason tommy is able to connect with others on the dream smp without really trying. If tubbo and phil(or carl) gets locked up, some of the strongest people on the server would lose their hope.

I see MANY possibilities here that weren't listed on the video. 1st punz can go in a minicell or maybe the maincell. recently backstabbed dream and is of no use to him anymore, and also can't be killed since L'manburgs citizens would probably help him in a fight. 2nd dream canonicly dosen't know that nikki and fundy backstabbed L'manburg so he treats them as enemys. 3rd the possibility of Will being revived with Phills ritual and beeing locked in, because if he dies he can be revived. And lots more candidates that are important to tommy other than tubbo Btw when i talk about L'manburg its before it got destroyed
Another reason why tommy is the most likely outcome is the fact that dream keeps tearing down what ever tommy builds

@@SkellyViper I don’t think that will be the case for long. Right now good old mean grean is fasioning himself a king. And he knows what Techno did at Georges coronation. Dream is far to smart to not think of this. My guess is that he will probably capture Phil or something to force Techno into Pandoras Vault peacefully. I don’t think he would attempt a full on battle with Techno because an outright fight with him could severly delay or even cripple his plans.
I agree. I also think that eventually, Techno will realize what Dream is doing, and act on it, but at the same time, there would be no one to rescue Techno. Getting out of the prison would require mass amounts of outside help, and since everyone has been betraying Techno recently, I don't think Techno would be able to escape, and that's not too great for content as you might imagine. Again, definitely a possibility.

As the "final" fight with Tommy and Tubbo against Dream is happening on Wednesday, I have a strong feeling that at least Tommy won't die. He will most likely 1. go into the prison 2. watch Tubbo get put into the prison or 3. watch Tubbo get killed. All I know is that there's no way Dream would kill Tommy since he likes to toy with him so much

I don't know if anyone will see this since the video is quite old already but here goes nothing: There is one individual who might be suited for the prison better then all other people. This individual holds great political power and is very hard to kill off. Dream hasn't had the need to imprison them because they weren't a threat, but since January 10th, they have become far more dangerous. I believe ghostbur is that man. Ghostbur is the perfect fit because he himself doesn't have any negative aspects, but Wilbur and Jschlatt do. After the resurrection stream it has become obvious either of them can return from the succesful resurrection attempt. Wilbur being the person that created L'manberg and Jschlatt being the almighty ruler. However, Dream can't kill a person with infinite canon lives. Story wise I feel like this makes the most sense. Dream wants no political parties so the motive is painfully obvious. Ghostbur also was outraged after L'manberg got blown up stating he didnt do anything but got punished for the action of others. That last bit needs some explaining. A lot of actions in Greek mythology happen in pairs of three. In Dream SMP I feel like they go in pairs of two. Two discs lost, two withers at the first war for l'manberg, twice l'manberg has been blown up. Even Tommy and Tubbo's relation being the 2 closest people, instead of a group of 3. So having ghosbur punished twice would be a callback to previous events. People think that highly capable refers to physical strength but contentwise it is a lot more suprising when he actually meant political strength. Thanks for coming to my ted talk

My two cents - They were going to have Tommy in the jail with Techno saving him but it's changed to Ranboo with Techno saving him. My reasoning is that Ranboo has been doing an internal War arc, and does well streaming alone. I just think that the person in prison wont get as much content... this would be a concern for Tommy and Techno. Ranboo has been developing a character that can continue to stream and be interesting even if he is locked in a cell. It would also make sense for why he moved near Techno.

Alex's character is very smart I recommend watching Quackity character analysis on youtube there's a lot of great points which completley changed my viev of this character Why Dream can't just kill Quackity? Because Quackity made El Rapids and he's very smart. As you know Sapnap and George are part of El Rapids, if Dream kills Quackity his very powerful "best friends" will turn more against him, but not only them! Quackity is/was (I'm not sure) part of L'manburg and Butcher Army That's why I said he's smart He's everywhere and if someone kills him everyone will go after that person. i think another reason that will be tommy and tubbo is because in a recent stream of tommy's dream tells him and tubbo to meet him somewhere with a compass showing where (probably leads to the prison) and also stating 'the discs' an that they will be there, i think its a trap to put them into the cells.

You forgot the most theorized prisoner.. Dream himself, some people say he made the prison to lock himself in because he noticed he started becoming mad and evil(?) Some hints happened too like, dream said his house will be biggest and coolest of all in the server, which was what the prison is known for, big and cool
