  • 5:50 If you check the extra2 settings you can put a ENTER CHANNEL, that is what means the area triggers, the regular "channel" option is only for triggers

    • it also allows you to have multiple enter effects on different blocks, like you can do an enter move for the some blocks and an enter rotate for others at the same time, as long as they have different enter channels

  • personally, to make the level more climatic, i would mess around with some camera controls, e.g. 1. zooming out the camera and locking it back into position immediately, like: zoom trigger: 0.8 zoom out and 0.00 seconds zoom trigger: 0.9 zoom in and 1 second with exponential out and use that with every beat 2: rotating the camera every music bar to each side. for example, every 4 beats in the bpm of the song is an extremely subtle rotation change, for example: 4 beats: -5 rotation another 4 beats: 10 rotation another 4 beats: -10 rotation loop the last 2 rules even though i’ve only been building for 3 years, i’m using my (very) limited knowledge of the 2.2 editor to help. hope it helps! P.S. the name should be ‘trippiest trippy’

  • I think with the deco and gameplay so far, it would be really cool to have the level to be themed around being in some space betwen dimentions. Sorta libmo of bein in this space and you see this flow and the worlds or something I dont know just thought of that it sounded cool.

    • Same! im looking to finish my level within this month. one tip i can say is that transitions can make or break a level. Make sure ur transitions are awesome, and readable

When you ask small kids what they want their life to be like when they are older they always have such ambitious plans but then they get older and decide to let all of that go just to spend their one precious life playing a game that offers them a sense of achievement when they haven't accomplished anything important.
