Twiggy the Cat
Twiggy is one lucky cat. He survived thirty-minutes in a washing machine cycle. He was only nine months old when he was pulled from inside the washing machine by his owner. As soon as he was pulled out, he was given CPR by his owner. When this happened, the cat started breathing again and he was rushed to the vet. Over there, Twiggy was given an oxygen mask and was able to return home just 3 hours after the incident took place.
The owners thought Twiggy was dead because when they pulled him out, he looked lifeless and unable to move. He suffered bruising, swelling, and several head injuries due to being in the washing machine cycle for over thirty-minutes. Even the vet told them it was a miracle because given what had happened, it was highly unlikely that a cat would survive. However, Twiggy is a warrior. He survived and he recovered and we are sure he never went near the washing machine after that!
The Lion Who Survived The Snare
A lion in Tanzania’s Misumi National Park got caught in a snare in 2009. The snare was around his neck and he was continuously growing in size so the snare kept on choking his neck. There were several attempts made to rescue him but all of them failed due to the varying terrain. Three years passed by like this, with the snare tightened around his neck. However, finally, another rescue operation was launched so that the lion could be freed of the agony that he was in for the past three years. The rangers in the Misumi National Park took the initiative to save the lion.
The vets managed to sedate the lion and then cut all the electrical wires that were squeezing his neck. He was extremely weak by this time and unable to hunt which prompted the people to finally help him. He spent three years in agony and the snare was like a slow death for him. However, he managed to survive. After all, lions are kings of the jungle for a reason. They are resilient and they can survive anything even when others think they can’t. This lion was a victim of poaching by hunters. These cases are increasing by the day and he was one of the lucky ones to survive. Many like him did not manage to make it.

  • My first cat was run over by the front and rear wheels of a public bus about 13 years ago in our street. I have no idea how he survived, we all saw it crush him, he looked dead. He did fully recover at home, and we gave him to another family on a ranch for his safety. He lived to be 15 years old. Miss you, Tedo.

Well I cared about our mother my twin sister did not and our mother couldn't start a conversation but she could continue one so I devoted my time to getting her as close as I can to before she had the stroke.as far as I can tell I got her to about 98% and it took almost two decades to get there but as I always tell her she's worth it.

  • Fun fact about cats, scientists managed to figure out that the higher a cat falls from the less damage they take because they have more time to correct themselves, and considering that cats only have one life and not nine like the myth suggests, it’s not really a stretch for a cat to survive a 14 story drop.

    @atherflame7626@atherflame76262 жыл бұрын
    • tell me who that scientists. I will sue them for giving false information. hahaha. clearly you don't understand the 2nd law of motion. Final velocity= Initial velocity + Acceleration (time) . clearly if you drop a cat from a 14 story building. The cats may survive but ended up broken bones compared when dropping 1 meter above ground.

      @jeztv3159@jeztv31592 жыл бұрын
    • @@jeztv3159 actually no, and if you want to learn there’s someone who has studied a lot on animals so he knows a lot of animal facts, I think you’ve heard of him disrespecting the Shewville store before, his name is natures hood, at least that’s what I type. AnyWho I can’t remember the exact video because I watch way too much of him but he does comment on the fact that there was a science experiment where scientist found out that cats sustain less injury when falling from a 14 story drop then a five story drop because the more time in the air the more time to correct themselves, so no, you’re incorrect in your statement. And another thing I know a lot more in animals than you do especially the situation considering when I was a dumb Child I decided to try and see if my cat could land on his feet all the time so I tossed him from the kitchen down to the first landing in the basement and he did not have enough time to correct himself, so he ended up getting hurt. I hate what I did as a child to so if you want to come and kill my child self I am with you. But again please don’t try and spread misinformation

  • Let's here share a story of my life. My dad had a little red mixbreed dog that he called Little Flea. She survived 2 car accidents, was run over by the tractor twice ( she survived breaking her collarbone in a half) was attacked by two huge stray dogs that nearly chocked her to death. But she died because of oldness - was nearly 20 years old (record in my area) and in the end she was blind and deaf. She followed my dad everywhere, always walked us to the bus stop to the school , came back then picked up us again after we finished school. Always waiting at us. She was a family member who loved us the most, protects us at any costs although she was so small in comparision to other stray dogs or foxes. The best buddy I ever met.

  • Poor Ziggy the cat!! Years ago I was doing the laundry. I had just opened my dryer to check on the large blanket inside. My phone rang & I went to see who it was. Caller ID showed a pesky telemarketer. I returned to the dryer and knew from checking the first time that the blanket needed a few more minutes in there to be dry. I stuffed the small part of the blanket back inside & shut the door. As soon as I hit the on button I heard a sound like a bowling ball in the dryer! I thought the dryer had broken so I shut it off & opened it to take the damp blanket out & hang it outside to finish drying. As I grabbed the blanket, it moved!! I jumped back and then put my hand back to a "lump" & poked it & it moved & then a soft meow sound! I quickly pulled it out to find Samantha, my black & White tuxedo cat, looking back at me! Poor Sami, her eyes were moving back & forth showing she was dizzy! After a few minutes of me tearfully apologizing to Sami, she looked up at me & meowed! She did not want to go on that ride again! Cats love nice hot clothing fresh from the dryer. That is why when you take a basket of dried clothing from the dryer & start to fold the clothing, they try to jump in and curl up in the warm items. When I had opened the door & left to see who was on the phone, she must have gotten inside & got under the covers. That probably saved her life, protecting her from smacking her head on the drum! After that Sami would only watch me empty the dryer. She waited on the warm items to be in the laundry basket before attempting to curl up on it!

  • Thank you for the stories of the life of these amazing animals! I hope we humans realize what we can do to at least, with plastic and water. One easy thing to do is don't use plastic straws. They are a big problem for turtles. Many get them logged and if not helped ASAP they will die. Ask for a paper straw, if they don't have, don't want!!! If big on straws you can get bamboo straws, or a fancy one that folds into a case. It will fit in pocket or purse.

  • Hey, I’ve actually got a survival story about my new(ish) dog. Their mom and dad were found in the streets so they put them in the kennel. They were going to neuter the mother, but found out that she was pregnant, so they couldn’t keep her. A rescue team that we were friends with at the time took them in and she had the puppies. When the puppies were ready to be adopted, we adopted one of them and named him Kelev. About a year later we figured out that the mother wasn’t getting adopted, so we decided to adopt her too. By now we had 3 dogs. (We had a yorkie before Kelev and Aurora) another year goes by and we find out that an owner had surrendered their dog, who happened to be one of Aurora’s puppies. So she was back up for adoption and we thought “why not?” So we adopted her as well. She was all the way in Virginia while we were in Florida and she had to be transported over. At one of the truck stops though, she got loose. We got the call the following day and we were pretty devastated by it. Storms were coming left and right around there and it was 30° outside. She has a bit of a light coat as well. A week has gone by and we constantly check for updates. We got the sighting notifications every once in a while, but they could never catch her. Fast forward 2 weeks and a few days, (I can’t believe it either) and we get a notice that she was sighted in a neighborhood. The locals have been feeding her when they can, but she was safe at least. They set up a cage and caught her, bringing her to us the following few days. Once we got her we realized that she was noticeably skinny, and her ribs were showing. We brought her home and she got along well with everyone. I’ve had her for about 6-7 months now and she’s living a happy life. Her ribs don’t show anymore, and we love her so much. I felt like I needed to share her story since the amount of animals that survived in this video who had everlasting determination reminded me of her. Thanks for reading (if anyone did lol)

Earlier there was a 6 legged goat where they explained it was simply identical twins where the two embryos hadn't separated fully; this is known as a parasitic twin. The same would apply to the several two headed turtles, some had extra legs as well. The animals with missing limbs are where the cells which should divide off to form those limbs just don't.
