    • I was an investment advisor. The advice in the video is excellent and true for the typical American. But for people who have a good portfolio of about $5m, if you look around, most people are still active at 70 (I live in LA) but by 80, not so much, so enjoy yourself at some point before it's too late. That nice vacation will pay for your last week in the nursing home. There is a difference between wasting money and spending it. Be value-conscious.

My monetary stockpile is being depleted by inflation. At this stage, I need accurate market trajectory data, but I'm not sure what to do.

All gaint corporation digital coins will become CBDC mark my words especially considering the number of Feds working at Amazon. Bitcoin is the only true decentralized currency.   • Thank You Mr.Kiyosaki & Mr.Moss....You are both greatly respected...and this is my first comment here...which is the big Reset...whenever it has taken place in history....it is accompanied by conflict....nothing materially has changed without a conflict...therefore...my opinion...is that Yes..there will be a reset...it may have already started...but conflict is something we are still to witness...what it may be is anybody's guess....and what form the Reset takes is not something I can say with any conviction...but I do feel....that BTC will perhaps become the reserve currency..and all other fiats...perhaps will exist but not in any way or form or domination that they enjoy at present...!!!

  • Gaslighting is from a 1938 play named (appropriately) Gas Light. It was made into films in 1940 and 1944. I've only seen the 1944 version, but it's a great movie. The story involves a man who romances and marries the protagonist to get access to her inheritance. He starts manipulating her by telling her things that are untrue, and controlling the situation by planting evidence as verification of these false claims. As she is starting to doubt her own sanity, he hires staff and convinces them that she's delusional as well. The whole gaslight part comes in because the house lighting is lamplight that uses natural gas as fuel for the flames. During certain parts of the day, when she is supposed to be alone in the house, she sees the lights dim as if someone else is using the house lighting other than her, as well as hearing noises from the boarded up attic area. Her husband tells her over and over that she's imagining the whole situation, when it is fact him that was in the attic the whole time, accessing it from a window. Thus the term "gaslighting" is trying to convince someone that you are not doing exactly what you are doing, while telling them that they're crazy for even suggesting that those things are occurring.

  • I used to think every investor went broke during recessions, meanwhile some make millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went into business. Bottom line, there's always depression for some, and profit for others, it all starts from having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides $250k to invest for future, unfortunately l'm a complete noob.

    • Investment is a fabulous way to save money for the future as well as a way to generate passive income. Those who make poor mistakes early in life regret them later in life. But, if done alone, investing may be challenging and risky. For this reason, I suggest consulting experts for advice (financial advisors). The difficulty lies in effectively employing it, not just watching videos and reading investing books.

  • A ledger cannot be money nor a store of value. It is simply a record, in the case of bitcoin a digital record. It is not money, at best it can pass as digital fiat with a limited supply.

    • CBDC is just going to be fiat by another name. Bitcoin is intrinsically different in that the supply is limited, it can't just be printed by the trillion and devalued to a fraction of it's worth. What I still can't wrap my head around is *why* people assign value to a packet of 0's and 1's in cyberspace. Paper that is supposedly backed by *something* at least makes a measure of sense. But a digital coin? I don't get it.

  • Historically the gold standard has worked just fine with mass poverty and starvation. The money back then, before fractional-reserve lending, fiat money and central banking, was as sound, hard or real as any libertarian or Austrian economist would want; but most people didn't have any, and they lived in really deprived conditions.

  • Where I live in Australia, some of the banks including mine are putting time delays on transferring money to crypto exchanges and are also putting limits on how much money you can transfer to any crypto exchange each month. Its disgusting that you cant even spend your own money the way you want anymore

They wanted to know some details about my profession and they took details on the note denominations I deposited. I have zero trust in the Australian banking system these days.

  • Well, some of us haven't worked in over 7 months for many reasons, including health issues...I've TRIED AND TRIED to get a job but I hardly get any interviews and if I do I"m still not hired but due to my health problems I probably couldn't keep them long anyways. I'm 47, type 1 diabetic and suffering from pain and issues w/numbness in my hands...I"m trying to improve my health but I have applied for disability...people like me are really not able to invest because we have NO MONEY at all!

  • Central Bank of Iraq Governor today wed. 08/16/23 just spell in codes a bunch of Bombs 👀The local currency is covered by the reserve, which is subject to foreign balance protection. Iraq’s gold reserves are 132 tons, and future of the currency reserve is tied with the yellow metal (…) personally I support this vision.We will not print more dinars, unless we get equivalent foreign currency, withdraw the damaged to avoid inflation. It is not possible to float the dinar in Iraq, because we do not have various sources of foreign currency.👀

    • I hope it all works out, Iraq has more opportunities for wealth creation in oil, water, food, minerals & tourism it was heart breaking to see what was going on there when your kids could choose to do anything they choose too…be in a safe prosperous county… So are you saying the Dinar is going to go up in value again world currencies?   • I live in Turkey/Türkiye. Many people just buy gold. İnterest rates are way below current inflatation rate. People who could borrow money from the banks and invested in assets got rich in very short time. Buying gold has its tradition here newly weds get gold coins as gifts,you buy gold coin for your friends newborn etc. So gold has been the reliable currency for centuries.
