$1,300,000 at a global level doesn't sound very "gold" to me! Unless of course, the film cost $100,000 or $200,000 to make. Ethan Coen's second outing just proved once AGAIN : woke joke, choke, broke. So this movie will suffer the same fate, being woke as it is.

The writing for the book was bad so that's not her fault. She's done countless movies since and done fine. Same for Pattinson. Although I'd argue he's killing it more on the career path.

Saint Maud was one of the most accomplished debuts I've ever seen so I've very high hopes for this one.
It's crazy to me that it's been 13 years since Drive came out- and finally we get a movie that feels like it takes place in a similar universe. Can't wait.

I am deeply suspicious that Kristen Stewart and Katy O'Brien are playing the same person and one of the personas (probably Kristen) is completely unaware of it. Note that we don't see the two of them together interacting with another character... Which means that yes, our protagonist is completely in love with herself. If I'm right anyway.

If you want to grow up in the drama acting career, A24 is the best solution for you. Katy O'Brian and Kristen Stewart alongside Ed Harris and Dave Franco looks dope as hell.
Zac Efron and Kristen Stewart both got really buff for their respective A24 movies, so I'm hoping that this leads to a third A24 movie where the two of them fight.

A friend of mine was able to get this for me. I had a good hunch about it from the trailer, but the movie didn't come to our local cinema, limited distribution, and that was so annoying. I do wish these movies would get wider distribution or how is a wider audience meant to see them? I resented that. It takes the choice away from you and that is not acceptable. Having said that, thank heavens I was able to get it. Loved it. As good as I hoped. It also had a couple of surprises, not to mention, Ed Harris and that's always good. Now I just have to hope they release it on blu ray.
