Good job! The making of the sand cores would have been interesting to see as well.
They do not use fine sand. That is why the end result is terrible. But they are hard working people and they do whatever they can with limited tools, etc..., so kudos to those hard working guys.
Can you take a detailed video of the iron melting furnace?
