for mine I used a facial harness, not sure how it's called, some call them by brands like halti or gentle leader? Anyway it was much better for me as even after a couple years of consistant leash training she happened to pull me to the ground once. They really can't pull much with that type of harness.

Back in 1985 while driving by a house backyard full of show danes I found old Duke. He was locked in a cage that wasn't big enough & laying on a bare concrete floor. He was about 8 - 9 yrs old, weak, thin (boney) & could barely walk. The owners said he was sick & they were going to put him down... I took him. Vet said even considering his condition I got him in, he still had a strong heart, good joints & not sick at all. So I fed him well & got his weight up, he was goofy happy and walking again... & a face slobberer lol! He was so lovable he preferred to sleep in a big chicken house with chickens laying on his back. He'd roar his head off at the patio sliding door if it was warm outside so he could be with the chickens. He got what he wanted loll! He lived another 3 yrs & I still miss him since 1988.

And I'm happy to see you sharing about Cash background to other people who amaze by him. By the way, can you upload Cash daily routine when he is not going outside. Like how much you feeding him, taking a bath, sharing tips how to rise great dane, etc.
the same energy as my cat. I live in a doctors house with lots of people walking in and out. And my cat would just chill downstairs getting pet and loved by literally everyone. always lightens up the mood.

Great to see you using a rounded chain. I never had to use any force or other collars to get along extremely well. It's all a matter of trust and a quiet consequent education.
for mine I used a facial harness, not sure how it's called, some call them by brands like halti or gentle leader? Anyway it was much better for me as even after a couple years of consistant leash training she happened to pull me to the ground once. They really can't pull much with that type of harness.

What a big sweetheart
Back in 1985 while driving by a house backyard full of show danes I found old Duke. He was locked in a cage that wasn't big enough & laying on a bare concrete floor. He was about 8 - 9 yrs old, weak, thin (boney) & could barely walk. The owners said he was sick & they were going to put him down... I took him. Vet said even considering his condition I got him in, he still had a strong heart, good joints & not sick at all. So I fed him well & got his weight up, he was goofy happy and walking again... & a face slobberer lol! He was so lovable he preferred to sleep in a big chicken house with chickens laying on his back. He'd roar his head off at the patio sliding door if it was warm outside so he could be with the chickens. He got what he wanted loll! He lived another 3 yrs & I still miss him since 1988.

not once did he bark, squeel or want to chase any other dogs, what a good boy, and the owner seems to love the attention the dog gets. patient enough to repeat the age name and type of dog. i believe this dog's attitude def reflects the owner.
