That's what I find, as well. The designer is really fanatic about hidden info, and I get it, but playing solo demands clarity. What happens frequently is I remove a casualty only to discover it wasn't what I thought it was, and I have to redo the combat.
@@SoloBattles How do you play when you have 3 hits to apply (1st hit the unit becomes spent, 2nd hit retreats, 3rd hit is destroyed). So knowing that it will ultimately be destroyed, do you still retreat it, pushing friendly units on its way, or do you destroy the unit on location?

Can the Austrians unpack their bags and rally troops if they haven't opened the supply lines to the north or east? The supply rule of 3.0 requires baggage trains to be in supply before they can rally troops, and the French are blocking those lines of supply. Is there an update that allows the Austrians to unpack and rally?
Yes, the Austrians can use Alexandrie as a supply source until the end of the day, at which point they must have secured one of the other supply sources.
How do you like 1 BT for the Austrians? Does that feel better? How would it work at Austerlitz and Waterloo to have only 1 BT for the Allied armies?
It does. I have also played Austerlitz that way and it was fine. It does make the placement of the single BT a much more interesting decision. Same for Waterloo.
