  • Dave thank you for the sighting in video. I was struggling with the reflex sight. I did as you suggested it took me 3 shots of game loads to cut the bottom of dot. I moved target to 40 yards with tss. It was dead on only using 1 shell. Thanks again from this old fella and I pray you have a safe and successful season.

  • Dave… love your videos especially you and Chubbs. Following your advice as to patience… Shot the biggest Tom in my 45 years here in NC. 1.5 “ spurs, 10” beard and a whopping 29.2 lbs. Weighed two times on different scales. Thx

  • Yo Dave, do you send your guns off for forcing cone reduction work? People tell me it helps with pattern consistency and poi issues

    • I don't think it's necessary with the age of TSS

  • Dave, I know you get tons of questions and this one may also not get noticed. You've been shooting an inertia driven gun as long as you've been putting these videos out. Do you have aftermarket recoil springs in these guns to avoid the "benelli click"?

    • I have Taran Tactical spring kits in both of these guns. But I'm OCD about that. . . check my bolt multiple times per sit.

  • I am the one who asked you about the turkey wings last year. I’ll pay shipping if you will box em up and send them to me ? Plus I’ll make you a call or two.

  • Basically a shotgun shoots like a very inaccurate rifle as in it doesn’t shoot the same every time so you want the average. This is how I sight in a shotgun for competition shooting. Set your target up at 20 yards and shoot enough times to blow a hole in the paper. That hole is your average center so sight in according to your hole. Move the target on out and get your up and down sighted in and for very long range you will need to adjust for the drop. I know this takes more ammo and to take turkeys you wouldn’t necessarily have to be this critical but to win competition shoots you want to have your gun sighted in to the best of its ability so you can be competitive. Thanks for sharing your videos and keep them coming please.

    • Wow never heaed of this method. Ill have to try it. Yes most people think patterns will ne identical from shot to shot. Its not the case. Correct
