What separates KDB from all other midfielders is that he gets better as the competition gets harder. He will not always be the best player on the pitch against teams like Watford or Brentford. But he will be the best player on the pitch in champions league games or against Liverpool, Chelsea, etc. He’s got it all: passing, dribbling, vista, ball recuperation and goal scoring ability.

KDB is like a proper general with his passes he orders his team mates to go here or do this attack by just placing his passes right. At times it feels like there all his goals and he's just using his team to complete them. Truly one of the best playmakers in the world
I live in Genk and ofcourse support my local club and I swear when he played for Genk at the time he was just a little boy but really he was one of the key players for us to become Champion that season (together with Courtois which is another story). I already knew he was going to be a World Class player. You can see what I mean if you search for his highlight videos "De Bruyne Genk".

We all know he's a great passer and shooter right but I think his pace is underrated
He was even faster in his younger days at Bremen and then Wolfsburg. He just had that one injury in 2016 i think which took a toll on his pace and many more series of injuries kinda stopped him abit. I believe he would have been a better player than we are seeing now.

He reminds me a lot of Yaya Toure. Toure was more physical, but De Bruyne is the better passer. Both commanded the midfield and could take the play from defense to offense and convert spectacular goals. Both all time great players.
