  • This video really should have been a black screen with the text “go watch it” because you’re right, you really can’t put in to words how amazing this film is

  • Good video. What I really liked about that film was that it wasn't afriad to show Vincent not being a good person. Because they trusted us to know who he really was. Great film second best Vincent film behind 'Loving Vincent.'

  • Although his hair is very brown and he is portraying a man in his 30s, Willem Dafoe had amazing acting in this.

  • Yes, this film is beautiful and special among most of biografic movies. I am regretful in cause of "At eternity's gate" doesn't last longer as an example this year's "Napoleon". From between whole life full of passion and desire of greatness this movie contains only last months of Vincent existance.

  • I just saw it for the first time, and I'm really torn with this film. One the hand, it was a very artistic take on a very artistic man. I think the overall style did kinda fit the style of his work. And yeah, the handheld cinematography, the POV perspectives, etc. did serve to give you a peak into a different mind and all. But on the other hand, I kinda hated the entire experience haha. I guess I'm glad that there are so many people who loved it, but it definitely wasn't for me. The acting, however, was top notch, and I actually really enjoyed the scene where Gauguin said he was leaving, as I felt it showed pretty well what a panic attack can feel like.

    • That's a very valid take, the film is certainly stylized and therefore not for everyone. While I do believe all of the cinematography is effective to the story I could see how you could dislike it as well

  • Man the trailer is OUTSTANDING. The second I saw it, I could not wait to see this film. I play video games, love comic book movies, but this trailer was the most unique thing I ever saw. This movie should not appeal to me, but it was so creative on so many levels that I had to see it in the theater.

However, I just did some research and found some glitch overlays that might be able to help you with your future projects.
